Chapter 21 - Chapter: 21, Next Steps_3

Chapter: 21, Next Steps_3

The face of the sin of solace lit up with excitement, completely opposite to the reaction of the real consciousness, which is horrified.

The real Sunny was in despair. Now, she has lost her freedom for the second time in her second life. A second chance! This is extremely hard to get, if not impossible. And now, she actually lost the chance she desperately wanted from her last life.

It seems she really couldn't defy fate. She was in despair while the sin of solace was enjoying the situation. The less the true body resisted the more control it will get over the body.

At that moment, Noir said, bringing a ray of hope to Sunny "Wait and relax Sunny. After we go back to the waking world, I will find a way to break [Shadow bond]."

The true consciousness of Sunny was shocked. Why would someone give up on a free slave, a divine one at that? The person in front of him knows about her true name, her exact words when facing Daeron of the Twilight Sea. So there was no way this person wouldn't know about her divine aspect. No, he might even know everything about her.

But Noir sounded genuine, why would he give up on something like that if he knows everything about her?

The sword wraith's face went pale. But not because of anything else, it was because of [Shadow bond].

The sword wraith's mentality and ideals were completely opposite to Sunny's. If Sunny loved something, she would hate it. If Sunny refuses to fall in temptation, she would boldly enjoy them.

And that's what she is doing right now. Sunny's body and soul is attracted to Noir. Even now, it was craving to touch him. The body wanted to embrace him, hug him, kiss him and feel his warmth. The consciousness of sunny has resisted these temptations in the previous life, and as much the sword wraith wanted to indulge in those addicting feelings.

Even now, Sunny's body is shaking with excitement just seeing him in front of her. She is desperately trying to free herself, not to get away, but to embrace Noir as soon as possible.

As though why would Noir decide to free her? I mean why would he need to force someone to serve him when he can just create a clone and give that clone the exact aspect as sunny?

The fact is, he doesn't lack divine aspect users serving under him. You see Jin? He has the same potential as a Divine aspect user without utilizing his shadows. He literally has four sacred shadows. There could have been more, but for some reason, Beru and Igris have been weakened to transcendent rank. If not for that, they could have also been of sacred rank.

Tusk also would have been at least supreme rank; after all, he was comparable to supreme rank at the end.

He also noticed that among his shadows, only those he resurrected himself had regressed in ranks. And the shadows he inherited from Ashborn, the first shadow monarch, were the ones who didn't regress from their original ranks.

Jin simply ignored this.

Anyway, with only Jin, Noir has a companion strong enough to conquer the entire humanity right now. What would you do when your opponent is someone who can regenerate even from a drop of blood, whose essence regeneration is fast enough, that depletes all his essence at once and the next second he is overflowing with essence again?

And enemies who have demi-gods, as their servants, what can you do?

The answer is simple: Nothing! In this Earth, unless an actual Divine being or the dead gods resurrect and intervene, the enemy is invincible.

Not to brag but why would Noir need Sunny when he already has the strength to completely destroy Humanity and create his own Kingdom, ruling the entire Dream Realm.

Not to mention Jin alone can accomplish all these feats and Noir can create beings like him anytime he wants. Think about it, what if he created an army of people as strong as Jin with his Shadows or even stronger than him?

Noir quickly dismissed the thought, it will happen, but not anytime soon. So he looked at the important matter.

"Anyway, give it to me."

Sunny and others looked at him, confused. "What do you mean?" Sunny asked.

"The thing my future-self entrusted you to deliver to me. I am pretty sure there is something."

As if to remember something, as soon as Sunny was released by Aura, she quickly lunged at him and kissed him forcefully. A sudden current ran through their body and Noir heard the spell whisper

[You have received a Memory]

He forcefully broke the kiss and summoned the memory as Sunny just clung to his waist.

As a sheet of paper materialized in his hand, he read the contents in it.

"You've got to be kidding me!" Noir exclaimed with visible rage in his eyes.

Half a month later…

In the vast expanse of the nightmare dessert; a lone blue haired figure was walking towards the black Skull Citadel.

Rimuru radiates a divine majesty, cloaked in flowing white robes etched with golden sigils. Her glowing eyes and floating hair exude calm omnipotence.

She looked at the runes describing the memory in front of her eyes.

Memory: [Mirror of Jura Tempest]

Memory Rank: Divine.

Memory Type: Tool.

Memory Tier: VII.

Memory Enchantments: [Jura Tempest], [Soul bound]

[Jura Tempest]

Enchantment Description: "A Mirror that holds the entire 'Jura Tempest Federation', free to access anytime for the bounded individual."

[Soul bound]

Enchantment Description: "It is only accessible to the person who bounds with this Artifact."

A person in dark clothes that resembled a Dark Butler manifested from nothing behind her, bowing with respect for the person in front.

Even though his master has lost her former prowess, his loyalty for her hasn't reduced a bit.

She ordered with her delicate and soft voice "Clear out every Nightmare Creature above the Corrupted rank with the Black Numbers, but don't offend the unholy rank."

The Cursed Demon, Diablo, nodded his head and disappeared into thin air saying "Yes, My lady."
