It'd been three days already since Jayden tried to rape my mate. She hadn't been in her right state of mind since then.
She refused to step out of my room and wouldn't let me go out of her sight even for a second.
I loved it but at the same time it was killing me inside. She was only acting that way because of what happened. She doesn't want to be in the kingdom anymore because of what happened and it tore my heart so much that I couldn't breathe.
I wanted her, I wanted her to be by my side all the time, I wanted to kiss her every morning when she wakes and every night before she sleeps. I wanted to be her shoulders to kean on in her time if despair. I wanted to be her all.
Right now, she had me pinned on the bed with her body. "Aren't you tired?"
"No." She mumbled into my chest. "Let's stay like this for a while." She added and snuggled more closely.
