Chapter 24 - Talking it out with Jaden

Kael ran away from the sports complex and finally stopped to rest when he reached the academy area. He panted slowly, sweat coating his whole body as he steadied his breath. After a few minutes, once his body had dried up, he looked at the time and realized he was ten minutes late for his last class. He quickly straightened his clothes and rushed off.

The last lecture had already started the time he got there. He sighted others studying Mass Communication, as it was one of their core courses. But even though the lecture was going well, the same couldn't be said about Kael's mind as he was far from focused. His thoughts were filled with Leonhardt.

'Just my scent can't prove that I'm an Omega, right?' he'd told himself as his pen clicked against his book.

Very soon, the lecture ended, and his coursemates stood up from their seats, moving on with their lives. Kael sighed, picked up his bag, and headed back to his dorm.
