"Anything to expect from this 'god? Maybe some clues?"
After doing the morning habit and safely riding the boat, Satomi broke the silence with the salty breeze assaulting their sense of smell and blasting waves rampaging to the boat.
"When did you start worrying about this 'god' with your untouchable ability? This should be a piece of cake for all of you since these elemental gods have glaring weaknesses..." Yoichi surfed the raging tides, easily maneuvering with his skills above the waters.
It is also a knowledge check for them since they will fight something very different than the rest of their fallen enemies, a conscious element of nature. In these fights, they might be able to examine their strength and weaknesses even further to ensure their potential path to success.
"Ah, forget it! Are we getting near now? These tides of waters were pushing us away like it's angry or something..." Satomi lashed out her anger at him.
The majestic surges of the waves, stormy clouds approaching with intense lightning like a heaven's wrathful descent, and a tremendous maelstrom below the deep abyss were a stark contrast between the earlier calm ocean. The place was becoming more and more like a final boss dungeon with a school of fishes shredded in the vortex while some of them fled in absolute terror.
"Alright... This is the right spot! Formulate a plan, I will protect our children here. As you can see, the god certainly lives there and I am pretty sure it's strong to satiate your battle hunger minds... Anyway, be careful and fight brilliantly!" Yoichi ordered the boat to release its anchor while his wives nodded, using different types of abilities to get out of the ship.
"What should we do, sensei?" Ryoma was unhappy but he knew his limitations, wanting to be an adult as soon as possible.
"Just watch the show or observe their movements. I believe a simple god couldn't break their stubborn minds..." Yoichi calmly smiled and patted his student's head as Sumiko and Natsumi were also like Ryoma, on the same helpless boat.
"So... Does anyone have a plan? It looked easy to defeat that fishy god but he had the homecourt advantage here..." Satomi stared at his teammates, eventually looking at a spiritual body in the water.
"I have a plan that would completely work against that creature! So, what we have to do is to seal that god inside of my psionic sphere and rip him out of his contact with water. Afterward, Satomi could release her black orb to disintegrate that being into dust!" Makima laid out the plan while the rest nodded seriously, it's a direct attack towards the water god's weakness.
"What if it fails? Remember, a god like that in its territory will never let himself get sealed and blasted just like that!" Nobara stated the concern.
A god letting himself killed inside of his throne room? Maybe they overestimated the "divine" god.
"Don't worry about it. Still, we have you with your curse words, Yoru's penetrating point, Yuki's freezing ice, and Maki's brutish blows. For now, let's test the parameters of this god. We have our variables at hand!" Makima seriously stared at them as they nodded in her statement.
"Hmmm? Fragile mortals! How dare you disturb my slumber?" In an instant, deep blue eyes widened as the irritation of the voice cackled the stormy ocean with sky-high waves, agreeing with his anger.
The gigantic raindrops suddenly turned into spikes and lunged at the women, wanting to bury these fools in the damp embrace of water yet Satomi operated her [Infinity] as a curtain, mysteriously blocking each water barb like stalactites in the air.
"Is this all, Mr. Toilet Flush? Maybe a huge ass Tsunami or a Whirlpool? Instead, he resorted to water droplets! How pathetic!" Satomi cursed the god and snickered while the rest shook their heads, preparing for the god's retribution.
"Insolent fools! I am the Water God in the world of water and this is gonna be your eternal coffins!" Water God gradually materialized, revealing his majestic form with a giant vortex below him.
'Eh?! He looked like 'Morphling' from Dota 2! Hmmm... Can I create a template based on his Strength-Agility adaptiveness? How interesting!'
Yoichi shook his thoughts and focused on the fight with his two daughters, Miyako and Midori.
"Mortals, taste the fury of this god!"
On the other hand, Water God calls forth his 12-story building-sized Tsunami along with the formation of water animals ranging from a whale to a shark, assaulting the team from up to down.
"Absolute Freeze: Icy Touch!"
"Let's go!" Yuki marched forward as the attacking water animals turned into ice figurines alongside the water below them, spreading even more bone-chilling frost across the ocean with grace.
The rest exchanged glances and nodded, following Yuki with savage grins on their face. With the incoming tsunami, Satomi unleashed her Abyssal Red to destroy the pressure of the water with her repulsive force, scattering the tsunami slowly.
"Pesky Mortals, Prepare to die— Arrrrggghh!" Before the Water God released his creations, Maki launched a momentous attack with her [Mercurial Ring] and blasted the god's focus for a moment.
(A/N: I changed the name of Maki's weapon, [Everchanging Ring] to [Mercurial Ring]. It's not cool enough. XDD)
Afterward, the Water God recovered barely and unleashed his whirlpools at random places, eventually stopping Maki's balance on the water and her deadly attack earlier. Also, it's a way to deal with the irksome vermins from getting close to his body. A 2 in 1 solution.
"You think I can't attack you at long range?" Maki gritted her teeth and aimed her arrow against the Water God yet the force of water blocked her attack, rendering it useless without force.
On the side, Yoru sneakily passed through the vortexes with her ability to step into the air like a midair jump and aim at the god's weakness.
"Arrrrghhh! Annoying ants! Take this!" Unable to react, the Water God unleashed all of his powers and was injured by Yoru's sneaky assault as all forms of mysterious horrors popped out like a gigantic water octopus rampaging the waters in each whip of the tentacles on the water surface, creating countless of wide range tsunami.
"Absolute Freeze: Niflheim's Embrace!"
With her whisper, Yuki enveloped the octopus with embodied colossal hands, encasing the eight-tentacles monster in an enormous block of frost, and said, "Makima, Satomi! The plan!"
After weakening the soul body of the Water God, Satomi and Makima nodded. Satomi combined Abyssal Blue and Abyssal Red while Makima frowned and focused on her complete psychic control.
"Psychic Devil: Psionic Sphere!"
"What?! Fragile Mortals! What did you do?!?!" the Water God's spirituality was slowly floating in the air, stripping away from his throne. He struggled so deeply with his panicked expression and used his impressive control of water to break the sphere.
"I won't let you free!" a cold voice rang.
"Absolute Freeze: Arctic World!"
The hands-like water suddenly froze upwards like a servant struggling to save the master as the ocean currents and the water in the vicinity felt like it was the world of chilling ice.
"Satomi! Now!" Yuki shouted before panting heavily due to over-exertion. Sealing an element of nature plus its underlings was taxing yet she smiled with accomplishment at hand.
"Hahahaha! Futile struggle, ants! I am immortal! Hahaha—" His earlier anxiousness was replaced with unbounded arrogance.
"Let's see that immortality of yours, take this!"
"Abyssal Hollow: Purple!"
"Hahahahaha!"
Satomi unleashed her ultimate ability with maniacal laughter as the black hole ripped space and time apart. The artificial black sphere ate the frigid ice and ocean in its wake, constantly revolving and speeding up to the Water God, who was heavily doubting whether his undying state or a massive black mass could kill him.
"No! No! Noooo!!!" The ever-changing expression of the Water God chimed as the black hole ate its food without leaving a bone.
"We win! HAHAHAHA!" Satomi elbowed Maki and joyfully hugged them all. Makima and Yoru supported Yuki's fragile body, shaking their heads and smiling at the good outcome of the battle.
"The brief battle demonstrated their teamwork but there are still inconsistencies. Still, I am happy with the result! As for the Water God... It's still alive but only a remnant! Hehehe, I need to seal it away and give it to Chaiya." Yoichi murmured as his students ran off and joined the happy mood of the women.
'HAHAHAHA, foolish bugs! I am still alive yet you are enjoying your time here? I will have my revenge! For now, let's escape from here and go underneath the deep ocean. HAHAHAHA—' Inwardly laughing at their future demise, Water God ran off until Yoichi teleported with a snicker on his face.
"Hello, little pisswater!" Yoichi greeted him and revealed another sealing pot made with love.
"WHO ARE YOU?! Are you—" the Water God grew serious and fled at sight but...
"Fuinjutsu: Eight Trigrams Seal!" Yoichi sealed the god without any remorse and left the scene with a pot in his hands, a bountiful harvest indeed.
"Yoichi! Where did you go?! What's in the pot?" Satomi excitedly asked and wanted to boast about her achievements yet Yoichi rolled his eyes and said, "Here lies your defeated enemy, Water God. Looks like his undying nature saved him from the maws of death."
"What?!" All of the rest were shocked. All they knew was that a black hole could disintegrate anything but the stunning discovery made them smile bitterly.
'So all of our efforts were just futile for this god?'
"What are you all sad about?! It's an element of nature! Of course, your artificial black hole could annihilate anything except for these parasites! These types of creatures call themselves 'gods' since they have a mutual agreement with nature! Now that you all know their weaknesses, it would be easy fighting against one." Yoichi explained the situation and all of them nodded in response.
The women agreed and understood. The evident weaknesses were spiritual attacks and elemental counters such as ice earlier or earth release.
"Let's go home now. After all, we pretty much explored this part of the world." Yoichi wanted to submerge down below 10,000 meters of this ocean but according to his limitations, it was not enough with his capacity against pressure.
Maybe at a certain point in time, he would explore the deep waters along with his newfound power in the future.
"Yes, Captain! Let's hoist the sail!" Satomi saluted in her comical manner and rode the ship alongside the rest of the group while Yoichi shook his head and followed them to the west, back to familiar lands.
The adventure of the uneventful eastern part of the world was done and they are going back home.
