Chapter 30 - The Silent Strike

Feng Xiao Xiao sat in her private office, far from the chaos of the Feng estate. The lights were dim, a soft glow casting shadows across her sharp features. Gone was the naive girl from her past life.

She tapped her fingers against the table, eyes on the screen.

"Are you sure the shares are secured?" she asked coldly.

Her assistant, a loyal graduate of her late mother's trusted network, nodded. "Yes, Miss Feng. Through three offshore accounts. Feng Corporation's third subsidiary—Yuan Group—just transferred eleven percent of internal shares to our holding company. You're now the third largest silent investor."

Xiao Xiao leaned back, a slow, dangerous smile blooming on her lips.

"Good."

Yuan Group was small, but it supplied key tech to Feng Corp's luxury development line—and her father had overlooked it for years, letting old friends mismanage it into near-collapse.

Now she owned a piece of his empire.

And he had no idea.

"I want their internal strategy files by next week. We'll restructure silently. Make it seem like natural growth. And when the board notices—"

She paused, her eyes gleaming with quiet fire.

"Let them think it's fate."

As her assistant left, she stared out the window. The sky was turning amber, dusk softening the cityscape.

She hadn't taken a single public step.

But she'd already stolen a piece of the empire her father denied her mother.

And she was just getting started.
