"What?!" I blurted out loud as I finally found my voice. "I should strip?!"
"Yes, of course," Alfie replied immediately, a wide smirk plastered across his face. He leaned casually towards me, his eyes gleaming with wicked amusement. "You said you'd do anything just to prove your innocence, didn't you? Or are you going back on your word now? Are you admitting that you're a spy sent to this family by an enemy or a neighboring pack?"
He tilted his head slightly, his smirk widening as if he already knew the answer he wanted to hear.
"If so," he continued, his voice dropping into a cold, menacing tone, "then I might as well hand you over to the Inspection Bureau. Let them have their fun torturing you, banishing you from the pack. And after that? You'll meet your end in the hands of the feral wolves that still roam the forest."
