Chapter 73 - Fire Within

The room was filled with the hum of whispered conversations, the weight of uncertainty heavy in the air. MoonHaven's council hall had always been a place of strategy, of decisions made under the sharp light of reason. But today, it felt different—heavier. The threat of war loomed over us all like a storm gathering on the horizon. And for the first time, I wasn't sure we would survive it.

The long oak table at the center of the room was covered in maps, sketches, and reports. Fen stood at the far end, his eyes fixed on the plans for the outer defenses. His posture was stiff, his jaw clenched, but he hadn't said a word since we entered. His silence was louder than any battle cry.
