Chapter 47 - Chapter 47: Bloodlines

Chapter 47: Bloodlines

Authors note: I see a lot of people in the comments saying I have not changed anything with the plot a lot...well, I would like to say thats not true lmfao.

That being said, Idrh a need to address them, this is just to the people who supported the Weapon Style I made, some clarifications for you-

Yes, there will be smaller weapons as well not just swords.

Yes, there is potential there to reach the level of maybe the weakest form of base Madara. Any more with just Weapon Style? Its impossible.

Hope you guys have been enjoying the fic so far, since from here on out there basically isnt anything similar to the old one in my pov.

Happy readings!

...

Dinner with Ino was definitely something extremely entertaining.

Now that I was able to consider her as more than an NPC, it was nice to be able to actually just sit down and talk to someone.

Ever since I have been inside of this world, I have just been grinding and training, but for 1 meal I felt like I was inside of my old world, just talking to a friend.

"It was nice having dinner with you, Ino." I told her honestly since it was a pleasant time for me.

"It was nice for me too Shikomu, how about we do this a little more often?" She asked the second part as her voice went slightly smaller.

"Sure, I don't mind at all."

"Great, then find me tomorrow and take me somewhere new!" She squealed in slight excitement and then left.

I couldn't help but chuckle at her reaction which was cute, since all we did was eat dinner together.

The bar in the Ninja world was really on the ground huh.

"There you are!" I heard Yuki call out to me in panic as he reached me.

It seems like the rest of Team Naido has finally made it back to the Village after 2 weeks…

As he saw me, I realized that he was panicking massively. His entire face was filled with sweat and he seemed like his heart was beating at a million miles an hour.

"Not here." I signaled him to be quiet since we were in a public area with a lot of people around us.

He nodded while trying to calm down as he saw me motioning him to calm down.

And we soon reached our normal training location where he immediately began to ask me in a tone of panic.

"Shikomu, did you know about this before?" He asked as he grabbed my shoulders.

"No, I only found out after I had gotten my bloodline."

He paused for a second as he heard that, and I could tell what he was thinking.

"You wouldn't have believed me even if I told you, and you wouldn't have taken the S-rank quest." I told him.

"You could have tried, I might have awakened a way more important bloodline! If everyone in their world begins awakening high ranking bloodlines…"

"Yuki, you need to think about it more realistically." I told him. "The casual players won't even be able to attempt the B-rank quests, since most of them speedrun. You already know how hard most quests are, you just really lucked out."

"You're not wrong…"

After I calmed him down a little more, Yuki and I sat down on the floor and stared at the dark sky for a while.

He did mention that Ayumi also finished her quest and was also looking for me, so I sent a Shadow Clone to go and find her…

And so, after she joined us, and I calmed her down, we continued the conversation.

They both finished their missions over the past week, since they had been doing it for a while already.

"So what do we do?" Yuki questioned, looking towards me for advice on how to move forward.

"Well we know for sure that at least the top guilds know what is going on." I told them, to which he nodded, since what I said made sense.

"Higher ups of the world should also know, that is why they are selling the state of the art full dive pods for the cost price of manufacturing."

Ayumi nodded at that. The second she felt the changes inside of her body in the real world, she began to check how much the full dives pods cost.

"So we need to build our own forces. A group that is able to compete with the great guilds that have lasted since the start of the Apocalypse."

"And why is that?" Ayumi questioned.

"Everyone in the world is amassing weapons, we should obviously do the same. We don't have a right to ask questions unless we have guns as big or bigger than theirs." I told her.

"We need to get Ayumi a pod as well, you know." I told Yuki to which he frowned a little and seemed to go into thought.

Yuki had mentioned time and time again how his father wanted him to spend more time inside of the game…he now knew the reason why.

"My father clearly knows more than he is letting on. After talking to him, I will see what I can do about providing Ayumi with a pod."

I nodded at that.

"I appreciate your help." Ayumi replied. She didn't seem to be above receiving help when needed.

Good, at least she was mature. Seeing the end of the world approaching, if she still held onto pride and didn't want to receive help, I would have to reconsider her being on my side.

"Now that you know the truth, I hope that you can stick by my side." I told them to which Yuki smiled a little.

"Are you crazy? It is obvious you are keeping up with the top guilds as a solo-player. If we join them, we will just become one of many which won't get any information whatsoever. With you, as a leader, I know we will have control over what we both do."

At least they are much smarter than most people in this world.

"We definitely need to expand, and I have 2 names I would like to recommend." Ayumi told me

And as I heard those 2 names, I frowned a little…

"I need some time before I accept them, since they are a part of Gepo's squad. I don't know if I can just trust them." I mentioned.

"I understand your hesitation, all I ask is a chance for them. They are decent people." Ayumi plead their case for them.

"Anyways, now I would like to know about both of your bloodlines." I told them, switching the topic.

This would impact us a lot in the long run.

"I got the Haruno bloodline, since you mentioned to Yuki that this would probably increase my Chakra control and medical ninjutsu to an insane degree…it was the only option according to the path I wanted to follow in the A ranked list."

Sakura's bloodline huh…that was definitely a good thing.

War arc Sakura is definitely someone who would be amazing to have in the real world, even if it is kind of a copycat.

Also from my understanding, each player gets a different list of bloodlines. I might have gotten the only available S rank bloodlines for the Leaf?

Maybe other village players have other S rank bloodlines?

If that was the case, the leaf would have the most amount of S rank bloodlines.

But I needed more information to know this for sure.

"That is a good choice. Your Chakra control should increase drastically..but your chakra quantity will be an issue."

Sakura was able to solve that issue with the Yin Seal, of the strength of the 100 seals.

And one of the only way to get that Jutsu would be to under Tsunade's tutelage.

Ayumi nodded, hoping that following my directive was a smart idea.

"I got the Kurama bloodline…as you told me, it significantly impacts my Genjutsu. I can instinctively use my bloodline." Yuki explained.

Kurama bloodline…that was an amazing choice.

That being said, how did he already feel about how to use the bloodline?

I definitely need to find out how to use my Uzamaki clan skills…

Either way I was happy with my allies bloodlines.

"How much EXP is it for you to become an Elite Jonin, Yuki?"

"It is 1000 EXP for my Chakra, and 3000 EXP for my physique." Yuki said, to which I couldn't help but frown…

First of all, that was a substantial amount more than me.

Secondly, why were both the statistics different values.

Ayumi seemed shocked as well.

"My Chakra and Physique both require 1500 EXP."

Right…so it was official.

Depending on one's bloodline, one's talent was selected.

And depending on one's talent, the amount of EXP they needed to level up would be set.

"How about you, Shikomu?" They questioned me.

I didn't see a point of lying, especially since these 2 were my allies.

And even if they did betray me, there were Jutsu in this world to change my appearance, and I am at a rank of power where I can seek these Jutsu out if needed.

"Mine was 500 EXP each."

They were shocked at my exclamation.

I then explained my entire theory about the bloodlines being related to talent.

And how one needed to have enough talent to become

But I chose not to explain how I had 2 of the most overpowered bloodlines in this world, which drastically increased my talent and potential.

"Wait, what did you mean 'was.'"

"Well, I am an Elite-Jonin now…"
