Chapter 51 - 51) Cumulonimbus

"Is this the skill level of the Southern Revolution? My oh my….how the strong have fallen. Has Oroc gone senile finally?" Luna poked at the two assassins who crawled away from her. Her green eyes glittered brightly with her hazel hair sitting on both sides of her face, most of it held together in a bun with a needle poking through.

"Oroc….that foolish old man has been slain a long time ago," the leader sounded more confident than the other assassin, who was a few seconds away from choking on her own tears and spit. For someone who was soon to meet his end, he spoke barely. There was a little bit of solace left for her after seeing the unyielding spirit of the Orcs still remained.

"..." Luna stayed quiet for a few seconds; her expression was sombre, and her fingertips quivered slightly. An earthy scent lingered in the air as the blood of the orcs remained splattered across the clearing.

"Cumulonimbus," she muttered under her breath. Every inch the Orcs moved, they were met with sparks that burned their skin. Above them, the clouds gathered into a singular enormous mass. It looked as if someone jumped high enough, they could touch the clouds.

The next second, a thundering bolt ripped through the air and dematerialized the two, turning them into fine powder, leaving nothing but a mark on the ground. At the same time, behind her, in the village, Luna could feel her Husband's aura oozing out at a tremendous pace. Perhaps in response to her desire to calm him down, the cumulonimbus now caused rain to pour down heavily.

"Wait for me," she said, looking at the village before vanishing. The path she took was sharp and precise, almost like she knew exactly where she had to go. Besides, now that it had begun to rain, the remaining member of the Southern Revolution would find it impossible to make it out safely while carrying an unconscious hostage.

Somewhere deep in the forest, around the same place where Luna and Drake fought off the random invaders, a man roughly in his late 20s and covered in all white cloth carried an unconscious Hina. His shifty eyes peeked through the slits left by the robes as he placed her down by a bush and hid behind a tree, making sure nobody followed him.

"Whatchu lookin at?" his eyes moved to the side to see who it was that stood behind him. Terror and pure fear overwhelmed his body as he reacted in a similar fashion to his colleagues. Two shiny emeralds of malice stared back at him in disgrace.

"Don't crawl away from me now. I'm not going to hurt you," she smiled while her eyes intently stared at her daggers sharpening each other. "You're coming with me,"

A few minutes of screaming and yelling later, the man was now barely conscious and tied up. Luna picked the girl up and began to walk towards the city. There was no point taking her back to the village, especially when she was closer to Thresh Old.

What business did the Southern Revolution have with this girl? In the first place, what caused the Southern Revolution to stray from its original path? They were once a group that focused on freeing the Orc nation and fighting for their rights, but now? They acted no differently than a rebel group that only cared for its own purpose.

These were some questions that still bothered Luna. Especially considering the fact that she and Drake were heavily involved with the original Southern Revolution and in the establishment of the Orc Nation.

"Muuurhhg." Hina groaned as she curled up in Luna's arms. It was rather awkward for her to carry someone while escorting the fake revolutionary. Other than the cloth she used to tie his hands up, Luna attached a string that was made of pure lightning. This was to thwart any attempt to run away. The string itself was a chain of sorts that wrapped around Luna's wrist and fit as a collar around his neck.

"What were you going to do with the child?"

"..."

She merely halted and yanked at the chain a little. A burning sensation ran through the revolutionary's entire body, leaving all the hair on his body standing. "W-w—e—e—" he struggled to speak until the shock finally settled down.

"We were….to extract her blood…" he replied as a little blood dribbled down his lips. The look of defeat and hopelessness in his eyes reassured her of his obedience.

"Fear Monger," a voice announced, and instantly every single monster near the House of Phoenix disintegrated. A giant shadow of what seemed like a demon loomed over the entire section. Its white eyes and purple body even haunted the monsters nearby, instantly rendering them immobile.

The spell was so strong that even the students began to cower in fear. Just then, a comet shot out into the sky and burst into a bright light. Tiny fragments of this same light fell all across Hexora.

"Be brave! Do not fear! This is our victory!" another voice yelled, and with it, the roars of the students followed. The light fragments restored their morale and countered any fear they may have felt from the previous spell used.

"It's the Professors! They're back! We did it!"

"Hold line! Do not break the front line at any cost!"

"Fools! Fall back! We don't want to be caught up in their spells!"

Chaos continued to ensue in Hexora until eventually replaced by the order the Professors enforced. It wasn't a war, nor was it a massacre. For the first time in a long time, Hexora had been attacked and infiltrated. There were no casualties, but the number of injured were touching 20.

Meanwhile, right at the conjoining area of the Houses of Draconis and Crypt, a large number of corpses lay scattered around resembling decorations on a cabinet during the winter. The stench of burning flesh mixed into an earthy scent lingered across the entire field.

Dio looked around, his eyes shifting from one spot to another until they landed on another familiar face, who unfortunately couldn't return the look. Blood mixed into her red hair, and her hands frail and lifeless. Alex lay there unconscious with her head on Jin's lap. Blue, a few feet behind them sitting on top of a few corpses with his sword dug deep into the body at the top.

Fainter and more broken words couldn't have escaped Dio's lips, the throbbing sensation in his head returning with the effect being exponentially greater than before. His heart felt like it was in his mouth, every pacing beat felt at the back of his throat.

"Alex…..?"
