The Gate to the Otherworld × The Whisper of Hearts "In the face of fate, choice is not just freedom.
Sometimes it's a deep, winding maze... with no exit."
- Fonk [Act I - The Second Seat of Canglan Challenges] The second seat of Canglan Academy, the Phantom Warrior - Altis, finally appeared outside the Dragonfang Arena.
Clad in armor and wielding twin blades, he radiated a terrifying aura that could not be ignored.
"Yomi Kuro, your battle no longer belongs to the academy alone."
Altis slowly spun the hilts of his twin blades, the icy glow reflecting the approaching shadows.
"I am here to take you to the gate to the other world."
Yomi frowned. "Gate to the Otherworld?"
Altis nodded. "We have mastered a technique that breaches the boundary between worlds.
Are you interested in witnessing powers that should never be touched?"
Yomi took a deep breath, calm yet determined.
"Today... is no longer just our fight."
He called Black Jack and plunged into the whispering abyss of the cards.
Just then, Fonk stepped out of the shadows, stopping the impending clash.
"Stand down, Altis." Fonk's voice was deep but firm. "Yomi Kuro is not someone you can provoke at will."
Altis narrowed his eyes. "Fonk. You relic. Always meddling in things beyond your time."
Fonk grinned slightly and turned to Yomi.
"There are things you need to know. About this gate... and the choice that sleeps in your heart."
[Act II - Conspiracy Among the Council × The Illusion Purification Plan] Meanwhile, deep in the council chamber of Eastcloud Academy, the Vice Principal and the Principal whispered of a secret agenda.
"The presence of the Magic Club is destabilizing the entire school," the Vice Principal said darkly.
"It is time to initiate the Illusion Purification Plan."
The headmaster grinned.
"Their power is uncontrollable. We no longer need to tolerate the chaos born of supernatural gifts."
The Vice Principal nodded.
"Fonk's loyalty to the Magic Club is no secret. He's in too deep. We must not only contain the school's power, but eliminate the root."
In the Surveillance Room, Fonk watched all this unfold, his Rubik's Cube slowly spinning in his hands.
"What you want... will not come so easily," he muttered.
Without hesitation, he made his way to the Magic Club to avert the impending disaster.
[In the hidden chamber of the Magic Club, Fonk stood face to face with the Vice Principal.
"Are you sure about this?" Fonk's voice carried the weight of a warning.
"If you activate the Purification Plan, you won't just destroy the Magic Club - you'll plunge Eastcloud into chaos."
The vice principal sneered.
"Fonk, the Magic Club was never meant to survive under the rules of this world. If you really want to protect it... ask yourself who you're really fighting for."
Fonk's expression hardened.
"I fight for the lost way. For the mission left undone."
He paused.
"But I will not let you destroy it all."
The Vice Principal's face darkened.
"Then try to stop me, Fonk. We're not afraid of you."
But the Rubik's Cube in Fonk's hand began to glow, and with a burst of invisible energy, it triggered a hidden mechanism - severing the Vice Principal's control and halting the Purification Plan... at least for now.
[Act IV - The Whisper of the Queen × Jack of Hearts] That night, Yomi Kuro returned to his dorm, exhausted - but the whispers of the cards refused to go away.
As he lay in bed, trying to calm his thoughts, the voices crept back like phantoms:
"Who do you want to protect...?"
Suddenly, his dreams sharpened into unnatural clarity.
A young man in ancient armor stood before him.
His eyes shone with the light of another world.
In his hand: the card - Jack of Hearts.
"Can you feel my call?" the figure asked, his voice resonant and otherworldly.
Yomi froze. A strange emotion surged through him, one he couldn't name.
"I..." he murmured, "I want to protect..." Jack of Hearts' voice deepened.
"To protect is to carry every pain, every decision. They will all manifest in this moment.
Can you bear that burden?"
Before he could answer, Yomi was jolted awake by the silence.
His heart pounded.
Something... deep inside him... was awakening.
