Chapter 100 - Nocturna Vastoria (100)

1920 – Sixteen Years After Gabriel's Death

Gabriel had a lot of work to do. In the five or so years since the Malnacidos were formed, he quickly realized that throwing Hollows and humans into the same squad was a recipe for disaster.

The Malnacidos needed their own unit.

So, he created a dedicated Malnacidos squad, giving them their own training grounds, missions, and chain of command.

At first, they only fought other Hollows, but to prevent mass casualties, he made sure there was always a Sin or a Lesser Sin on the battlefield to ensure they didn't die stupidly.

Over the next five years, integration happened gradually.

Some Malnacidos grew strong enough to match Adjuchas-class Hollows. A few even awakened new powers, evolving beyond what they originally were. And, surprisingly, an Arrancar had a kid with a Fullbringer.

Gabriel took one look at the kid and went: "Not my problem."

Also, he had to tell Lilith that the Malnacidos were off-limits for her "games."

She pouted.

She sulked.

She got over it.

Mostly.

Fun fact—the kid was hers.

Another fun fact—she somehow got married. How? How?!

The most surprising fact... she was loyal.

This baffled Gabriel. You do not turn someone like her into a loyal girl so easily. What kind of magic, tomfoolery did her husband pull?

A Week Later...

Gabriel lay sprawled on his bed, everything in his kingdom running smoothly.

Sun-Sun, in her snake form, was wrapped around him, snug and content.

She had grown stronger—now a mid-tier Captain-level fighter. Or, as he liked to classify it: high Lesser Sin level, low Sin level.

Meaning?

She could hold her own.

And he liked that.

Meanwhile, Harribel lay on his chest, completely spent.

Her hair was a mess.

Her legs were jelly.

Gabriel ran a hand through her golden locks, grinning.

He loved being king.

Any problem that popped up? Crushed.

Any threats to his rule? Erased.

And now, he was in bed with a smoking-hot wife and a snake concubine with no gag reflex.

Let him repeat himself—no fucking gag reflex.

Do you know the kind of shit you can do with that? Especially when she's in her snake form? Which, to be fair, doing the freaky in Resurrección happened often enough.

He felt very satisfied.

But that did not matter now—not the fact that he had a hot wife.

"Life is good," he muttered to himself.

Truly, he was at his peak.

But deep down, he knew—

It wouldn't always be sunshine and rainbows.

The world was changing.

The chances that this could be brutally taken away from him—like his father was—motivated him to try harder, to strive for more than he already had.

He wanted more. He needed to get stronger.

For his hot wife.

For his people.

For his kingdom.

And he would.

POV Shift – Ryouma Michibane

Ryouma woke up, stretched, and rolled out of bed.

The morning routine was simple.

Eat breakfast.Go to the mission center.Get assigned a mission.Exterminate Hollows with his Arrancar companion.Hit the gym and spar to improve his Fullbring.

That day, after wrapping up his mission, he sat in the cafeteria with another Malnacido, eating and chatting.

"Man," his companion said, "I still can't believe this is real. No stress of being hunted, no one treating us like monsters. Just work, training, and good food."

Ryouma smirked. "And protection for our families. That part still gets me."

It was true.

Gabriel had made it clear—the families of his people were under his protection.

No Fullbringer ever had to fear for their loved ones again.

Ryouma leaned back in his seat, looking around the bustling cafeteria, surrounded by people like him.

This was a good deal.

And he was glad he took it.

His family was being protected. There were some Arrancar stationed near them, wearing Gigai to act like normal humans but keeping an eye on them.

Hmm... maybe he could visit them again. He missed his wife.

He had paid leave.

Yes, they got paid.

Since they were human and all that, Gabriel knew money was important, so he may or may not have offered some very corrupt billionaires... deals.

He was like a demon, offering them shit like longer lives or restoring their youthful appearance in exchange for money.

Easy deal.

So hey, now the Fullbringers who were part of the Malnacidos were fine. They had good-ass job conditions.

They got paid in human cash and also prestige—so hey, there was that.

Ryouma had enough prestige to take a week off, go back home, have some fun with his wife, and return to work.

With his Fullbring, he could not take damage. He had negated the concept of damage altogether. And while in Hueco Mundo, his Fullbring received a buff.

He quite liked it here.

A/N...since this is chapter 100, here the usual info dump, and how he has upgraded Hueco Mundo over the last 16 years or so.

The Hollow Metropolis – Nocturna Vastoria

Since Las Noches was never meant to house an ever-growing empire, Gabriel did what no Hollow King before him even considered—he built a city to house his ever-expanding Hollow civilization.

This city, standing as a symbol of his dominance and innovation, is called Nocturna Vastoria—the Crown of Hueco Mundo.

📍 Location & Purpose:

Positioned near Las Noches, Nocturna Vastoria acts as the heart of Gabriel's empire and serves as its true capital.

Unlike Las Noches, which serves as the seat of power for the strongest, Nocturna Vastoria is where Hollows of all levels can exist, train, and evolve under his rule.

It is the safest place for weak Hollows, protected by Gabriel's forces.

🏙️ City Layout & Key Features1. The Colossus Wall

A massive circular wall of condensed Reishi, stretching miles in every direction, enclosing the city.

Hollows with weak Reiatsu can't pass through unless they are allowed in. This prevents random Gillians or Adjuchas from slaughtering the weak inside.

The only entrance is through The Gate of Dominion, guarded by Gabriel's strongest warriors.

2. The Blood Sand Districts

Different areas of the city are separated into "districts," organized based on strength and purpose.

The Lower Districts: For weak Hollows, a space where they can grow without constantly fighting for survival.

The Middle Districts: For Adjuchas and strong Gillians, filled with training grounds and battle pits.

The High Districts: For Arrancar, Nephilim, and Elite Hollows, near the city's core.

3. The Hollow Sanctuaries

A unique concept for Hueco Mundo, Gabriel created sanctuaries where weaker Hollows could consume spiritual energy from the city itself, preventing them from being mindless cannibals.

These places act as controlled feeding grounds, designed to accelerate growth without mass slaughter.

4. The Crucible of Evolution (Training Grounds)

The strongest training grounds in Hueco Mundo, where Hollows fight, spar, and undergo forced evolution.

Elite Hollows and Nephilim act as trainers, forcing weaker ones to surpass their limits.

Features a simulated Garganta environment, allowing Arrancars to train for dimensional battles.

5. The Throne of Dominion (Gabriel's Palace)

Unlike Barragan, who sat in Las Noches, Gabriel built his own massive fortress within Nocturna Vastoria, making it the true seat of power.

Las Noches now serves as a military stronghold, while Nocturna Vastoria is the empire's center.

🛡️ Military & Defense

The Nephilim Corps patrol the city, ensuring that no rogue Hollows attempt to destabilize it.

The Sins & Horsemen oversee certain districts, maintaining the balance of power.

👑 What Nocturna Vastoria Represents

A structured empire, something no Hollow King before Gabriel ever accomplished.

A place where Hollows can grow strong without chaos and cannibalism being their only method.

The first true civilization in Hueco Mundo, making Gabriel more than just a ruler—he's an Emperor.

With Nocturna Vastoria established, Gabriel's rule has evolved beyond mere conquest.

He's not just the King of Hueco Mundo.

He's building a dynasty.

Military/copsNephilim Corps: The Hollow-Shinigami Hybrids

Gabriel, in his twisted brilliance, has created a new breed of warriors—the Nephilim Corps.

By kidnapping Shinigami, destroying their souls while keeping their bodies intact, and forcibly Hollowfying them, he has birthed a fusion of Hollow and Shinigami abilities in a way that neither Aizen nor Urahara ever achieved.

Process of Creating a Nephilim:

Capture a Shinigami: Preferably a Vice-Captain or higher, but even low-ranking ones will do.

Destroy Their Soul: The Shinigami's soul is forcibly erased, leaving behind a lifeless but intact spiritual body.

Forced Hollowfication: The empty shell is then exposed to a controlled Hollowfication process, similar to what Aizen did to Shinji's group, but without a soul resisting it.

Week-Long Adaptation: The Hollow gradually gains complete control over the body, fully syncing with it. The process is so deep that:

Some Nephilim retain their Hollow mask fragments.

Their body permanently adjusts to wielding a Zanpakuto as if it were their own.

Abilities of a Nephilim:

1. Dual Evolution – Bankai & Resurrección Simultaneously

Each Nephilim wields a Zanpakuto, but since they are also Hollow, they can use Resurrección as well.

They can activate both Bankai and Resurrección at the same time, creating a monstrous, overpowered transformation.

This drains them insanely fast, but for short bursts? They become absolute monsters.

2. Mastery of Kido

Since they retain the Shinigami body's memory, they can cast Kido up to high-level spells, including Hado 90+ and Bakudo 80+.

Unlike Visoreds, their Hollow power enhances their spellcasting rather than interfering with it.

3. Hollow Abilities Enhanced by Shinigami Precision

Sonido & Shunpo Hybrid: Their movement technique combines both Sonido's explosiveness and Shunpo's precision, making them insanely fast.

Cero-Kido Fusion: They can combine Kido with Cero, unleashing destructive Cero-enhanced Hado spells that explode on impact.

4. Hierarchical Loyalty System

All Nephilim are directly under Gabriel's command.

They are used as his elite enforcers, executioners, and warlords, ranking just below the Sins and Horsemen.

Each Nephilim operates as a one-man army.

Weaknesses:

Insane Power Drain: Using both Bankai & Resurrección together burns through their energy at a ridiculous rate. They can't sustain it for long without collapsing.

Mental Instability: The fusion process is not perfect. Some of the earlier Nephilim suffer from identity conflicts, hallucinations, or unstable Hollow instincts.

Not True Shinigami: While they have a Zanpakuto, some of them lack an inner spirit since they were never true Shinigami. Their Bankai is based purely on instinct rather than spiritual connection.

Significance of the Nephilim Corps:

Gabriel has created the perfect soldiers—warriors who wield the power of Hollows and Shinigami simultaneously without being restricted by either.

If the Visoreds were incomplete hybrids, and Arrancars were imperfect fusions, then the Nephilim Corps are the ultimate evolution—Shinigami bodies inhabited by Hollow souls, completely synchronized.

The Arena of the Eternal Maw (La Fauce Eterna)

Deep within Gabriel's domain lies a colossal, battle-scarred coliseum known as La Fauce Eterna—The Arena of the Eternal Maw. It is a brutal proving ground where the strong rise, the weak are trampled, and bloodlust is both currency and entertainment.

Purpose & Rules

Hollow Bloodsport: The arena serves as a training ground and battleground where hollows test their strength, hone their skills, and indulge in their violent instincts without the fear of being devoured outright.

Non-Lethal Combat (Usually): Killing is not encouraged during casual fights, but it's also not outright forbidden—a hollow that kills another just has to be prepared for revenge matches.

Challenge for the Seven Sins: Once a year, a Lesser Sin or ambitious underling may officially challenge the current Primary Sin for their title.

One-on-One Battle: No outside interference.

No Time Limit: The fight continues until one submits, is incapacitated, or is killed.

Victor Claims the Title: The loser is stripped of their position, and if they survive, they are thrown back into the ranks as a common soldier.

Design & Features

Endless Shifting Terrain: The arena is built inside a living, shifting Hollow, causing the battlefield to constantly change shape—new obstacles, sinking sands, jagged spikes, and unpredictable hazards force combatants to adapt.

Reishi-Charged Spectator Stands: The seats are made of condensed spiritual energy, allowing even weaker Hollows to absorb ambient reishi so they don't deteriorate while watching fights.

The Maw's Judgment: In extreme cases, if a fight drags on too long or violates the rules, the arena itself will swallow both combatants whole—banishing them to an endless void dimension from which no one has ever returned.

Culture & Status

Prestige & Honor: Victories in the arena bring respect, status, and potential promotions within Gabriel's army.

Legendary Fights: Some battles go down in Hollow history, with warriors becoming icons in the eternal cycle of dominance and survival.

The Throne of Sin: Every battle for a Sin's title becomes a monumental event, drawing in the strongest of Hollows to witness history being rewritten.

Nicknames & Sayings

"To enter La Fauce Eterna is to gamble with your existence."

"The strong feast, the weak kneel, and the arena never forgets."

"One fight in the Maw can change your fate forever."
