"No reason, I just think you're funny, is there something wrong with that?" Deimos said towards the dwarf.
"Anyway, so what do you say? I would make improvements to the axe?" The dwarf offered again, towards Kratos, which prompted Atreus to ask a question.
"But nobody asked you to, why would you do that?" Atreus asked the dwarf.
"Well, it's true, but… But knowing your mother, she would have insisted I repair that act of vandalism perpetrated against her axe by my brother." Sindri said, finally revealing that Brok is his brother,
"I knew it, you are Brok's brother. It means the other half of the brand is here," Atreus said, excited about the revelation.
"The blue one is your brother?" Kratos asked the dwarf, while slowly approaching Sindr, intimidating it as he walked.
"Yes, though my talents are vastly superior. No boast - swear to Faye." Sindri said, with his back stretched, since Kratos was all over his face, and Sindri being a germaphobe.
"If you are Brok's brother, did you know that his soul is incomplete? Cause Brok looks unaware of it," Deimos said, surprising Sindri, a reaction of shock as his most kept secret just got revealed.
"Wha- how would I, I don't even know, what?" Sindri scrambled, talking, making Deimos laugh again, thinking that it was fun messing with Sindri, remembering the memory of Sindri being broken after Brok died.
"See, you are funny," Deimos said, while laughing, giving Sindri a subtle push to calm down, he breathed in and out before asking Deimos.
"How did you know?" Sindri asked, with a serious expression, looking straight at Deimos, who was also staring at him.
"I could see everyone's soul, that's why no deception could work against me, it also means I see the true nature of souls, whether it's complete, incomplete, damaged, or broken," Deimos explained, giving Sindri an answer to his question.
"Does Brok know?" Sindri asked, and Deimos just nodded, seeing the nod Sindri knew how Brok would react.
"You don't have to worry, I make a promise to Brok, I would find his missing soul, as a payment for this," Deimos said, while making Sindri looked at the weapon that Brok made, which shocked Sindri to his core, he instantly recognize the materials that Brok used for the weapon, it was the best materials they collected in all of their life.
"It seems that Brok put his trust in you," Sindri said, with respect towards Deimos,
"You also suffered due to Brok's condition, haven't you? Still feeling the hands on your skin, when you retrieve the soul," Deimos said, shocking Sindri once again.
"I can see the scars in your souls, it seems like claw marks, millions of them," Deimos clarified, giving Sindri answer without asking.
"It seems that I would also have a debt owed to you," Sindri said towards Deimos, who just smiled.
"You have no debts, even Brok, it's my own choice to make this mission, not Brok," Deimos replied to Sindri with so much conviction, since Deimos wanted Brok to have a greater ending than in Ragnarok, since he was his favorite NPC in the game before traveling here.
"No, it was my debt, do you know how much Brok means to me?, Even if we don't talk anymore, I could already rest easily, knowing that he lives rather than dead someplace else, and now, you come here, offering to complete his soul, now that was a debt I would forever be grateful." Sindri explained, looking at Deimos seriously, while extending his arms, wanting to do a Viking handshake, Deimos extended his hands to meet with the handshake, appreciating the sacrifice that Sindri was making, knowing how hard it is for Sindri to touch another person due to fear of germs.
"Now, allow me to complete the weapon that my brother made, and Faye's weapon, to pay my part," Sindri then said,
"No, just make me an armor, also use this," Deimos said, while summoning the hide of Nimean Lion, from the very first labor he did, the one that was combined with the Gulltoppr, and giving it to Sindri.
"Where did you get this? It's a hide from a very rare creature, only having 3 still existing in all of the realms, one is in Asgard, and the other 2 are unknown," Sindri said, while observing and touching the hide, noticing it's properties that was unlike the other 3.
"It seems it was also a mutated one, with this kind of properties, an armor that is made with this would not break even with Mjolnir's full power, it would also protect the wearer from its impact," Sindri added, excited to make the armor.
Sindri then went to his workshop, taking out a legendary armor that he made long before, something that would protect its wearer from the impact of Mjolnir, but it has something missing, it would only took 10 full strikes from Mjolnir before breaking so with the hide, he then melted the armor, using an essence that comes from Ginnungagap, where the primordial frost and primordial fire meets, Sindri then extracted the essence of primordial ice, and isolating it to later give it towards the Leviathan Axe.
Sindri then started muttering spells, while reforming the armor, but now, mixing the hide into the equation, with every strike, the armor's form was slowly forming, it was slowly resembling Radahn's Lion Armor, which Deimos also recognized, thinking how would this kind of armor design reach Sindri's inspiration.
After a few minutes, the armor became complete, and Deimos looked at the armor, which looked awesome.
"You don't have to put it on manually, it can transform into a necklace, which would be bound towards you using your blood, it would automatically-" Sindri was explaining when Deimos just wore it and started using the functions by himself.
"Oh, you got it, it's fine then, it's not like I was just explaining the intricate details in my work, but sure," Sindri said, disappointed that Deimos already discovered how to use the armor.
Sindri then looked at Kratos, telling Kratos to put the axe on his table. Kratos then grunted and complied, putting down the Leviathan axe, in the table.
"Do not undo his work, only make improvements," Kratos said, warning Sindri about the axe.
"It seems that Brok also improved the axe beyond measure, very good, but this would make it better," Sindri said, having a little competition with Brok, since even if he loved his brother, he was more stubborn than anyone and prideful, insulting Sindri's talents.
Sindri then takes out the essence of Primordial ice and puts it in the Leviathan Axe. Sindri then hit the Axe, and the moment his hammer struck down, the essence immediately mixed with echoing screams of twenty frost trolls, which made the ice it generated much colder. Kratos then picked up the axe and felt the changes in the weapon.
"Good," Kratos commented, with the satisfied with weapons improvement
"Thank you Sindri," Deimos said,
"You're welcome, but how did you know my name, I don't remember introducing myself," Sindri asked,
"Well, you are known, The Huldra brothers, Brok and Sindri, considering that we already met Brok, then you are the Sindri of the half," Deimos said, as if stating the obvious, which Atreus just chuckled.
"Ah that's right," Sindri said, remembering that he introduced himself as Brok's brother, the trio then leave Sindri alone, to climb the mountain, making another connection and a friend.
