Elder Scott scoffed, his eyes meeting Mason's.
"You set me up," Scott commented while chuckling.
"I am afraid that I do not understand what you are trying to say," Mason replied with a tilt of his head. His face showed a bit of ignorance, but not surprise to Elder Scott's accusations.
Marissa watched both of them exchange cryptic words, and her instincts told her that there was more that meets the eye.
"Take him away, I can't bear to see his face," Gray instructed, and the soldiers led Scott out of the hall.
Eliana ran after them, bawling her eyes out.
"You did well Alpha, the traitor is out of the way," Mason praised with a bow.
Bryce nodded, dismissing the meeting at once.
