Chapter 32 - Feeling Unwell?

The more Qin Xin thought about it, the more something felt off, and the more alert she became.

Damn midsummer night, why is it so hot?

No, closing her eyes and tossing around in bed was not going to help her fall asleep. Qin Xin, unable to bear it any longer, took out her phone and searched for "cat lingerie" online.

The models were attractive, both two-dimensional and three-dimensional, but the vibe was off.

She closed the browser, cut off her mobile data, and opened her phone's local photo album. A few days ago, she had saved many photos of her senior from the school forum's various lists.

Although they were all wearing clothes, it didn't matter; Qin Xin had images in her mind that she could substitute in, as long as the reference had the right vibe.

But it still didn't feel right; the more she looked, the more alert she became, and her drowsiness seemed to have been thrown hundreds of miles away.

No, she needed to change her approach.

With a determined heart, Qin Xin reached out her hand.

...

A new day dawned.

The early bird gets the worm, and the early-rising Ningning, well, there's no need to say more.

Because she went to bed early, she woke up early today, feeling full of energy, stretching with an incredible sense of expansion.

If only her pajamas had a collar; otherwise, it would be a big deal.

Bai Ningning tilted her head to look; her big sister was right by the pillow, her pajamas a light shade. It seemed that her stretching had startled her, but the drowsiness hadn't faded; Qin Yue just lazily turned over.

A lazy and beautiful big sister is quite nice, but Ningning is really worried about you.

Last night, she went to bed early, and Qin Yue did the same, falling asleep right after her massage, and now it had been nearly twelve hours.

Is it a problem if she hasn't woken up yet?

Ningning was very worried and decided to check in.

"Yueyue, you…"

"Shut up!"

Qin Yue suddenly opened her eyes in a daze, staring at her: "If you say one more word, you can forget about leaving this bedroom today!"

"..."

Okay then, meow.

Putting on the outfit from yesterday, Bai Ningning tidied up her things and prepared to head out.

Another day for the beautiful long-legged senior was about to begin.

"Miss Ningning, please wait a moment."

As she passed the garden, Aunt Zou called out to her.

"Hmm?"

"Miss Ningning, do you remember what I told you before school started? You need to learn skills like massage," Aunt Zou said earnestly, "It's time now."

The young lady's health was already in crisis; if Miss Ningning didn't learn massage soon, it wouldn't be long before it was too late.

"But I haven't had much time lately."

"It's okay, just remember that this is important," Aunt Zou said, pulling out a book and handing it to her, "Take it out to read during your free time; just having a memory of it is enough."

The yellowed pages of the book illustrated the acupuncture points of the human body according to traditional Chinese medicine.

"Got it," Bai Ningning accepted the book, "I will read it."

Reading more books can't be wrong; at least it's a skill.

Arriving at school, just like yesterday, she bought some things to take to the playground. Since she had borrowed a thousand yuan from Qin Yue and hadn't spent any money while shopping, her little treasury was still relatively full.

"Senior Bai, good morning, thank you."

"Good luck with military training."

"Senior, you're so early today."

"Hmm, good luck with military training."

"Senior, you look so beautiful today; are a lot of people secretly watching you?"

"Drink your milk, and good luck with military training."

After sending off three junior sisters, Bai Ningning arrived at the 17th squad. This time she changed her order and first found the little loli, Nainai, handing her the water.

Nainai shrank her neck, surprised: "Is there some today too?"

Bai Ningning smiled lightly: "There's something every day."

Taking advantage of the little loli being too moved to speak, Bai Ningning calmly walked away because she still had a junior sister to meet.

It would be best if the autumn wind swept away the leaves, cutting through the chaos, and she could finish and leave before that scary girl discovered her past.

Bai Ningning had a good plan, but after searching the back row for a while, she still couldn't find her junior sister.

What's going on? Where is she?

"Are you looking for Qin Xin?"

"Yes, I…"

Bai Ningning instinctively replied, suddenly feeling a chill as she saw a girl with a wheat-colored complexion standing right behind her.

This body… no, this posture… not at all, it was just very dangerous!

"Hahaha," the tall girl chuckled softly, "Why are you so nervous? I won't eat you."

Bai Ningning wanted to ask, which kind of eat are you referring to?

The innocent kind?

"Qin Xin took a leave today," she said, "She said she was feeling unwell, so she didn't come."

"Feeling unwell?" Bai Ningning paused slightly, feeling a bit worried, "Is it serious?"

"It's normal for girls to feel unwell; there's no need to ask for specific reasons," the girl waved her hand, "As long as she took leave, the instructor approved it."

What? Why is it like this? Is it that boys have a harder time taking leave?

Bai Ningning almost shivered in anger but suddenly realized that she was also a girl now.

Oh, then it's fine.

"Senior, since you can't find your junior sister," the tall girl leaned in a bit closer, "

"How about..."

"Here you go."

Bai Ningning mustered her courage and stepped forward to hand the ice water to her, then took a step back. "Junior, you're not feeling well, I should go visit you right away."

Saying that, she turned and walked away.

The tall girl had just reached out her hand when the instructor's loud voice rang out: "Break time is over, everyone stand up, stand at attention!"

...

Finally escaped, that was close. Bai Ningning ran to the dormitory building, her heart still racing as she patted her chest.

The pillow was soft, but her heart was pounding.

Who would have thought that after just a short time in the 17th squad, she would still be caught by her.

She wouldn't be specifically watching me, would she?

In any case, thankfully the junior in black knee-high socks was feeling unwell today; otherwise, who knows what might have happened.

Bai Ningning lifted her swan-like neck and gazed up at the tall girls' dormitory, feeling a surge of emotions.

Being unwell is good, being unwell is great!

No need to say more, just for the contribution you made today, junior, I promise I won't treat you poorly. If you're sick, and it's within my ability, I'll make sure to help you get better today!

Bai Ningning wasn't reckless; for minor ailments in life, a bit of regular medicine would suffice. So later, she would go up, ask what was wrong, and then buy some medicine from the school pharmacy to bring back—that would count as treatment.

After establishing that junior group, Bai Ningning didn't often speak in it, but the juniors frequently communicated and shared their dormitory numbers with each other.

Bai Ningning took out her phone and scrolled through the group chat messages, and soon found her target.

"Found it, Room 521, quite a lucky number."

At first, Bai Ningning hesitated about entering the girls' dormitory. But then she thought, since I've been through it as a girl myself, why worry about these things?

Junior in black knee-high socks, wait for me, your senior is coming.
