The party went wild.
Drinks were served, some people may or may not have fought, some people may or may not have gotten wasted, and Starrk may or may not have chugged a whole fountain of alcohol.
This was just the past. We don't talk about the past like that.
Gabriel had allowed the party to get like this to let the Sins relax, to give his people some form of reprieve. Granted, the next day, it would be right back to the grind of slaughtering thousands of Hollows.
But hey, it was the thought that counted... all of this to say... he, in fact, could not keep his hands to himself.
And this was why he could now be seen covering his wife under the covers.
He sighed to himself. The demonic art of backshots truly was heavenly.
Anyway, he touched his head and removed the memory of how having sex with her felt.
He kind of did that, like, once a year, for a very particular reason. He knew his wife, and he knew he loved her—a lot.
However, he didn't know what kind of person he would be in the future.
TL;DR, he did this to never really get bored of her, so his cursed-ass mind couldn't come up with an excuse for that.
Granted, yes, he could have a harem, but managing more than three girls plus his wife would be a stretch.
He wanted, like, 50% or more of his affection to be for his one true wife—his chocolate milk, one might even say.
So hey, next time they did it, for his dick, it would be a brand-new feeling, even for his brain. Even if he himself knew, chances are, the number of times he had plowed his wife was no longer in the double digits.
Well, who cared? While she slept, recovering from the thunderous backshots, he had stuff to do.
Moments later, he found himself in his throne room, Sun-Sun comfortably seated on his lap as she delivered her report.
Because, of course, she was.
He didn't mind.
She was soft, smelled nice, and had an entertaining sense of humor. If she wanted to turn his lap into her personal seat while discussing war logistics, who was he to stop her?
"So," she began, her voice smooth like silk, "our army continues to grow. The city's construction is going well, but Soul Society's defenses are tightening. Their patrols are increasing, and our corpse supply is slowing down drastically."
That was to be expected. He had been snatching Shinigami for quite some time now.
If Soul Society wasn't dumb, they would notice their own were getting jumped.
Gabriel hummed. That meant fewer bodies for him to research, and fewer corpses to study meant fewer potential Nephilim being added to their army.
Annoying, but expected. Soul Society wasn't dumb—they were catching on.
Sun-Sun tilted her head playfully. "By the way, I think I deserve a reward for my wonderful job~."
Without missing a beat, Gabriel pressed a kiss to her lips.
She blinked in surprise before letting out a soft, amused chuckle. "Oh? That was rather bold." She actually liked it—very much.
"You wanted a reward. I delivered," he said softly.
She teased him about how eager he was, but honestly, she could do whatever she wanted. He was living the dream.
Here he was, practically the King of Hell, with a hot wife and a snake lady as a concubine.
How neat.
But then, her tone shifted slightly—still playful, but with an edge of intrigue. "I almost forgot. I managed to catch some Shinigami."
"Shinigami? Lieutenant-tier?" Though catching Shinigami was not part of her duty.
She nodded, watching his reaction closely.
He wondered how she had caught some Shinigami.
Sun-Sun leaned in, her lips brushing against his ear as she whispered her next words. "I found them attacking a group of humans."
Shinigami... hunting humans... the fuck?
That didn't make any damn sense.
He narrowed his eyes. "Shinigami don't attack humans." That was what he knew from all the knowledge he had gained from absorbing so many Hollows and from the Shinigami he tortured.
That wasn't their job.
She smirked. "Well, these ones did. And like the hero I am, I saved the poor little humans from their evil clutches~."
Gabriel let out a long-suffering sigh and gave her a flat look. "You don't care about humans. You just wanted to capture the Shinigami."
She pressed a kiss to his Adam's apple, grinning. "You know me so well~."
Of course, he did.
"Fine," he muttered. "You did good. What do you want?"
Her eyes gleamed mischievously. "I want Sin-level access to the training area."
Gabriel raised an eyebrow. "You're trying to get stronger?" He wondered if she perhaps had a goal for all of this.
Oh well, he would find out later.
She nodded. "I want to learn how to fully master my strength." That, in fact, was a very valid reason to want to get stronger.
Gabriel exhaled through his nose. She didn't need to go through all these roundabout schemes just to ask for access. She could've just said so.
But whatever. He wasn't going to deny her.
Reaching into his robes, he pulled out a keycard and handed it to her.
She beamed at him, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. "You're the best."
He grinned. "I know."
She was going to leave the others behind at this point.
A/N...For anyone who still doesn't get why Sun-Sun was added, she is part of the Tres bestia....she is a snake woman...Gabriel is the king of hell...she is a snake...part of the 3 beasts.
If somehow this shit still flying over your head, then....dam.
I tried.
