Chapter 123 - 123. Stepmother

As soon as the last sentence left the hegin's mouth, his figure almost disappeared from sight, only a blue blurred streak could be seen after him, which in the next moment threw itself at the swordsman boy. Tele Tete seemingly without any problem pressed the child's throat more and more to the ground.

"Oh, if I had the time now and I was myself, I would play with you, kid." The hegin chuckled barely audibly at the previous female voice. "But luckily for you, Teveli also likes this setup as much as I do, I better finish quickly. So give my regards to the other assholes in the Shadow World."

Although no one except the swordsman heard the female voice, the boy's next scream was unmistakable. Then the sound stopped, the swordsman kicked a few more times, and then suddenly burst into flames. Tele Tete didn't move, until there was nothing left in the child's place.

"Can I go?" The hegin grimaced, then closed his eyes.

"I didn't even want you to come." The blue-clothed hegin squeezed his neck.

"This... What was it?" The guild leader who was conducting the tournament spoke up.

"A half-demon. I think it would be best if we postponed the duels for today, until someone figures out, how he got into the tournament." Tele Tete put his hands in his pockets and walked calmly out of the arena.

According to the man's advice, the duels were postponed, so everyone's afternoon was freed up. And of course, the Athamanas immediately sought out the older hegin to question him about what happened at the tournament.

"Uncle Tete! What kind of ghost was that? I've never seen anything like it before!" That was the first thing Teveli said to his uncle in the man's room.

"Why did you have a female voice?" Citar also asked.

"Believe me, if I say I have no idea about both of them. I don't know what he does when I summon her." The hegin shrugged as the others entered his room and closed the door behind them.

"Where is your alliance sign?" Wandi suddenly stepped forward, and Tele Tete looked at him in surprise, but finally just pulled the scarf from around his neck, on the right side of which was the blood-red ghost alliance sign. Wandi didn't need any more than that, he immediately pressed his finger to the binding and spoke coldly. "Come out!"

"Hey, hey, hey! What is the sulfuric shard, the Shadow World dicksucker... Teveli, what the Fene do you want again?" The white-haired individual who suddenly appeared from nowhere snapped her hand on her hip, grumpily.

"I called you! How could a danovus and a human form a ghost alliance?" Wandi folded his arms in front of him, then stranger turned to him and her eyes widened.

"Ooooo, you are so sweet, my dear great-grandfather." She folded her hands and raised them to her face.

"It's been so long since I've seen a baby!" She started to stomp a little, as if she was very happy about something.

"I'm not a baby. I'm already one hundred and eighteen." Wandi grimaced, and the danovus tilted his head to the side.

"No way, you're not a baby." She tapped his nose with her index finger.

"Alkekengi. Leave the child alone." Tele Tete said.

"But he's so cute!" She suddenly hugged Wandi, then immediately pushed him away. "You good daimons! We'll take care of this very quickly!" She pulled herself up and made five quick movements in Wandi's direction, before the boy's eyes widened and he collapsed.

"What did you do?" Citar jumped at the danovus lady.

"Calm down, little hegin, he'll get up in a moment. Anyway, learn to behave, it's not appropriate to attack a lady like that." She raised her head.

"Control yourself." Tele Tete rolled his eyes.

"Don't give me orders, Teveli. Just because this piece of crap connects us doesn't make you my boss." The lady grimaced as she raised her right arm and pointed to her ghost alliance sign.

"Is it my fault that that's there?" Tele Tete snorted.

"It's not mine either! If you had let me suck your blood instead of biting me, we wouldn't be in this situation now." The woman growled.

"I panicked!" Tele Tete shouted, and the woman stuck out her tongue at him.

"Ah, my little boy got up." The danovus clapped her hands and squatted down next to Wandi. "Are you feeling better, little Alkekengi? You don't have to worry for a minute, mommy has removed the ugly nails from you and is raising a real danovus from you." She stroked Wandi's head, and the boy grabbed her wrist.

"One, I'm not a little child anymore. Two, I don't need parents, I have parents, I'm Vojk Wandi. Three, it could have killed me to take out all five nails at once, are you crazy?" Wandi grumbled, but the woman just chuckled.

"No way, you're not a little child, you're still a baby, my star. As for your parents, how can someone call themselves a parent if they stick five nails into their own child. No, no little danovus. From now on you are the son of Physalis Alkekengi, Wandi Alkekengi." The woman grinned. "And as for taking out the nails. Don't worry for a minute, you were completely safe. I should know how to neutralize my own invention." The danovus lady giggled.

"What kind of nails?" Tele Tete grimaced. "And why do you think crazy bitch, that he is a danovus. Because I know you're a bloodsucker." He looked at the lady suspiciously.

"Because he's a danovus." The woman stuck out her tongue. "I recognize my kind."

"The Vojk tribe consists of danovuses, they control their bloodthirst with nails." Razvan explained and when he looked at Tele Tete he continued. "When we were last with them, he told me."

"They control their bloodthirst? What kind of bloodthirst? A child needs to drink blood every week to be healthy, after the five hundred years, only once a month, and after the first thousand year, he drinks whenever he wants. Nails have nothing to do with bloodthirst. Nails are torture devices." The woman folded her arms in front of her as she stood up, with Wandi following suit, and Citar immediately rushed over to his side.

"Why am I not surprised that it's a torture device and you invented it?" Tele Tete rolled his eyes, and the danovus lady immediately jumped at him.

"Do you have a problem, hegin?" She bared her teeth, which looked razor-sharp.

"Do you have a problem, danovus?" Tele Tete repeated the gesture.

"Should I strangle you, human?" The danovus lady hissed.

"Just try, bloodsucker, you'll kill yourself too." The hegin grabbed the woman's braids and pulled them.

"Crazy Farmer!" Rahul exclaimed, and Tele Tete pulled himself up and turned to him sullenly.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"Don't act childish." Rahul rolled his eyes.

"Crazy Farmer?!" The danovus woman asked, putting her hand in front of her mouth and giggling.

"Shut up, bitch." Tele Tete growled at her and maybe they would have continued their fight if a new figure hadn't a figure appeare next to them, holding the it's chin.

"Could you tell me how this bond came about? I haven't seen anything like this even in my death." The ghost man spoke.

"Grandpa." The group of Athamanas exclaimed at once.

"What now?" Etele grimaced. "I'm interested! So, how did it happen?" He asked with a huge grin.
