Tick Tock, Tick Tock
The sound of a clock echoed in the silent office room as Nicholas stared at the pictures his men took with a smile and warmth in his heart. They were pictures of his children. They were his and his little moon's. And each time he thought of it, his heart filled with immense joy.
They were his beautiful twins, who were the mark of his love and obsession with his little moon. They were the shackles that completely tied his little moon to him.
He had been gathering information about the twins for weeks. He wanted to learn about the time in their lives that he had missed. He was making plans to meet his twins. He was excited about it.
Now that he had met his little moon, he thought it was time to meet his children too. He had missed four years of their lives. He had missed four years of his little moon's life. And now he didn't want to miss any more time. He wanted to be a part of their lives, like they were his.
