"My brother you are thinking too much, what is the maximum that can happen in a D rank dungeon, we are four C rank hunters here, and you must know what we have to do with that porter boy after killing the dungeon boss." Kevin's partner said after which both the tankers' faces also got a smile on them, Kevin takes a deep breath and then says with a smile on his face too, "You are right, I am thinking too much, after clearing the dungeon we will remove the porter boy from our way as usual. Death in the dungeon always becomes a question for the hunter association, whether it is a hunter or a porter, if there is a death inside the dungeon and the hunter association does not have proof of who killed them, then we are absolutely safe." Whenever Kevin and his companions went on a raid, they hired a porter. When the dungeon boss was cleared, Kevin and his companions killed the porter, after which they kept the porter's share of mana crystals and beast crystals. They also kept the porter's clothes and his belongings.
Kevin and his companions went deep inside the cave while killing the beasts. The four of them reached the cave's entrance where two different paths were coming, "There are two paths here! We have come deep inside but we have not found the dungeon boss's room yet. I think only one of these two paths will take us to the dungeon boss and there will be many beasts on one path." Kevin said. Hearing this, a tanker asked, "So what should we do? Should we wait for the porter boy or should we go ahead without him?" Kevin sat down and replied, "We will wait for him, we don't know which of these two paths is right, so we have to move forward from here with the porter boy, if we are lucky, we will reach the dungeon boss quickly, after killing whom we will not need the porter boy.
If we leave him behind, he will be killed by some beast, which I don't want, I want to kill him with this dagger of mine and quench the thirst of my dagger with that boy's blood." Kevin said while licking one of his daggers with his tongue. On the other hand, Sarthak was moving forward while extracting beast crystals from many beasts, he said to himself in a tired voice while bending down and extracting beast crystals from the chest of the beast.
"Why don't these hunters get tired, here my condition has become weak just by extracting beast crystals!" He moves forward taking out the Beast Crystals and putting them in the bag, after some time Sarthak sees from a distance that Kevin is waving his hand in the air towards him, seeing this Sarthak asks himself, "Is the way closed from here or is there a Dungeon Boss ahead? If there is a Dungeon Boss ahead then me staying with them can put me and them in danger, fighting the Boss while covering me will not be a good idea."
He moves forward with these questions and sees that there are two paths which will probably take them to different places. As soon as Sarthak reaches there, Kevin prepares both his daggers and says, "We were waiting for you only, you must have seen that there are two different paths from here, that is why we have decided to take you with us to the Dungeon Boss, doing this will not be free from danger for you but you can trust us, we will not let you get even a scratch." Saying this Kevin winks at Sarthak.
"Enough of talking, now let's clear the dungeon!" said Kevin while going into the cave on the right side, his companions and Sarthak also followed him inside the cave. They all must have walked only two to three meters when Sarthak starts feeling something different and familiar in this cave, he starts having a slight headache and his eyes start closing slowly, his eyes get filled with sleep and his eyes start getting red, the same dream starts revolving in front of his eyes, a kind of unconsciousness starts spreading in front of his eyes.
"My head ahhhhh... this dream also had to come to my mind at this time, I am not able to understand whether I am dreaming or am in reality." Sarthak says to himself while pressing his head with both hands, there is already a lot of weight on his body due to which it was becoming more difficult for him to walk than before.
He was unable to differentiate between reality and dream because every two seconds he saw the bodies of two people burnt on the ground and he found himself in front of the big door inside which he was taking his last breaths. His foot hits a stone, just as he was about to fall down, Kevin's companion catches him by his shoulder, "Are you okay?" Kevin's companion asked Sarthak who was carrying a sword and shield.
Sarthak suddenly regains consciousness, he replies, "Yes I am fine, I am just feeling a little tired and for a normal boy like me, it is a bit difficult to walk carrying so much weight, so I have to use more strength to move forward." Sarthak said while scratching the back of his head lightly, he then thinks, "There is no use in telling them about my condition and anyway I am feeling a little better now, once this dungeon is cleared, I will be able to go to the doctor quickly."
Kevin and the two tankers stare at Sarthak. The one who had saved Sarthak from falling lets him go and seeing him staring at him says to himself, "useless! The weak are always useless, that's why we lure them here and free them from this useless name tag forever." There is a devilish smile on his face which Sarthak fails to notice but what they all notice is that there was not a single beast on the path on which they were walking.
"I think we are on the wrong path, the first path was correct, we should turn back from here and go on that path...!" said Kevin's companion who was on his right side, he had a sword and shield. Moving forward without stopping, Kevin replied to him, "This path will also take us to the dungeon boss, but it can be a little longer than the first path, if this path is longer then we will change our path, but if this path leads to the dungeon boss then we will be lucky because we will not have to exhaust our strength by fighting with the beasts, so that we can attack the dungeon boss with our full strength." Kevin was the captain of the team so everyone agrees with him except for Sarthak. As they move further inside the cave, they notice that the torches were extinguished at many places but as they pass by, they suddenly light up and fill the place with light. Sarthak's eyes widen as he sees small images of dragons etched on the torches.
As he continues to look at the moving torches, he sees a dragon's eye etched on one of the torches move and widen. The eye is looking at Sarthak. Seeing this, Sarthak panics and shouts, "D-DRAGON'S EYE!" Everyone suddenly stops due to Sarthak's sudden shout. They think that some beast has attacked so they all put their weapons forward.
But when he turns back, the voice is of Sarthak, "What happened....! Yes, the dragon and its eye have been scratched on these torches!" said the first tanker in a loud voice and angrily. Sarthak backs away and without paying attention to them, panics and says, "That eye moved, that dragon's eye was looking at me just now!" His dream starts flashing before his eyes again and this time he can clearly see the faces of those burnt bodies in front of his eyes which were coming in front of his eyes in a light blurry manner and were disappearing after a while.
"These faces, how can these faces be yours, you all are in front of me, then how can this be possible!" Sarthak muttered, he was not able to understand anything, he was slowly losing his senses. Just then Kevin comes to him, Sarthak sees him coming to him, he now wanted to tell him about this dungeon and about his dream, "Kevin! I saw this dungeon in my dream...!"
Before Sarthak can tell Kevin anything further, Kevin punches Sarthak in the stomach due to which Sarthak's body bends forward and blood oozes from his mouth and falls on Kevin's hand with which Kevin had hit Sarthak.
Sarthak looks at Kevin and calls out his name in a questioning tone and with his eyes, "Kevin...?" He sees that Kevin has a crooked smile on his face and his eyes are showing Sarthak the reality of Kevin. Kevin removes his right hand from Sarthak's stomach and now hits his face with his left hand due to which Sarthak's face turns slightly and he falls two steps back, Kevin takes out his dagger and says to Sarthak while looking at him.
"I didn't want to kill you right now, but I don't think we need you now!" Kevin's friends come around him, Sarthak looks at the faces of all four of them and now he knows the reality of all four of them, "I was wrong! There is no place for the weak here and the strong only know how to use the weak."
Sarthak said to himself in his mind, he immediately takes out a dagger from the bag on his back and stands up to protect himself and slowly moves back and says in a trembling voice and with sleepy eyes, "I don't have any power but if all of you try to kill me then I will kill all of you with this dagger!"
A scary smile comes on the faces of all four of them. Kevin keeps the same smile on his face while moving ahead and tells him, "You will kill all four of us hunters and that too with this dagger which you are not able to hold properly! If anyone dies here, it is you and I will quench the thirst of this dagger with your blood." Kevin said while holding the dagger forward.
Just then Kevin's partner runs from behind Kevin towards Sarthak with a sword and shield. He moves his sword forward and swings it towards Sarthak but Sarthak moves his dagger forward to save himself due to which the dagger and sword collide with each other and stop but then Sarthak screams.
"ahhhhhh...!!" Sarthak's hand with which he was holding the dagger was broken. In front of Sarthak was a C rank hunter whose strength and speed was many times more than Sarthak's. "There is a lot of difference between our strength and the strength of an insect. I can finish you like an ant by crushing you with my feet." Kevin's friend said, Sarthak's breathing becomes fast and his eyes also turn red, he gathers all the strength of his body and holding the shoulder of the broken arm with the opposite hand, he starts running backwards, but suddenly Kevin comes right behind him, he puts his hand on the ground and uses his power due to which that place turns into mud.
"Getting out of here alive will remain a dream for you today boy...!" Kevin said, Sarthak steps back and says to himself, "No...! I don't want to die, I can't die, I won't die, as long as I'm alive I will make every effort to stay alive, I can't die like this, no...! I will not die here at the hands of these people"
Now he didn't have any luggage or bags of Kevin and his companions on his back due to which his body felt lighter than before, he holds the dagger in the opposite hand with his right hand and throws it towards Kevin's companion, the dagger moves forward while spinning and to avoid it Kevin's companion raises his shield.
Sarthak was not visible to him due to the use of shield, taking advantage of which Sarthak runs with full force using his blind spot, the dagger collides with the shield and falls down, Tanker looks at Sarthak and shouts, "That boy is running away..." Kevin puts his hand on the ground and makes the ground normal and says, "If he is running away then let him, how far will he run, no matter how much he runs, instead of going out of this dungeon, he will go deeper into this dungeon because he is on the wrong path."
Tankers do not have speed, they only have strength due to which they were less fast than Sarthak. Here these four were moving towards Sarthak with a plan to kill Sarthak, clear this dungeon and get out, while on the other side Sarthak was running without stopping, the half burnt bodies of the four were appearing in front of his eyes again and again, "If I also had power, if I also had strength, if I also had a high rank, if I also had a family like the others, then I would not be running for my life right now.
Why am I so weak!!" Sarthak said to himself, blood was coming out of his shoulder and falling on the ground drop by drop and he was groaning with pain. He had come a long way while running, he sees something in front of him which leaves his eyes wide open, he starts moving his legs backwards, he says to himself in a voice full of fear while thinking. "How is this possible? How can my dream become a reality?" Just then, Sarthak hears a voice from behind him, "Yahi tak Tha Safar Apna Tumhe Hai Lautkar Jana...!" Kevin said humming, Kevin moves forward catching both the daggers in the air with both his hands and his companions are coming from behind him.
Sarthak turns back and tries to explain to all of them by widening his eyes, "Wait! You all are not understanding, this is not an ordinary dungeon which can be cleared by a low rank hunter like you. This dungeon is much more dangerous than you and I think." Sarthak then looks towards the door and tells, "After this door opens, it is impossible for us to escape from here alive, if you want to stay alive, then you will have to call high rank hunters for this raid." Just then Kevin's dagger touches Sarthak's face and goes straight outside that big and wide door and gets stuck inside the door, "Enough of talking and talking such nonsense is known only to people like you, so now the time for talking is over and the time to make you disappear from this world has begun."
Kevin and his friends run together towards Sarthak, Sarthak runs behind them towards the door, all of them cross the line that is two meters away from the door and come inside that line after which the next moment all of them suddenly stop because along with a sound a blue colored screen floating in the air appears in front of all five of them.
