Chapter 26 - Sowing The Seeds

As I was sitting there in the damp crypts, the only thing running through my head was how cool and intimidating I must have looked. I mean, come on. Flaming wall? The detached way I spoke and acted? Hehehe~ I can't wait to show this memory to everyone.

"No… Ned will be with me, and he can help me fix it. And if we can't do that, then it's war, and war is something I'm good at." Robert said and resolutely looked at Stark.

"Aye. We have to try at the very least. But that is not a discussion fit for this place."

"No, it's not, but Ned… you need to go out first. Go and get all of them out of my sight, or I'll kill them on the spot. Arrest them all." He spoke gravely, and I was itching to go and see it.

"Without you there, it will turn into a massacre, Robert. My family is here."

"Let me do it, I can promise that no blood will be shed. I told you before, didn't I?" I spoke up. It was time to step into the spotlight.

"You?" King asked incredulously.

"Me. You can follow along and keep the soldiers in check. I can keep you from doing anything I don't want." I said dismissively.

"That would be for the best. You have my thanks, Lady Emily." Ned said with a sigh of relief.

"You cannot be serious, Ned! What could one woman even do, no matter how strange her powers are?"

"I am, Robert. Once you see her, you'll realize that there is nothing she cannot do."

"Thank you for the compliment. Now, follow me." I said and turned around to dispel the flaming wall. Oops, the stones melted quite a bit.

"Step over the molten stones." I said over my shoulder to the two men, eyeing the floor with hesitation. But in the end, they followed, and I led them all back outside into the courtyard. The whole retinue was still there, impatiently waiting for the King to finish his business in the crypts.

I noticed the Queen and the royal children immediately. They stood to the side, with Lady Stark, who was trying, and failing by the look on her face, to have a polite conversation.

"That whore… Just seeing her…! DO IT NOW. Before I strangle her with my bare hands." Robert growled from behind me, and I was happy to oblige. The serious conversation had left me wanting for some fun.

"Hehe~ Wingardium Leviosa!" I swept my hand in front of me in a grand and utterly useless motion, and then pandemonium broke out. As each person began to levitate a few feet in the air, the cries for help began. They flailed their arms around, kicked their legs, and generally wiggled like fish out of water.

"Expelliarmus!" I wasn't done, of course. Every weapon they had on them flew out toward me, and I guided them with another levitation charm to point directly at all those who were in the air.

"WHAT SORCERY IS THIS?!" The Queen's frightened shrieking overshadowed everything else.

"Well, there you have it." I looked at the wide-eyed king as he stared dumbly at the floating mass of humans.

"ROBERT! WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?! DO YOU HEAR ME?!" The queen continued to shriek.

"HELP ME! I'M YOUR PRINCE! I WILL HAVE YOUR USELESS HEADS FOR THIS!!!" Oh, and there was the heir. The other two kids, along with Jamie Lannister, were holding onto each other with frightened and confused expressions, but unlike their mother and brother, they were not threatening anybody or shrieking like banshees.

"What—What are you?" Robert asked dumbly.

"A God." I said with a large grin.

"I—impossible…"

"Nah, kingy. It's pretty possible, you know?"

"Ah! Ah! HELLO FLOATIES! YOU ARE ALL UNDER ARREST FOR…?!" I used sonorus to make myself extra loud, just so every single person in and around Winterfell heard me, and I also couldn't remember the word…

"*ehm* for treason, Lady Emily." Eddard added quietly.

"FOR TREASON!" I finished like nothing happened. That seemed to do the trick, because the yelling became somehow even louder and the queen and her brother became as pale as ghosts.

"Umm~ Eddard? This is when you send in your soldiers…" I whispered to him when he wasn't doing anything but staring.

"R–right. Jory!" He yelled for the guard's captain, and the sound of hurried footsteps followed.

"My Lord, wha—"

"Now is not the time for questions. Take the queen and the royal children and confine them in an empty room. Summon all the guards and arrest the rest of the retinue." Ned swiftly ordered.

The whole courtyard became a flurry of activity as Jory yelled out commands and the confused and scared guards rushed to carry them out. The Queen let out a shriek I was pretty sure could actually wake up the dead and tried to scratch at the soldiers who tried to grab her.

"How dare you, you filth! You'll pay for this, Robert. My father will hear about this!"

"Shouldn't have fucked your brother, idiot!" I yelled out, silencing her and adding more fire to the whole situation. But slowly, the yells subsided as more and more people were led away, until after fifteen minutes the courtyard was empty, save the Starks and the king.

"I-I need a drink…" The king muttered in a daze.

"After it's done, we can drink all we want. I'm sure we'll need it." Ned added tiredly.

"Well, I'm sure you boys will take care of the rest, won't you? I have other… duties… to attend to. Remember, do not harm the children. You won't like the consequences." The whole ordeal was done, and there was nothing else for me to do now.

"Emily… didn't you say you won't cause an incident?" Dany said exasperatedly once they all finished watching the memory.

"Hehe~ No. I only said I won't be acting idiotic."

"What? No… but." She was at a loss for words.

"Relax, Dany. Emily did surprisingly well… given her proclivities." Pyra said with a laugh.

"Please don't use words like that. They make me sound like some sort of deviant." I deadpanned at her, and she stuck her tongue at me in retaliation.

"So did you at least accomplish what you wanted?" Dany asked.

"I don't know. I was just winging it." I shrugged.

"Of course you were." Pyra just chuckled.

"... Maybe Robert and Tywin will kill each other?" Dany asked, sounding hopeful.

"Oh, most definitely. I thought that was given, even I realized that, you know? You'll get your revenge, don't worry."

"That is, if Emily doesn't meddle further and lets things play out." Pyra added, but given the look she was giving me, she didn't believe it much.

"Hey! I won't mess up her revenge. I'll meddle somewhere else instead if I have to." I huffed and turned to Dany.

"You're ours, little dragon. I won't fuck it up for you, believe me, Okay?" I said sincerely.

"T–thank you." She gave me a brilliant smile and continued.

"But maybe you could meddle a bit more, and set Cersei, Jamie, and the children free?"

"Huh? I just got them arrested. What would that accomplish?" I was confused.

"Wait, that's actually a good plan, Dany!" Pyra exclaimed.

"It is?! Come on, people! Explain it like I'm stupid… ugh– You know what I meant." I groaned.

"If you release them, Tywin will undoubtedly throw a lot of his resources into protecting them, thus weakening his strength. Robert, meanwhile, will spiral into paranoia and wonder if it wasn't an inside job." Pyra explained.

"Okay, so… by doing this, we put Tywin in defensive mode, right?" I asked, still trying to process what Pyra said.

"And Robert will create chaos all by himself. He will suspect everyone. His allies, his enemies, and even his advisors." Daenerys continued with thoughtful expression.

"Hmm~ I don't really get it, but if that's what you two want to do, why not? But we should wait at least until morning. Just so the spies Tywin has in Winterfell have plenty of time to send their reports." I said with a shrug. Obviously, they were smarter than me, so they must have known what they were doing.

Apologies for the short chapter. I might have to skip a few days next week, because I need to plan this whole mess out. Or maybe I won't do that and just pull an Emily. I'll see.
