On the other side of the messages, and where the computer room was, Logan was knocked out cold, drool coming out of his mouth. Vicky just finished putting on her clothes, and looked over to her husband.
"Yeesh, maybe I shouldn't have done all of that." Vicky giggled to herself.
She sent a ship to arrive at Sil and Linda's location immediately, and walked over to her husband. He was still limp, and his eyes were still open. It was honestly freaking her out a little.
"Hey, are you uh…" Vicky nudged her barely conscious husband with her foot, "You good?"
After a few moments of waiting for Logan to do something, she became a little impatient, and, without thinking much further on it, Vicky decided to kick Logan. She accidentally used too much force as his body smacked into a nearby server. At first, Vicky was seriously worried that she accidentally hurt her husband, until she heard that Logan had moaned from her kick.
"M-more…" Logan audibly mumbled.
Vicky let out a sigh of relief, before picking him up and carrying him over her shoulder. It was honestly a little careless to hurt her husband like that, even if he was into it. She really should've thought about it more.
She nervously laughed before whispering,"Come on big guy, I've done enough. Sorry for kicking you."
Logan just mumbled in response, and Vicky left for his room. Setting down on his bed, she really took in how much Logan's body had changed over the years. As it was now, his right arm was that of the dalki arm that he cut off for Peter, and the other was a top of the line cybernetic prosthetic replacement. The bottom half of his legs had also been replaced, along with general parts of his torso.
Most people wouldn't opt for cybernetic replacements as it was hard for an ability to really be controlled with one such as the earth or electricity ability. MC cells weren't found in bionic parts, which was how humans even could control their abilities. Logan was lucky enough that his ability was very compatible with technology, and any losses in how much MC cells he had in his body was more than made up for using his nest crystal.
She still remembered the first time that she accidentally went too far when she and Logan were in their early relationship. Vicky had accidentally injured a part of his body, but he was surprisingly okay with it all things considered. It worked out that he was into it, and already knew what he wanted to replace it with. He had no losses with his ability.
How 'lucky' was it that she hadn't had to face any consequences for going too far?
Not only that, but she had just remembered that her son was out somewhere doing who knows what. Vicky smacked herself, feeling stupid for getting too caught up in her mood to even care for her own flesh and blood.
"Stupid… I should've…." Vicky whispered to herself, but she had to keep it in. This wasn't the time.
Right now, she would search for Jake.
—
Jake was stuck. His teleportation abilities, while very high in level, were not very good in his hands. He was but a simple baby with a baby's mind.
He then proceeded to make a bunch of baby noises. Combining the telekinesis and Logan's ability, he contorted the environment around him into a mechanical suit that covered his legs. What Jake was in was actually a washing machine… at least what was left of it. His mechanical suit's shape covered the bottom half of his body, with 2 dangly legs sticking out.
Jake then proceeded to start running around, knocking things over. Eventually, he came across Vicky's mountain dew collection and commanded a bunch of them to fly into the air. Before he was about to open one up to start drinking, Vicky ran into the room.
"There you are!" Vicky yelled as she pointed at her baby.
At those words, Jake went into his mech suit that really looked like an egg with legs. A vintage mountain dew drink landed on top of the egg and sprinted away.
Vicky put qi into her legs as she began running after him. The two ran down the halls. Jake knocked over a table, but Vicky jumped over it. After running through a few different rooms, Jake was cornered in a . He turned around and saw his mom right there.
"That's it," Vicky cracked her knuckles, "I'm taking your ass to baby jail."
Jake then proceeded to teleport elsewhere, completely disappearing from her sights. Vicky frantically looked around, and teleported around the house looking for him. The Green mansion mostly had robotic assistants, but there were a few human servants for a few reasons such as the fact that humans could do certain things that the robots couldn't. There was also the fact that Vicky personally requested a few human servants so she could copy their abilities.
While teleporting around the mansion, she was struggling to find Jake, making her worry greatly about his whereabouts.
"Man, I'm such a bad mom…." Vicky muttered, "If Pai were to see me…"
'He'd definitely make some snide comment about it,' She finished the sentence with her thoughts.
Eventually, she teleported into the room where she left Logan, still asleep from his pleasure coma. Vicky was about to teleport away, until she heard her husband shuffle in bed, and saw him rise out of bed slowly.
"Hmmmm…. Wmere's our son…?" Logan muttered before falling back asleep.
Vicky suddenly got very angry and ran over to him, gripping his shoulders and shaking him furiously.
"WAKE UP, WAKE UP, WAKE UP, WAKE UP," She screamed to him, "HELP ME FIND HIM!"
Logan, however, was drooling, completely unresponsive. To get him to wake up, Vicky started slapping him.
"Hwwah- WHAT-?!" Logan's eyes were now wide open, and he protected himself from the slapping, "I'm awake! I'm awake!"
Vicky let go, "You gotta help me find Jake, he's your son too!"
"What happened to the robots I sent to find him?" Logan asked.
"I think I distracted you before you could send them."
"Oh. That is bad," Logan said nonchalantly.
"Well, shouldn't you do something? He keeps teleporting."
Logan then pressed a few buttons on his arm before a computer dropped from the ceiling and into his lap, "This time, I'll send more robots after him. I can detect where he is from scanning the mansion of life forms, specifically small life energies."
Vicky let out a sigh of relief, and looked at the computer screen. The machine was easily able to differentiate the servants from Jake.
"He's in the 1st floor's left wing hallway," Logan said.
Vicky nodded and teleported there.
It was a room that had several paintings, walls that were painted white with gold accents, and a dark wooden floor. It would've come off as rather formal and rich, except there were a bunch of crayon marks all over the walls. Jake, of course, held the crayons in his hands.
Vicky teleported next to him, and quickly grabbed Jake before he could do anything.
"Got you!" Vicky exclaimed.
With Jake in her grasp, he couldn't teleport without also teleporting her. Not like he could at this point with how very little MC cells he had left. Vicky then decided to walk back to the room Logan was at. She could've teleported there if she wanted to, but she felt like spending a bit more time with her son.
"You're a little artist, huh?" Vicky whispered to him, recalling the scribbles on the walls.
"Beh." Was all Jake could say.
"Gonna be troublesome when you grow up," She smiled before blowing a raspberry on his belly button, causing him to laugh.
'What a sweet little baby,' Vicky thought.
Eventually, the two came to Logan's bedroom, and Jake was fast asleep. All that running around and causing chaos was tiring for such a little guy.
