Ben was stunned. He was barely 17. The martial seed implantation required a person to be 18 years old. This was so that the body needed some strength to withstand the energy injection when meridians begin to work. Now he was going to be implanted with a martial seed at the age of 17, one year before. This may appear to be a small gap. But it was not. If implanted prematurely it could cause a lot of problems and the person could simply implode. This was the information he had. They reached the building and went to a room. There the principal and some officials were sitting. He was asked to sit down. Before the principal could say anything one of the officials started to speak. "Good morning student. My name is Dr. Melrik Edorton. I am a researcher and the program coordinator for the martial seed implantation for this city." He was saying this in a very pleasing manner. Any one else would have fallen for it. But Melrik did not know the one standing in front of him. He was the successor of sages, whose legend was going to be sung by myriad races. Ben was immensely uncomfortable for some reason. He did not like the person standing in front of him. Out of pure instinct he activated the 'Jamadagni Bhavana'. Ben had gained quite a bit of control over his mental faculties. He imagined himself in the middle of the universe.
Mahaansh narrowed his eyes. 'There it is again. This feeling of overwhelming pressure. What is this? How can a non-martial radiate such power.' Dr. Melrik and everyone else in the room also felt a pressure. Melrik was taken aback. Being a peak Martial Noble, most students or non-martials have a tough time in front of him. Unknown to everyone except Mahaansh, Melrik was using a hypnotic technique to influence Ben's mind. Mahaansh was ready to stop it if it went too far. But he did not need it. Ben's mind had become strong.
Melrik paused for a second. He decided to undo the technique. Now Ben could literally see that this guy was up to no good. Melrik continued to speak, this time his tone was a bit different. He was far more cautious. " I am here to help you with your martial seed implantation. It is not the first time that we have seen people being ready for martial seed implantation at the age of 17. Some people will have strong bodies and minds that can withstand martial seed implantation much earlier than their peers. I am here to confirm the findings as well as to guide you." Melrik spoke in a professional tone. He still had a slight smile. But Ben could sense the change in his emotion and tone subtly. He said " So what is the further procedure? I don't think the scoring for martial class is complete. How will the scholarship and subsidies be granted." The principal was the one who answered it. " Ben as of now, you are in the top 3 in the school. I believe that you will be able to reach the first position. But to answer your questions we have a protocol for that. See we will conduct the martial seed implantation now. Then at the end of the school year we will see your performance and grant the scholarship and subsidies accordingly. Also, you will be evaluated differently, after the martial seed implantation."
Ben understood what the matter was. Mahaansh said, " I will take on from here. I will explain to him about the implantation." Melrik was about to say something, Mahaansh just looked at him and he cowered. Actually, Melrik and his team was supposed to do the explanation. But Mahaansh knew what Melrik was planning to do. So, he stopped him.
Mahaansh started "Congratulations Ben on your eligibility for meridian seed implantation. No student in the city had the eligibility at 17. It is somewhat a huge deal. Let us start without further ado.
The implantation of a martial seed is a huge deal. Who knows whether we are going to see the birth of another Martial Entity. Birth of a martial entity is like having an entire galactic legion which contains 6000 battle ships. So, the implantation on each student is taken seriously. So difficult that, people spend decades or centuries in a martial rank. And the beginning is much more difficult. The Knight rank is very important because it lays the foundation of your martial journey ." Melrik wanted to say something but was again silenced by a look from Mahaansh.
Mahaansh continued, "I need your full attention here. The start of martial journey is very important. As I sated earlier this stage is the foundation. When a meridian seed is implanted in your body at first it will connect with the nervous, cardiovascular, respiratory and digestive systems. Also, depending on the nature of the meridian seed it will form strong and weak bonds with various organs.
Then it will start to modify the body. This is often called the body realm. There will be some assistance from the implantation team. But lesser the intervention from them more compatible the meridian seed is to your body. Then comes the first blooming. This is the process by which the energy core is formed in your body.
