The three men froze.

Golden Lion smirked. "Two billion berries for me."
Whitebeard gave a nod. "Same."
Golden Lion's goal was to use the money to build his future fleet.
Whitebeard, on the other hand, planned to buy a new ship for when he eventually left the Rocks Pirates.
And, more importantly, he wanted to send money back home.
Since both had already eaten a Devil Fruit, they had no interest in more.
But Ayr?
Golden Lion frowned at him.
"Ayr, haven't you already eaten a Devil Fruit? Why take three more?"
He remembered their previous mission—when Ayr had fought Silver Axe over three Devil Fruits from the Getley Pirates.
"What exactly are you planning?" Golden Lion muttered.
Charlotte Linlin leaned in, her eyes filled with curiosity.
"Mmm~? You're up to something, aren't you?"
Ayr simply smiled.
"You'll just have to guess."
Golden Lion and Charlotte Linlin exchanged glances but didn't press further.
After all, everyone in the Rocks crew had their own secrets.
Just like they wouldn't reveal their own plans, Ayr wouldn't reveal his.
Charlotte Linlin suddenly laughed.

She turned toward Rocks.
"You wouldn't happen to have six Devil Fruits in stock, would you?"
Rocks grinned.
"Of course."
As the captain of the most fearsome pirate crew in the world, Rocks had endless wealth.
He could easily hand out four billion berries and six Devil Fruits without a second thought.
With a simple command, his subordinates brought out the treasures.
The moment Ayr received his three Devil Fruits, he turned and walked away.
