Morning came and Mariana was up bright and early ready for school. After much needed rest, she now felt alot better. She double checked her bag making sure she hadn't forgotten anything. Being satisfied that everything was in place,she left her room.
Jennifer was already up and she had breakfast ready. Most of the time, Mariana didn't eat much,but after the recent changes her body went through, she felt she need more food. Mariana sat on the kitchen counter and started munching on everything she could see.
Jennifer looked at her daughter as she ate,it was hard to believe that this was the same girl she had to force feed. She smiled at her and Mariana asked in between a bite,"what!"
"Do you realize you didn't even great me good morning instead you just started eating." Jennifer said laughing a little.
"Sorry,am just so hungry all the time. If I continue eating like this I won't fit in my clothes." Mariana said and laughed.
She finished eating and grabbed her bag. She was heading for the door before she suddenly stopped and turned around going back to her mom,she hugged her and pecked her cheek. "Have a wonderful day mom!" It surprised Jennifer but she just accepted it and said,"you too baby girl."
Mariana had just closed the door behind her and was now walking up the driveway when she saw a black mustang. The owner was leaning on it folding his hands across his broad chest. For a second she forgot how to breathe,this was a total surprise. Like she never anticipated seeing him so soon.
"Good morning Mariana,you look beautiful as always. Allow me to drive you to school today." Branden said as he approached the now statue like girl Infront of him. He stood right Infront of her,his breadth fanning her face. "Are you that surprised to see me love?" He then laid a kiss on her cheek. She felt her knees go weak.
Mariana shook her head to come back to her senses and asked,"what are you doing here?"
"As I said,am here to take you to school. You don't think I would let my queen go to school in a bus would you?" Branden answered.
"But the bus will be here any minute and my friend,she might ask the driver to wait thinking that am running late." Mariana tried to make an excuse.
"Don't worry,they won't wait ,I already made arrangements. Come let's go or you will be late. He did not wait for her to respond,he took her hand and led her to the car. Mariana had never been anywhere close to such a beauty before. Before getting in,she took her time to admire it. Branden felt jealous and he unknowingly thought 'i hope one day you will look at me like that '
She heard it and looked at him,but she didn't say anything instead she got in the car and sat quietly as he closed the door. He walked to the other side and got in. They drove off to school in silence.
When they pulled up the parking lot, Branden said,"I forgot to give you your birthday gift ."
"Oh,uh.. don't worry..I think you helping me out that day was gift enough." Mariana said
"Well happy birthday!" Branden said handing Mariana a key.
"What...what does this unlock?"
Branden smiled and said," that is a key to my heart. Please take care of it."
"Be serious,I hardly know when you are joking.." Mariana said
"Okay honestly,you are seating in it. This is your gift love,and I do hope you like it." Branden told Mariana and waited for her reaction.
Mariana looked around the interior of the car ,white leather covers,blue and black dash board. It was a master piece. She shook her head and gave the key back. "Am sorry I can't take this." She did not wait for him to say anything. She just opened the door and walked away. Branden was left shocked as he stared at her retreating back.
A little distance ahead she stopped and used the mind link to say,'i am truly sorry,but it's all too much,but thank you..have a nice day '. And she walked away knowing he heard her. Branden remained In the car and sat there for a while before he drove off.

Mariana did not look back at Branden,she knew he would still be there and she did not have the guts to face him. She walked straight ahead determined to find Lisa. Then she heard some girls talking,"did you just see the car that dropped her off?"
"Leave the car,umeona uyo chali alikua ndani ya iyo gari."
(Did you see the guy that was inside that car)
She tried to truck the direction of the girls talking and she saw them standing near a door quite a distance away. 'right my hearing is heightened,I need to ask Branden to teach me how to block out the sounds. Then something else the girls said made her insides turn.
"I wonder who he was.."
"Who cares I watched her walk away from him,if she doesn't want him lazima nimpate
(I must get him).
Mariana felt her blood boil. She could tell who the voices belonged to,it was Raya and Kelly. They were both in her class.
"Come on Kelly,you don't have to be a bitch." Raya said.
"I am not being a bitch, huyu msichana amebarikiwa na urembo lakini hajui kuitumia." Kelly spat out.
(That girl is blessed with beauty she doesn't know how to use)
"Saa zingine anakaanga dwanzi." Kelly said and they both laughed.
(Sometimes she is like a dumb dumb)
Mariana almost exploded,her claws were out,she was growling and her eyes were glowing a bright gold. Just as she was about to turn around and pounce on the girls,a hand grabbed her and pulled her in a hug. Mariana tried to break free but she couldn't,she looked up at the one who had stopped her from teaching some manners to those two idiots.
It was Alex. "Finally you are back..Lisa will be so happy to see you." Seeing Alex acting so weird made Mariana forget what she was about to do and calmed her down.
"Hi Alex...what..are.. doing? She asked with difficulty,moving away from him.
"Aaa...am sorry about that...it was just good to see you,and you clearly look ok. Are you okay?" Alex said trying to hide his true intentions.
"Am okay,where is Lisa?" She did not have time to over think on what just happened.
"Here she comes." Alex hugged Lisa and left.
'I am sorry your majesty I had to touch your mate...she was about to loose control Infront of alot of people.' Alex thought.
