Chapter 57 - Chapter 57: How about you?

Outside the three-story villa, the sun was shining brightly, and the birds in the trees were chirping non-stop.

"Make dumplings? (Here it refers to 'wrap dumplings')"

Boa Hancock tilted her head, and a trace of confusion flashed in her eyes.

She had only heard Captain Shakky talk about this kind of thing, but she didn't know exactly how to do it.

"Don't you know how to wrap dumplings?"

Hearing this, Boa Hancock shyly lowered her head and murmured:

"No... I'm not sure..."

Sephiroth was all confused. He thought she already knew how to do it...

He let out a soft laugh, leaned over to Boa Hancock's ear and whispered:

"Alright! Let me teach you carefully! You must learn well!"

"Okay!"

Boa Hancock nodded repeatedly, her heart full of anticipation.

Then, Sephiroth reached out and lifted a white cloth, under which there were two glistening white dough balls. He placed his hand on them and gently kneaded them. Soon, his fingerprints appeared on the white dough.

In order to demonstrate the skills of wrapping dumplings to Boa Hancock, he really took great pains. He kneaded the dough with his left hand and mixed the seafood filling with his right hand simultaneously.

After a moment, Sephiroth raised his right hand and licked the taste of the filling, then nodded in satisfaction.

"Will... will it taste strange?"

"Do you want to try it too? I think it tastes great."

"No, it's okay. You've tasted it."

Boa Hancock shook her head and rejected the other party's suggestion.

After seasoning, Sephiroth took out a rolling pin.

"I'll teach you how to roll out the dough."

As he spoke, he placed the rolling pin on a white dough ball and gently rolled it, and from time to time he picked up the rolling pin and tapped it a few times.

After repeating this process several times and when it was almost ready, he combined the two white dough balls and rolled them with the rolling pin.

"Rolling out the dough must be done carefully. Don't be too hasty, or it will affect the taste."

As he said that, Sephiroth handed the rolling pin to Boa Hancock.

"Try the taste of the dough.

If it's very elastic, it means it's just right! (referring to the proper state of the dough)

If it's too soft, it means it won't work, and you need to process it again."

Hearing this, Boa Hancock closed her eyes, tasted it carefully, and then said:

"It's just right! (referring to the proper state of the dough)"

"Good. Next is the most important part of making dumplings, processing the seafood filling!"

"How exactly should I do it?" Boa Hancock asked in confusion.

"Then watch carefully and don't blink!"

As Sephiroth said, he brandished the rolling pin and pounded it into the seafood filling.

"Only by repeatedly swinging the rolling pin can the seafood filling be well - seasoned. It's a repetitive process that consumes a great deal of energy.

When it's your turn to do it, if you can't hold on, you can stop and take a rest."

"Okay! Okay! Okay!..."

Boa Hancock listened excitedly and attentively to the principle of making dumplings, ready to fully understand it and make dumplings for him every day from now on.

The water in the pot was almost boiling over. Only then did Sephiroth quickly drop the dumplings into the pot. As the water boiled more and more vigorously, the dumplings tumbled in the pot, creating a white froth.

Boa Hancock leaned over and stared seriously into the pot. Her pretty face was flushed red by the steam, and her eyes were misty.

"Right now! We gotta crank up the heat and let the water boil like crazy to make these dumplings taste even better!"

As he spoke, Sephiroth added another handful of firewood, keeping the water in the pot boiling constantly.

"Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!..."

Boa Hancock nodded and kept it firmly in mind.

After a while, the dumplings were finally ready.

Sephiroth gently bit open the white dumpling wrapper with his mouth and carefully tasted the seafood filling...

After finishing off the pot of dumplings, he looked up at Boa Hancock and said softly:

"I'm still hungry. How about you?"

"Huh!? I can still eat some more..."

"Then shall we continue to wrap dumplings?"

"Okay!"

One gave all the tips he had, and the other was humble and eager to learn.

After a busy afternoon, Boa Hancock finally learned how to wrap dumplings...
