"Using my telekinesis superpower, I can mimic levitation by controlling the air around my clothes." Silas muttered to himself, closing his eyes and taking a deep breath, "Game—"
He vanished from the masked man's sight. The man turned from left to right, searching for any trace of Silas, but he knew it was too late the second he heard that word, "—Start!"
A palm slammed into his mask, and to the masked man's shock, his reinforced titanium alloy mask quickly crumbled from his face and the horror on his face was revealed to Silas..
Before Silas could capitalise on that attack, the masked man swung his hand, slamming his fist into Silas' face. Silas quickly raised his arm, taking the brunt of the blow in defence.
Silas dashed back, grabbing his jaw, his eyes gleaming as he stared at the man standing before him, "You had broke my jaw earlier. Another punch would dislocate my injured jaw."
The man stood silently, staring at Silas with his cold amber eyes. His wavy hair beat in the wind as he entered a stance, his aura growing murderous, "I'll crack your skull open."
——
"Ice. Ice!"
Ice balled her fists, trembling on the ground. After some time, she pulled herself up to feet, turning to Luke who stood beside her with a worried face, determination in her eyes.
"Silas has already taken care of him," Luke looked out through the hole in the ceiling, an icy light in his eyes as he lowered his gaze to Ice, "We have to hurry to find that bomb, Ice!"
Ice's fists trembled as she chewed on her lower lips, summoning all her strength to take the step forward, nearly staggering over, "Don't worry, Luke. We'll split up to search for it."
As Ice took another step, she stumbled and nearly fell over, but Selena stepped forward and stopped her from falling to her face, letting Ice use her as support to stand on her feet.
"I will go check the train cars at the back. You two should go cover the front." With his eyes gleaming coldly, Silas turned away from Ice, preparing for his search around the train.
"Do you even have an idea of the train's structure?" Ice stood with her arm on Selena's shoulder, panting heavily as she gathered her strength, "The bomb could be hidden outside."
Luke shook his head, then turned to the people cowering in the passenger train car, and an idea struck him, "Some people must know the in and outs of the train. I'll use their help."
Ice narrowed her eyes, watching Luke run over to the crowd. She watched as he moved from one person to another, asking them for help, until that weird woman stepped forward.
Seeing the woman, Ice's pupils narrowed to needlepoint. She was the one who had used her ice to trap the masked man within all those pieces of metal, "Was she a clan member?"
"You know possible places where they could have hid the bomb? You even know how to diffuse a bomb?" Luke repeated, surprised by how much the woman could be use for them.
"I name is Matilda, and you are?" Matilda reached out her hand and gave Luke a polite smile. Seeing him reach out his hand and accept hers, her smile grew into an innocent grin.
"Luke!" he replied with a broad smile, chuckling to himself. The second they broke the handshake, Luke's face darkened as he turned away, "Let's go. I won't disappoint my boss."
Ice stood, watching as the duo walked past her, then she shifted her glance to the small cameras discreetly placed around the train, "I would guess they've all been compromised."
——
"Crack my skull open?" Silas stared at the amber eyed man, rubbing his wrist. Suddenly, the masked man appeared right beside Silas, swinging his leg to attempt a roundhouse kick.
Before his leg could connect with the ruby eyed youth, Silas closed the distance between them at a frightening speed, dodging the kick. Silas squeezed his fist and delivered a punch.
His fist dug into the amber eyed man's abdomen, causing the man to vomit blood as the explosive shock from the swift punch travelled across his body and exited through his back.
"I guess it is high time I stopped dillydallying, wasn't it?" Silas taunted the man before thrusting forth with his palm and connecting it with his exposed abdomen, "Disintegrate."
The man's eyes widened as the clothes he wore crumbled to pieces, scattering into the wind. Before the effects spread to his body, the amber eyed man quickly dashed from Silas.
"I guess it can't be helped. Let's end this in the next strike," The amber eyed man spoke in a decisive tone, holding out his right hand and glaring at Silas, then he charged forward.
Silas stared at him, shifting his glance to the amber eyed man's right hand. After seeing the hand covered in bright gold flames, Silas' pupils narrowed to needlepoint as he smirked.
"As if I am going to let that touch me." The second the last syllable fell, Silas vanished in an instant and appeared siting on the edge of the fast-moving train, metres behind the man.
The amber eyed man roared, spinning around with his right hand still held out. He took a step forth, then burst into a sprint, the flame in his hands growing stronger with distance.
Before he reached Silas, the flame had grew into a massive disk — double the size of any average man — and covered his entire hand. He swung that hand in an arc, aiming for Silas.
"Like I said," the voice came from behind, right in the amber eyed man's right ear. As he stood there, his pupils dilating at the empty place he'd swung his arm into, then he realised.
"I am not letting that touch me." Silas' voice added, then he slammed his palm into the man's back, clenching his hand and digging his fingers into the man's back, "Now tell me…"
The amber eyed man watched at the energy in his right hand continued to expand, but he could not make any rash movements. He could only stand while he was soaked in sweat.
"…am I holding you back, or not?" Silas spoke in a calm voice. The man trembled in his hand, and Silas scoffed, turning his gaze to the growing energy, "…or am I just being bold?"
