Thorne was just counting the time, waiting for the hour when someone who would free him, it was still early in morning, and the officials that would free him would be here in when there are only 1 hour left in his sentencing, Thorne was getting excited since he missed eating, Thorne was not starving despite a year of abstinence since he could've just asked Mihawk to bring him food when he was still here but he refrained on doing so, thinking that he wanted to challenge himself to see if he could last an entire year, which now he saw that he can, and not wanting to repeat it.
-----------
In Marijoa, Seraphina is sitting in a room with Garling, discussing about the upcoming release of their son from punishment, Seraphina was getting excited while Garling did not feel anything, he was incredibly disappointed with Thorne's behavior of freeing the slaves that he now considered Thorne worst than scum.
Garling was incredibly arrogant, even looking down at his fellow Celestials that doesn't earn his respect, he was also part of one of the most prestigious name in the Celestials, holding a higher title, Supreme Commander of God's Knight, so he was critical on the actions of his sons, with Shamrock as a reference, he thought, Thorne would grow up the same.
"I still can't believe he was getting out today," Seraphina said, voice filled with excitement.
"I hope he learned his lesson. If this kind of thing happens one more time, I would be the one to kill him myself," Garling said, not caring that Thorne is his youngest son, but more caring for the surname and heritage he carried. Seraphina, knowing Garling's behavior, just became serious for a moment.
After 4 hours of waiting, Seraphina and Garling went towards the office of 5 elders, wherre they are sitting on their respective seats, seeing that there was only 1 hour left before the end of the punishment, they teleported towards the island where Thorne was isolated, directly going towards the side of the platform, where they saw Thorne much different from what they imagined his looks would be.
Thorne, still ignited from the mother flame, was not burning in the flesh, signifying that he was now not affected by the fire, his har, nearly reached his knees, incredibly lush of red color, and Thorne himself, being more muscular than before they left him.
"You're early, I thought you would be here later," Thorne just said, looking at the 5 elders with his parents at their side, grinning at the shock in their eyes.
"Have you learned your lesson?" Saint Saturn just immediately asked, looking at Thorne, who just wiped his smile, imitating Mihawks default expression, without answering.
Silence filled the entire platform until it was now time to remove the shackles of punishment,
"Saint Thorne V. Figarland, I, Warcury Topman, God Warrior of Justice, member of 5 elders, officially declare that your punishment is over, be forever grateful for our God as he gave infinite mercy and understanding towards your position," Warcury stated, officially freeing Thorne from the chains, he then started walking towards Thorne, to unlock his chains and deactivate the poison trap in Thorbe, but before he reached him, Thorne did something.
Thorne, who heared Warcury's speech, immediately released the full weight of his Armament, destroying the chains in his limbs at an instant, the platform that was being held up by the started to drop before being caught by Thorne himself, preventing it to releasing the poison gas.
Thorne then throw the platform, as heavy as an island, towards the sea, where it reached more than 5 kilometers before dropping, showing Thorne's incredible strength, enhanced by the Devil Fruit that now activated, Thorne then lookked at the 5 elders, without talking, but showing that he was capable of escape, just not wanting to.
"It seems that this punishment has not affected the growth of your strength, Saint Thorne," Saint Warcury said, detecting where the platform traveled before dropping.
"I wonder, how strong are you now," Saint Saturn then said, curious about the strength Thorne now posses, being just near 9 years old.
"Do you want to try? Saint Saturn?" Thorne then said, walking towards Saint Saturn, while the trees were being affected by the winds that the storm was producing that was brewing above them, suddenly, a loud crash was heard, caused by a lightning that was immediately followed by thunder, where Thorn was faced to faced with Saint Saturn with a faint smile visible at his face, Saint Saturn, was just looking at Thorne, realizing that this battle maniac was provoking a fight due to him being shackled for a year and did not have anyone to fight.
"Now is not the time for a fight, Saint Thorne, you must remember that you were just released from punishment," Saint Saturn then said, which just made Thorne bored.
"Come on, give me someone to fight, I have been idle for a year," Thorne whined, where the other elders were just shaking their heads, thinking that this punishment just made Thorne incredibly bored for a year, restricting him from a year of fighting he could be doing.
Garling then looked at his son, who had changed so much even just for a year of isolation and punishment.
"You don't have to worry, Shamrock is in the God's Knight quarters. After eating, you could report immediately, and train and fight with whomever you want," Garling said, assuming that Thorne was still a God's Knight trainee, no matter how strong he became.
"Ohhh, I don't plan on joining the God's Knight anymore," Thorne just said casually, looking at Garling who just froze at the words of his son, his face immediately became distorted, with Garling using his full strength Conqueror's Haki, towards Thorne, who just used his Conqueror's haki to counter the effects, another thing that shocked the 5 elders in their side.
"Should we intervene? This matter involves a Celestial with incredible talent, having a record of disobedience, not wanting to commit to the God's Knight Organization" Saint Saturn then telepathically communicated with the other Elders.
"This is a matter of God's Knight. Garling should be able to handle it by himself," Saint Warcury answered, knowing the brutality of Garling, especially when push comes to shove, even against his closest friends.
"I second the motion that we should intervene, this is a rare kind of Celestial, one that only appeared in every few centuries, we should be making sure that their loyalty is in our heritage," Saint Ju Peter said, wanting to have a say on Thorne's handling.
"I believe that Saint Garling should be more than capable of suppressing rebellious thoughts running in Little Thorne's head," Saint Marcus Mars, replied, not wanting to involve himself in family matters of Figarland, with Thorne only having a tantrum due to his imprisonment.
"What about your decision, Saint Ethanbaron?" Saint Saturn asked, noticing that Saint Ethanbaron was just silent,
"I do not want to concern myself with my grandson's future, this is just a temporary thing, one day, whether he like it or not, he would not be able to escape his destiny, he would come back into the God's Knight," Saint Ethanbaron said, confident that the true allure of being a Celestial Dragon and God's Knight would grow into Thorne's future, since there is no escape in the grasp of Celestial Dragons.
Back with Thorne and Garling, who were locked in a full-blown Conqueror's Haki war, their auras clashed violently — Garling's Haki radiating a blood-red hue, while Thorne's flared a striking blue
