"That serves her right!" The man next to Caelum said.

Caelum looked at him and then raised his hand.

"I am sorry. I never meant to say…

Hefty shadows swallowed him up and the other men trembled at the deathly sight.

"You should know what to say when I'm not in a good mood." He said as he looked away.

"What should we do, Caelum? If we ignore her, the mark will slowly devour her from inside."

"We can't allow that to happen. I will check up on her, but not yet; she should face the consequences of what she did for a while." He answered back, combing his hair to the back with his hand.

Lorien's POV

I felt uneasy in my seat, the healers rushed in and out.

Did I do anything wrong last night? Even if I did, I would know. Why did she fall all of a sudden?

I walked up to her side and held her feeble hand gently.

Her healthy skin had suddenly turned pale, her lips had become white and they were trembling. She was clearly in distress, and I wished I could help.
