It was 30 minutes later was where we see the Tokyo group of Jujutsu High, with Izuku simply sighing while he was in a kneeling position, holding a frame.
"Come on guys, are you seriously not talking to me? I told you it wasn't my choice. Gojo-sensei and Nanami-sensei insisted that I not tell anyone." Izuku said apologetically.
With Junpei, Himiko and Ryõba in prayer poses, paying their respects to Izuku who simply gave them a blank look at their actions while Sukuna was laughing within his mind.
"Yeah, what's up with that, Toge, Maki? It's not like we ever met this guy before today, why are you two cross with him?" Panda asked incredulously.
"Bonito Flakes." Toge said, shaking his head in the negative, denying that he had any ill will towards the four teens.
"What? What am I supposed to say to them? We literally don't know anything about them. I neither hate em or like em, they're just people that I just met." Maki said with a bored tone.
"Okay, listen, since nobody's talking, I'm going to talk then. I don't know anything about the Kyoto students, but I noticed one of them has a broom. Since jujutsu sorcery is as close to witchcraft as anything I've ever seen I think it's safe to say that that's a flying broom stick, which means that she's probably their scout. I think we should let Junpei go after her and take her out before she either identifies the location of the Grade 2 Curse Spirit or identifies our location. Junpei is the best man for the job seeing as he can fly too with his Moon Dregs." Izuku suggested.
"That would be a good idea...but why not you? I'm sure you can handle her" Panda asked, confused.
"True... but I'm also the muscle. Like I said, I don't know anything about the Kyoto students, but that Todo guy seems like he is their muscle. He seems dangerous somehow. There's just something about him, which is why I think I should handle him if we end up running into the Kyoto team anyway." Izuku replied.
'The muscle? Well, sure he is, definitely, but he's also an excellent scout with numerous ways to figure out any sort of situation...so Why didn't he disclose that? Is it because he doesn't trust the second years yet? He doesn't seem to have met them before today so I guess that makes sense.' Junpei thought.
"You're right. There was an incident last year known as the Night Parade of a Hundred Demons, where thousands of curse spirits were unleashed in Kyoto and Shinjuku. In that incident, Todo defeated a Special Grade cursed spirit and five other grade 1 spirits on his own. So yes, Todo is extremely dangerous. In fact, before you turned up, our main concern was that he alone could wipe us all out. So we had a strategy where Megumi would play the sacrificial role and hold off Todo while we focus on exorcising the grade 2 cursed spirit. But if you really are a special grade jujutsu sorcerer, then you can not only hold Todo off, but you can actually defeat him right? At least, in theory." Maki asked curiously.
"My brother was close to defeating two special grade curses on his own, one of which was one of the two that got away from Gojo himself. Todo would lose in literally 0.000001 seconds if my brother went all out, but even if he doesn't go all out, he should win comfortably." Junpei replied confidently.
"I see. Heh, hehehe! Then this should be a piece of cake!" Maki said confidently.
"Salmon Roe!" Toge said with a confident thumbs up.
"Sorry Megumi, I know you really wanted to fight Todo but this seems like the more logical choice. Plus, having one scout on the ground and one in the air is better than just having two up in the air you have to admit." Maki said apologetically.
"No, it's fine. I don't mind. So long as we win this event." Megumi said calmly.
"Damn you're so low key it's quite frankly disturbing." Maki said with a weirded out facial expression, Megumi however just barely registering her words as he didn't seem to care all that much.
That was when Nobara decided to intervene, "Wait a minute, about those two? What's their role in all of this?" She asked while pointing at Ryõba and Himiko with the duo looking over to Izuku, who sighed a bit.
"Well no better than the present, hey Maki-San, how about a spar since it looks like you're a weapon user" Izuou said with Maki giving the boy a look but held a smirk on her face.
"Well now, you've got me intrigued first year" Maki said with both Panda and Toge being worried for the boy meanwhile Junpei was sighing a bit since he couldn't help but shiver, remembering the spars he had with Izuku.
It only them a few minutes to reach one of the fields that had just enough space with those who were gonna watch the spar with thise who prayed that they don't over do it.
Meanwhile Izuku, Ryõba, Himiko and Maki were on the field with the Male first year facing his upperclassmen who simple held a staff.
"Before we start, have you ever done any sword training before?" Maki asked as she spun her staff around before getting into a fighting stance.
Izuku chuckled when stretching his arms, "I would be a idiot if I didn't get the grasp of learning it but yes, I did a bit of sword training" He said.
"Good, saves me the trouble of feeling disappointed so let's see how good you are first year." The girl said with a grin.
Izuku turned his attention towards the girls which got Maki and others minus Junpei to wonder what Izuku was gonna do until he said these words.
"Be of use to me, Ryõba, Himiko"
As soon as he said those words both girls simply grinned as their bodies glowed in a bright light which got the rest of the teens minus Junpei to widen their eyes at the scene before them as they saw Izuku now wielding two katana's in each of his hand while taking a breath, the boy went into the Niten Ichi-ryū sword stance, Maki got out of surprised phase as she focused on the boy, who now had a serious look on his face.
[KYOTO SCHOOL TEAM MEETING]
"Sukuna's vessel… kill Izuku Midoriya," Gakuganji ordered with a grim face. "That is not a human. You can do whatever. I'll treat it as an accident. No need to worry or hesitate."
Miwa looked hesitant, her thoughts unspoken. 'I don't want to…'
Mai interjected, "Regardless of whether we can kill him or not, he's here because he didn't die, right?"
"I heard that he committed suicide," Gakuganji replied. "What do you need to pay attention to when killing a Jujutsu Sorcerer?"
Kamo quickly answered, "To prevent Jujutsu Sorcerers from becoming curses after death, we kill them with cursed energy."
Gakuganji nodded in agreement. "That's right. There will be no problem if you kill him with cursed energy. Now Izuku Midoriya has control over the body. As long as Sukuna doesn't appear and it doesn't even matter what rank he is, he's just a normal first-year student. It's easy to kill—"
Suddenly, Todo kicked the Shoji screen, destroying it effortlessly. "Lame. Do as you like," he said roughly as he turned to leave the room.
"Todo, come back," Kamo ordered calmly. "The principal is not finished yet."
Todo turned around, his face menacing. "Takada will make a guest appearance on the 11:00 a.m. walking show. Do I need to explain further?"
Kamo's expression turned stern. "Just record the show. Come back."
"I want to watch both the premiere and the recording!" Todo yelled. "Are you looking down on me?" He threatened.
'That's not the point,' Mai thought.
"Listen carefully, you too, old man!" Todo declared, pointing a finger at them. "I've long been disappointed in everyone's poor taste in women. Just use whatever strategy you want. However, try giving me another order..."
Todo's voice grew menacing as he continued, "I'll kill you." His eyes bulged with a fierce intensity.
"What should we do?" Miwa asked hesitantly. "It seems that he's not going to participate in our battle strategy. The principal is gone too. To be honest, I don't want to be killed by him."
Nishimiya interjected, "It should be okay. That guy's going to fight the Tokyo guys either way. Since he wants to go rampant, we just need to focus on the game."
Mai chimed in, "But we have to kill Izuku Midoriya."
We're seriously doing this?' Miwa thought with exasperation.
Mai added, "I don't think he's going to kill him. Although it looks like he might kill him."
Mechamaru spoke in his mechanical voice, "Then we have to keep an eye on Todo and deal a fatal blow to Izuku Midoriya."
'I don't want to do it!' Miwa exclaimed inwardly. She voiced out, "Since we have to deal with Cursed Spirits too, I think two-on-one is just right."
Kamo spoke firmly, "No. Among the Jujutsu Sorcerers of Jujutsu High School, the appearance of a half-baked person like Izuku Midoriya is extremely serious. Regardless of the Goodwill Event, I can't turn a blind eye as a member of Kamo Family. Everyone from Kyoto School will attack Izuku Midoriya"
Nishimiya raised her hand, "Wait a minute."
"What if Midoriya-kun and Inumaki-kun are together?" she asked. "It's too risky for us since his Cursed Speech can take us all out at once. At worst, we might get wiped out."
"That's true," Mechamaru nodded in agreement.
Kamo shook his head, "No. If you know he's coming, he's not that scary to face."
"I'll take care of Maki," Mai offered confidently. "Give me that brown-haired first-year student too."
Kamo said with a stern expression, "Listen to what you say. You're starting to sound like Todo."
Mai gritted her teeth in irritation at the comparison to Todo.
"So, what do you want to talk about?" Utahime asked, her voice steady and composed.
Gojo glanced at her with a hint of confusion in his tone. "What? Why are you angry?"
"I'm not angry," Utahime replied, her frown deepening.
"That's right, I didn't do anything," Gojo retorted, his tone laced with sarcasm.
Utahime gritted her teeth in frustration, her irritation evident.
In a serious tone, Gojo revealed, "Someone in Jujutsu High School is colluding with Cursed Users or Cursed Spirits."
Utahime couldn't hide her disbelief as she exclaimed, "Impossible! I can understand colluding with Cursed Users, but Cursed Spirits?"
Gojo said solemnly. "Recently, Cursed Spirits of that level have been emerging. They aren't just mindless creatures. They can understand and communicate with each other, even acting in groups. The person we're dealing with may believe they are only colluding with Cursed Users."
Taking a calm sip of his tea, Gojo continued, "That's why I want you to help me investigate the Kyoto campus."
"What if I'm the mole?" Utahime asked, her voice tinged with uncertainty.
Gojo grinned, waving his hand dismissively. In a mischievous tone, he replied, "No way~ You're weak, and you don't have the guts—"
Utahime's anger surged, causing her to hurl her cup of tea towards Gojo's face. However, the liquid didn't even come close to touching him, thanks to his infinity technique.
"Scary! No man likes a fierce woman!" Gojo teased playfully.
"I-AM-YOUR-SENIOR!" Utahime retorted, her voice filled with exasperation.
It was during this time was where see both Izuku and Maki looked to be breathing heavily with the former simply smiling at the girl, " I guess we should call this a tie?"
He said while both of his katana's returned to their human like forms with Maki gritting her teeth, "Hmph, you're lucky we got a event to win....so let's call this a draw for now, but I'm hoping for a rematch" She said while giving the boy a smirk of her own.
They then walk back to the group with them giving a bit of feedback on the performance they just witness with a bit of teasing that came from the 2nd years.
Izuku meanwhile fist bumped Junpei with Himiko and Ryõba talking amongst themselves.
Izuku then went over to his friends, "Well we know what our roles our....so let's do this" he said this with a smile with Megumi nodding his head while having a small smile form on his face with Nobara cheering, "It will be a complete victory! Let's beat them up! For Maki-san's sake too!"
Maki interjected sternly, "Don't say that."
"Spicy cod roe!"
"Yes, for the sake of Maki!" Panda added, teasingly echoing Nobara's words.
Maki's annoyance grew, and she exclaimed, "I said, stop it!"
This got Izuku to laugh, "Alright then, let's win this! For Maki!"
"For Maki!" Junpei, Himiko and Ryõba joined in which got Maki to ran after the four teens who simply laughed.
