(Third Person POV)
Pinkpunk lunged at Ryoma, swinging the butt of his cannon at him, "Take this!!" He shouted fiercely, "You maggot!!!"
Ryoma dodged out of the way, avoiding the swing and planted his feet on the ground, crouching down slightly.
"Flaming-Fox Style: Cross"
In an instant, Ryoma had drawn his sword, swinging it so fast that almost nobody was able to see it, save for Pinkpunk who stepped back to avoid the full-brunt. The attack took the form of two slashes that formed a cross, aimed at the Rear-Admiral's chest but merely grazing it.
"Tch...." Pinkpunk said, "This punk...."
Ryoma then appeared in front of him, still an Iai stance, "I am not done." He said seriously, "Can you handle a limb being cut off, Rear-Admiral?"
Pinkpunk sidestepped as a massive slash hit the spot where he stood, a large fissure appearing on the ground that stretched out for a few feet.
The marines watched this with pure shock, "What?!" one of them exclaimed, "He drew his sword so fast and with such power?!"
Pinkpunk tried to compose himself for an attack, "Your Iai drawing speed is formidable." He said, "But as long as I can anticipate it, your blade will never touch me."
Ryoma then leaned forward, narrowing his eyes, "Is that so?"
Suddenly, Pinkpunk's forearm burst open with blood, a long cut appearing out of nowhere. The Rear-Admiral jumped away a couple of feet, a surprised look on his face.
"That speed...." He said, "I admit, you caught me off-guard....but enough, I have had enough."
He aimed the cannon at him and opened fire only for Ryoma to sidestep out of the way. The cannonball hit a tree, the explosion causing several marines to stagger as the tree slowly crumbled down.
Ryoma then drew his sword and lunged at Pinkpunk, "Hm." He said as he swung it at the marine, "Yes, me too."
Pinkpunk blocked the blade with his forearm, coated in armament haki as a spark was emitted. He then pushed Ryoma away and dropped the cannon, following up with a left hook coated with armament. The blow was supposed to land but Ryoma was too fast; he had already moved out of the way.
Ryoma appeared next to Pinkpunk, swinging his sword down vertically at the Rear-Admiral, causing him to jump away and avoid the full attack.
"Okay...." Pinkpunk said, "I am surprised we were able to capture you so easily, a prowess like yours."
"Hm." Ryoma said, "Thank you. I hope you realize I am not going all-out. You think you can take me on?"
"Oh, I am more than sure." Pinkpunk said with a serious tone, "I'll pummel you....."
"We'll see..." Ryoma said
Over to Samuel, he was dodging Rhea's attacks, several iron chains being flung at him like whips. The tips of the chain were striking the ground, causing shockwaves to erupt, mud splashing everywhere. Her men had their rifles aimed at Samuel but could not find an opening as he was constantly moving around.
"Whoa!" Rhea said with a smirk, "You're quite good!"
She was swinging her left arm rapidly, whipping the chains at him as she had her right arm tucked in close to her, as if readying it for an attack.
Samuel had a scowl on her face, "Oh, shut up!"
Rhea swung her arm downwards, causing the chains to whip down at Samuel, nearly catching him. Samuel had spun towards his left, narrowly avoiding the attack.
"Geez, how did my life end up this way?" He muttered as he turned to see Smoker rushing him with his weapon, "Oh boy...."
Smoker trust his Jitte at Samuel's chest only for it to be blocked by Samuel's forearms coated in armament haki.
"Hm...." Smoker said, "And you want to deny you're a former government agent?"
"I'm not even going to bother anymore..." Samuel said, "But I do not know anything about a fruit, cigar-bitch, how about I just plant your face into the mud?!"
He pushed him off and hit him with a roundhouse kick coated in armament, causing Smoker to reel to the side, feeling the impact really well.
"Tch...!" Smoker said with an annoyed tone, "He's....."
"Smoker-san!" Tashigi said as she appeared next to Samuel, readying her blade for an attack
"Dammit, Tashigi, get out of the way!!" Rhea shouted as she had jumped into the air above Samuel
"Kami-e"
Samuel avoided Tashigi's blade and Rhea's fist being launched by her chain by slipping out of the way using the paper technique. He then composed himself next to Tashigi and kicked her in the waist yet again, sending her flying to a group of marines.
"Fuck off." He said with a scowl
Rhea landed in front of Samuel and swung her left arm at him, throwing a chain at his legs, causing it to wrap around tightly.
"Got you!" She said as she swung her right arm at him, it being attached to the chain still
The hand grabbed Samuel by the throat and as it did this, Rhea pulled on the chains, tripping Samuel and slamming him onto the ground.
"Ghh....!!" Samuel said with an angry scowl
"Now, Smoker!!!" Rhea shouted
Smoker had jumped over Samuel and launched himself down, driving his Jitte down into his stomach hard.
"F-Fuckk...." Samuel groaned in pain
"There is no escape...." Smoker said, "We got you."
"I doubt that." Samuel managed, "But whatever makes you happy."
"Hm?" Smoker said
"Shigan"
Smoker widened his eyes as he felt his leg being pierced by Samuel's finger coated in armament.
"From this position?" Smoker exclaimed as he tried pulling away
"You should not drop your guard, cigar-bitch!!" Samuel said as Smoker pulled away
Rhea's hand loosened due to the position she was holding Samuel in and Samuel immediately pried himself free and using Kami-e to slip off under Smoker. He then back-flipped away as Smoker stumbled to the side, holding his wound.
Samuel landed next to some Marines and immediately kicked them away, causing others to open fire at him. He dodged the bullets and rushed them and within a split second, he quickly shattered their weapons with precise punches and kicks, following up with strikes to the marines themselves.
He then avoided Rhea's chain-whips by jumping away and landing several meters way.
"Hm...." Samuel said as he looked at Smoker, "Not used to bleeding, huh?"
"Tch...." Smoker said with an angry scowl
"Smoker, this guy knows Armament Haki and Rokushiki." Rhea said as she walked up next to him, "Also, he also got me with a similar attack, so don't worry."
"I didn't ask you...." Smoker said, "But yes, he is a pain indeed."
Samuel rubbed his neck, "All this for a stupid fruit? Are you serious?" He said, "I have no clue what any of you are talking about?"
"Enough." Rhea said, "We're done trying to reason with you. You do know where it is. You just don't know that you know. We need to your activation codes, that is all. We'll beat you to a pulp and have a Cipher Pol agent do that for us."
"Yea, over my dead body." Samuel glared at him
"Have it your way." Rhea said, "Smoker is a Logia-type and I am the user of the Jara-Jara no Mi, making me a Chain-Human. I don't think you stand a chance...."
"I'll take my chance-" Samuel started before being cut off by a bellowing howl, "What the..."
The Marines looked behind them in alarm as a massive shadow barreled through the trees and bushes.
"What is that?!" one of them exclaimed
Pinkpunk, who was facing down Ryoma, looked to the side and watched as a massive yellow lizard-like beast burst through with its mouth wide open.
"What in the world?" He said with a frown
"Ho?" Ryoma said
The beast bulldozed through some marine officers, sending several flying as Rhea and Smoker watched with surprise.
"Wait.....isn't that....?" Samuel said, "Isn't that the idiot crime boss?!"
The beast slammed its head down on the ground, causing a slight shockwave as it hit several marines.
Smoker narrowed his eyes, "Tashigi!!!" He shouted, "You told me this one was secured in his cell!!"
Tashigi was fixing her glasses, "He was!" She exclaimed, "I don't know how he escaped!!"
"I am Jag!!!" the beast exclaimed as it snarled at the marines, "You marines will fear my power!!"
He then swung his mouth at the nearest group of Marines, swallowing them all whole as his belly bulged massively.
"That bastard!" Rhea shouted, "Shoot him!!"
"He ate them?!" Tashigi exclaimed
Samuel narrowed his eyes, "What the hell is going on?" He said, "He looks different than before."
Jag slammed his entire body down, creating a shockwave that hit the nearby marines. What Samuel was referring to was a light blue mist emitting from Jag's mane and blue scales. Even Pinkpunk noticed this and was quite amused by that.
Jag then looked at Samuel, "You!!!" He shouted, "I will have you tell me where that Devil Fruit is!!"
"Joe will have it!!!"
