Chapter 112 - Chapter 112 Naruto Shippuden

[Three Years Later, Return from Training]

When Kakashi clicked on the new chapter, he was slightly stunned by the subtitle that appeared before his eyes.

He had thought that after stopping the release of new storylines, Yuto would never again reveal anything about the future.

But unexpectedly... he was seeing it again here.

As the white subtitle gradually faded away, the next line appeared.

[Nearly three years have passed since Naruto left Konoha at the age of 13 to train. Upon his return, he is greeted by his companions...]

Then, a new scene began.

The members of the Konoha 12, who had once gone through life-and-death missions together, greeted Naruto one by one.

Their conversations also revealed some information about the future.

For example, three years later, Neji had become a Jonin, and Gaara had become the new Kazekage of Sunagakure, the Fifth Kazekage!

And then... Kiba's Akamaru had undergone a transformation, growing from a small dog into a large dog half the height of a person!

After the scene ended, the familiar subtitles appeared again.

[After some conversation, Naruto finally recognized Shino Aburame, but the absence of one person left Naruto feeling a sense of loss...]

[Upon returning to Konoha, Naruto learned that Team 7 had effectively ceased to exist after he and Sasuke left one after the other. Their instructor, Hatake Kakashi, had been reassigned to missions due to the village's needs and could no longer serve as Team 7's Jonin Instructor.]

After watching the storyline for a while, Kakashi finally saw his own appearance… though it was only in the subtitles.

On a mission? Kakashi was no stranger to that, but he was curious about what kind of mission would require him to handle it.

Without pausing, Kakashi continued watching.

[Meanwhile, the village had assigned a new Jonin Instructor to Team 7, which now consisted of Naruto and Sakura. That instructor was the legendary Wood Release Ninja… Yamato.]

'Yamato?'

The unfamiliar name left Kakashi feeling a bit puzzled, though it also felt vaguely familiar, 'Hadn't Manager mentioned such name before?'

It wasn't until the character appeared in the storyline that Kakashi's confusion was cleared up.

A gentle-faced Konoha Ninja wearing a Konoha flak jacket and a forehead protector similar to the Second Hokage's.

Kakashi recognized this person, but he was more accustomed to calling him Tenzo.

'Tenzo serves as Naruto's Jonin Instructor?'

Kakashi couldn't help but feel a bit skeptical. He knew Tenzo well and was confident in his character and habits, but his strength... Although Tenzo was a Wood Release user, he had mostly taken on supportive and interrogation roles during his time in the Anbu.

It wasn't until a line in the storyline provided some context that Kakashi understood why this arrangement had been made.

In the story, Jiraiya revealed to Tsunade that Naruto's outbursts were becoming more frequent, often leading to uncontrolled Tailed Beast Transformations that caused unintentional harm.

Jiraiya even mentioned that he had been scratched by Naruto in his Tailed Beast Transformation, leaving two bloody marks. However, Yamato's Wood Release was uniquely suited to suppress the Tailed Beast, which was why he had been assigned this critical role.

[At the same time, due to Sasuke's absence, Team 7 welcomed a new member: Sai.]

After the subtitle explanation, the scene shifted to a strikingly handsome young man with skin so pale it looked like it had been forgotten during coloring.

But the moment he appeared, he clashed with the existing team members.

[With all members assembled, the new Team 7 embarked on a brand-new journey.]

Kakashi clicked his tongue. He felt that compared to Sasuke, this new member's personality was quite troublesome. It's mainly reflected in his conflicts with his teammates and that nauseating fake smile.

It was so bad that even Kakashi, who is watching from outside the screen, felt the urge to punch Sai, just like Sakura had.

Suddenly, Kakashi felt a bit sorry for Tenzo, or rather, Yamato.

After all, leading the current Team 7 was already exhausting enough, so hecouldn't even imagine what it would be like with a new member who was even more isolated from his teammates than Sasuke had been.

After this storyline concluded, it briefly summarized the growth of Naruto's new Team 7 during their missions. A few minutes of footage were enough to cover what could hardly be considered main plot points.

The more significant parts of the story included encounters with the Akatsuki, Gaara's capture by the organization, Chiyo's 'One's Own Life Reincarnation,' and the battle with Itachi...

During this, Kakashi was surprised to find that he had a moment to shine in the storyline.

While pursuing Deidara, Kakashi showcased his Kamui… though it was only with one eye.

After some transitional scenes, the story moved on to information about Orochimaru...

And the battle with Orochimaru. During the fight, Orochimaru continuously provoked Naruto's hatred and anger, trying to force him into his Tailed Beast Form.

However, the battle between Naruto and Orochimaru ended abruptly. Kakashi only saw Naruto activate the Three-Tails form, but the story cut off before he reached the Four-Tails.

After some more transitional scenes, the story shifted to the battle against Kakuzu.

Watching Naruto repeatedly vow to avenge Asuma, Kakashi could guess Asuma's fate...

Because even the usually calm Naruto... showed signs of killing intent.

And during this battle, Naruto used a self-created Jutsu based on his predecessors' techniques… the Rasenshuriken!

This was the same jutsu Kakashi had seen Naruto [Kurama Link Mode] use in the game.

"So he created it here? The power is truly astonishing," Kakashi muttered to himself. After witnessing Kakuzu's abilities, Kakashi felt a deep sense of unease.

He also appeared in the storyline, nearly having his heart stolen by Kakuzu. Fortunately, Naruto, the unpredictable wildcard, always managed to exceed expectations at critical moments.

'Calmly making the right decisions in battle, a massive Chakra Reserve, and the courage and ability to create new Jutsu... If it weren't for the influence of the Nine-Tails and his tendency to get easily angered, Naruto is so much like Minato-sensei. Maybe he really could become Hokage.'

Naruto's growth and performance in battle left Kakashi deeply impressed.

But if his abilities hadn't changed like this, if Yuto and the 'scientific ninja tools' like the phone hadn't appeared, perhaps Naruto would have only been able to fight as he did in the storyline.

Perhaps Kakashi himself would still be using Kamui with one eye, carving a few dog heads on an earth wall before collapsing in exhaustion, slowly recovering his Chakra.

After watching this part of the storyline, Kakashi found himself deeply affected by the intense battle scenes.

Even though his mind remained calm and clear, his body couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement, as if he had been thrust into the battle himself.

So engrossed in the story, Kakashi had even tuned out the noisy environment around him, completely immersed in the narrative centered on Naruto.

By this point, he was starting to understand why Yuto had chosen Naruto, a seemingly ordinary kid, as the initial 'protagonist.'
