"A man who tamed the gods?"
The boss repeated it, expecting it to make some kind of sense right after. It didn't.
With such a serious expression on Lucy's face, he knew she was most likely serious about it.
A man who tamed the gods? Such a joke.
The gods have remained hidden for thousands of years, and somehow someone from a failing society managed to tame them?
It was laughable.
At least to those who were ignorant about it.
"So, since we have that out of the way, are you willing to write the apology now?" Lucy didn't care about the judgmental glances she was getting from the opposition.
They were beneath her.
Lousy idiots who only make ends meet by leeching off of others. She had little to no respect for them.
As such, she could confidently stretch a clean sheet of paper to their leader, her request not changing, despite seeing the noticeably annoyed expression on the boss's face.
