Chapter 40 - The Interviews and Strategy

Chapter: The Interviews and Strategy

After several months of preparation, Ehito, Tilan, and Shina were ready. Their intense training had forged their bodies and minds, preparing them for their mission to infiltrate Ehito's security and defense company. Today marked a turning point in their strategy: the job interviews. These interviews were crucial for infiltrating the gangs responsible for Lia's death, and for that, they had to pass as adults. Although they were minors, they had done everything to appear older and more experienced than they really were.

In the morning, they arrived at one of the main buildings of Ehito's empire, an imposing complex with cold, modern design, symbolizing power and authority. Inside, the atmosphere was strict and professional, a perfect environment for their mission. Each of them had a specific role to play and knew they couldn't afford to fail.

Ehito's Interview: Military Operations Manager

Ehito was the one who had designed the entire operation. He was the strategist, the intellectual. His interview was critical, as he was going to meet the military operations manager, a key figure who handled the company's most strategic divisions. This position was crucial because this man also had ties to external groups, including the gangs they sought to dismantle.

The interview took place in a spacious room, with an imposing dark wood desk dominating the space. Across from him sat a man in his forties, with a stern gaze. He wore a perfectly tailored black suit, and his demeanor exuded undeniable authority. Yet, as soon as the first words were exchanged, Ehito realized that this man was just a pawn in a much larger game. He knew that in order to extract the information he sought, he had to demonstrate his expertise.

"So, young man, you're applying for the position of military operations manager. What drew you to this field?" the man asked.

Ehito looked the man in the eyes, his words measured and strategic. "Military strategy isn't just about combat. It's also about understanding an enemy's movements, predicting their actions, and neutralizing them before they happen. It's about vision."

The man appeared surprised by the response from such a young person, but he showed no outward sign of it. Ehito continued, outlining his vision for a cutting-edge defense company that could adapt to a constantly evolving world. His arguments were unassailable, each word carefully chosen to persuade.

By the end of the interview, the military operations manager raised an eyebrow. "Impressive, you have a vision that few adults even possess. We'll take a closer look at your file. I think you have a future here."

Ehito nodded, his calculating gaze never leaving the man. "I'm confident we can accomplish great things together."

Tilan's Interview: Internal Communications Manager

Tilan, the network and communications expert, had a role just as strategic. He had to manage the company's internal communications while also getting closer to the gang circles. Although he appeared younger, he knew how to manipulate systems and people to achieve his goals.

Tilan's interview took place with a recruiter, a man in his thirties who managed the company's internal communication flow. The room was smaller, but the atmosphere was just as professional. Tilan sat across from the recruiter, a slight smile on his lips, and began answering questions.

"What can you bring to internal network management?" the recruiter asked.

Tilan took a moment before responding, his voice calm and steady. "Communication networks are only effective when they are under constant control. An internal communications system isn't just about transmitting information; it must be monitored, secured, and optimized to be both fast and reliable. I can help make this system foolproof."

The recruiter nodded, intrigued by the answer. Tilan continued, mentioning examples of advanced technologies he had studied and how they could be adapted for a company like this one. He emphasized the importance of protecting sensitive data and the need to anticipate threats, even internal ones.

"I believe one of the greatest dangers to a company like ours doesn't always come from the outside, but from within. An internal vulnerability is much harder to spot, but that's where I can help," Tilan explained, his tone almost mysterious.

The recruiter seemed puzzled but impressed by Tilan's audacity and understanding. "We'll get back to you. Your profile interests us."

Shina's Interview: External Relations Manager

Shina, on the other hand, had a more discreet but equally important role: managing external relations, monitoring female contacts, and ensuring everything stayed under control. Her task was to gather information while staying out of the spotlight. She had to infiltrate social media networks, interact with business partners, and observe dynamics between groups.

Shina's interview was with a woman in her forties, who was in charge of external relations. The conversation began on a professional and light note. The recruiter asked Shina about her ability to maintain solid partnerships while overseeing important contracts.

"How do you handle a situation where a business partner doesn't uphold their commitments?" the recruiter asked, testing her response.

Shina answered calmly, a glimmer of confidence in her eyes. "I think it's crucial to maintain a balance between firmness and diplomacy. In business, it's important to understand that every relationship can evolve, but never at the cost of your own interests."

The recruiter smiled slightly. "You have a good approach. This is exactly what we're looking for."

A Combined Strategy

At the end of the day, Ehito, Tilan, and Shina reconvened in a private office, their personal space to discuss the next steps. Each of them had passed their interview, but this was just the beginning. The goal now was to integrate and monitor the evolution of operations within the company.

Tilan turned to his colleagues. "We've all passed the interviews successfully. Now we just have to wait for things to move."

Ehito, as always, remained impassive. "We need more than that. We have to be ready to seize every opportunity. Once inside, we'll have access to everything."

Shina nodded, her gaze determined. "We've crossed an important step, but the mission isn't over. Now we have to handle the information we gather with intelligence."

They exchanged one last look, all of them aware that their objectives were far from achieved, but now they had the means to accomplish them. The game was in motion.
