"So, who won?"
Apollo's reverse-eyes gleamed with calm as he gazed at the others. Bringing Taesoo back with him had been exhilarating—partly due to the way he tore through traffic like a madman.
But the real thrill? The bet.
Apollo had wagered with the King of Ansan that Jichang would walk away unscathed from his fight. A bold gamble—but after fighting Jichang himself, he understood just how terrifyingly talented the man was.
Sure, he had once lost his will after going toe-to-toe with James Lee. But this current Jichang Kwak? He was dangerous. He didn't fight for pride or anger. He fought because it was fun. Because he believed in himself.
Apollo's gaze shifted to the King of Incheon, now wearing a red jersey that looked even redder—soaked in his own blood.
He grimaced. 'How hard did you hit him, Jichang?' The very thought made his stomach twist.
"...He did," Jagyeon muttered, voice low but audible. His pride clearly didn't love admitting it—but he accepted the outcome.
Apollo nodded as if he'd expected that answer. Turning to Jichang, he said, "I brought Taesoo." Then, with a laugh, added, "And don't worry—by the time I got there, this guy had already wrecked his opponent."
"You sure he's not lying?" Gongseob smirked from the side, throwing a glance at Taesoo.
After all, he had won the last time.
A vein twitched in Taesoo's forehead. He took a step forward, now face-to-face with the King of Daegu.
"Say that again, and I'll show you who lost."
Gongseob's smirk deepened, muscles tensing like a predator ready to pounce. But before either could move, Apollo stepped between them in a blur.
"Alright, alright—chill. No fighting right now." He clapped both their shoulders. "We should be celebrating. These two won."
Jagyeon, listening to the casual banter between them all, cleared his throat. "Uh… Apollo. My key?"
Apollo turned to him, one brow raised. "What are you talking about? You're not going anywhere right now."
'What?' Jagyeon blinked. Even he didn't see what was coming next.
.
.
.
The red-haired King of Incheon sat hunched over a small café table, sipping his third coffee with the mood of a funeral attendee. He was the only one looking miserable.
"C'mon, Jagyeon, cheer up. We don't bite," Apollo grinned at him.
Jagyeon looked up… and immediately regretted it.
Apollo was trying to look kind, imitating Hansu's air of nobility—but to Jagyeon, the black-eyed menace looked more like a demon trying to cosplay a monarch.
All five of them had crammed into the same café Jichang had first brought Apollo to. And why was Jagyeon depressed?
Because Apollo had insisted that everyone was broke. And since Jagyeon had lost, he had to pay for everyone's food.
To make matters worse, Apollo was still flaunting the 'borrowed' car keys like a trophy.
'You won't give back my car unless I pay for this crap, you fu—' Jagyeon kept the curse in his head, wearing the thinnest polite smile imaginable.
"So," Taesoo cut in, brushing aside the banter, "what was it you wanted to talk about, Apollo?"
He was already aware of Apollo's breakthrough in speed mastery. Sure, it had shocked him—but he recovered fast.
He'd heard of "the Wall" before, something old members of the Zero Generation had mentioned in whispers.
But Apollo had said this talk was about something even more important.
Hearing the question, Apollo finally stopped pestering Gongseob and nodded.
"I want you all to do one thing: whenever you defeat a King, make sure they implement the bully system in their area."
It was Apollo's way of raising funds—quick, repeatable, and scalable. A simple business model that worked.
All three Kings nodded without hesitation.
"…Uh, what exactly is the bully system?" Jagyeon asked cautiously.
Jichang took the lead, explaining how it worked from top to bottom. He ended it with a tone that was almost a command: "Make sure Incheon gets one too."
Jagyeon nodded along. He actually thought it was a solid idea.
But Apollo raised his hand before they could move on.
"That's not all I wanted to say."
His smirk widened as he pointed at each of them in turn.
"I hereby declare… that I want to form a crew—our crew."
The air froze.
Not one of them had expected that.
Apollo? Starting a crew? With all the Kings in it?
For a second, no one spoke.
Then came the replies:
"I'm out." "Same." "Business partners is fine, but I'm not working under anyone."
Apollo blinked, stunned. What? He had expected some pushback, but… not total rejection. Not even Jichang?
Clutching his chest in mock heartbreak, he cried, "You… traitors!"
But then, dropping the theatrics, he got serious.
"I mean it. This crew won't be the usual deal. No fixed leader. No vice-captain."
He grabbed a napkin, quickly scribbling a diagram.
"Every position will be earned through battles. Even the leader can be replaced if someone stronger comes along."
Jichang deadpanned. "That's how most crews work, Apollo. That still doesn't give us a reason to join."
Apollo paused. "You're right. The mighty kings... Who could possibly stand against you, right?"
He leaned forward, eyes gleaming.
"The last generation made a gang because he existed. Their enemy forced them to unite."
Jichang's expression shifted—he knew exactly who Apollo meant.
"But you guys? You've gotten comfortable. You think you're the strongest, just because no one's tested you."
Taesoo furrowed his brow. "Then who? Who's stronger than us?"
Apollo stood up, his voice calm—but his eyes blazed.
"I'll show you who."
He turned to them with a grin.
"I'm taking you all to Cheonliang."
....
Its coming y'all.
