"Hey!! Let go of me!"
She shouted. However, despite her tone, she made no attempts at escaping his grasp. It was always pointless trying to forcefully make Taro let go of anything. His strength practically made it impossible.
"nope!"
He denied her request with a mischievous and playful grin on his face before walking towards the edge of the indoor balcony.
"You're my brother Taro. You are not going to throw me over this Balcony. Just let me go"
She said, her tone unamused and a little more serious than he was expecting. He supposed she wasn't just here to play around and mess with him like siblings do.
"You used used to cry your eyes out whenever I did this"
He remarked while still holding her over his head. She wasn't bothered or even squirmed to get down, just patiently waiting for him to put her down.
"I was like eight, and besides, you can only do that so many times before I realize you're not actually going to do anything"
"Well since you're older and stronger, you'll survive the fall"
He said jokingly, but unfortunately, she didn't flinch or try to get down.
"Just put me down, please"
He sighed and complied, but once he did so, she gave him a light punch on the shoulder, her face still showing her frustration.
"Ok, what is it?"
"I'm missing class right now because of you"
She stated while walking away, and he followed behind her, realising that she was referring to the fact that there was paparazzi outside their house.
"Ok? it's not like this one class will get you a failing grade"
"Unlike you, Taro, I actually want to be a hero, so I would much rather I don't miss any of my classes"
She responded, this time, they descended the stairs with Taro simply floating over them rather than just walking down the stairs.
"Its one day, relax"
Hearing his words caused her to frown deeper. Of course, he didn't see the issue. He didn't care about being a hero and therefore didn't care about the rules.
"No, one day is all it takes. What if you do the same thing tomorrow or a week later? Am I supposed to miss my classes because you did something stupid?"
She said, turning to look at him with a frustrated glare filled with displeasure and disappointment. Recognizing the seriousness of the issue, Taro raised his hands in surrender
"I'm not going to do it again, I'm sorry. It was just some harmless fun. The villain wasn't even tough"
He said with a shrug of his shoulders and let his feet touch the ground.
Hearing her brother's words Momo's frustration turned into anger, it became apparent that her older brother failed to see how she felt and his carefree attitude did not allow him to take this as serious as he should be.
However, before she could speak, one of the few servants employed at their home made their appearance, quickly stealing Taro's attention.
"Excellent timing. Ms Yami, could you please make me something to eat and send it to my room?"
Taro asked the black haired maid, and she took a bow and heeded his request. However, while his attention was occupied by the maid, Momo chose to vacate from his presence.
Seeing that she disappeared, he sighed, feeling a bit guilty. She was always the type to care about school as such, it makes sense why she would be upset with him.
With a shrug of his shoulders, he decided to go back to his bedroom, thinking it was better to eat first and then go to sleep.
...…
[1 week later]
It took a complete 3 days before the medias began to let up in their attempts at get a story out of UA university, and out of Taro Yaoyorozu, however the school itself initiated a lock down and did an investigation regarding the break, so students wete excused from class for the remainder of the week.
Now, it was time to go back to class once again, and the school had allowed the student to come to class once again. However, the security was stricter and much more thorough when it came to their duties.
Taro yawned as he walked towards his class, Momo walked beside him silently, being forced to take a week off school was something she didn't like and her brother was at fault so giving him the silent treatment was adequate.
"You're going to have to talk to me eventually"
He said, but she did not respond. Instead, she walked faster, planning to arrive in class before he could.
Seeing this, he shrugged and continued to walk leisurely. He wasn't worried. She was going to mellow out eventually.
"Good morning Taro"
a bright and cheerful voice suddenly sounded from beside him, causing him to get startled in surprise. He calmed down when he saw Toru slowly fading back into existence.
"Damn! you'd be a killer in hide and seek"
He said jokingly, and she smiled brightby at his words.
"If I could control it maybe, sometimes I think I'm invisible when I'm not."
She said and matched his walking pace, causing them to walk side by side. Toru wasn't particularly short, but the height difference between them was quite significant.
"Skill issue?"
"That's rude"
She responded with an unserious pout, causing him to exhale through his nostrils in amusement.
"That's just true tho"
He said, maintaining a playful and unserious tone. Although he did figure being unable to control her quirk must have caused some hilarious incident, especially when she was a child.
The thought of her parents freaking out because they think they lost her, but instead, she was with them the whole time, such a thought caused him to smile in amusement.
"Well excuse me for not having a simple and easy to use Quirk"
"Ok fine I'm sorry, but that's why you're here, ain't it? to learn how to use your quirk effectively"
He said, deciding to be serious for a second, and he also sensed that teasing her any further may not be a good idea.
"I guess but it's a pain, you know"
She expressed, and her face showed a sombre expression. She often has to pay extra attention not to bump into people, and even when she does, they still bump into her.
"Well enough about me. Momo seems upset at you, so spill. What happened?"
She asked, her expression changing back to her usual cheerful one.
"Meh its nothing. She thinks she can give me the silent treatment when we live in the same house"
"I bet she can"
"No she can't. She has to talk to me somehow"
"I think she can, we can be very vindictive as women, so good luck trying to get her to talk to you"
"Please I'm her brother. I can get her to talk"
He said confidently, but Toru wasn't convinced at all. The two continued to talk as they walked, their conversation changing as they moved. It wasn't long before they reached the door to class 1A, and Taro opened the door.
"Nah I don't think his agency would sponsor a reality tv show. At best, they probably just thought the name was clever"
"You're wrong, All Might is definitely a connoisseur of reality TV. I bet it's all he watches when he's not doing hero work"
Toru disputed, and Taro chuckled at her words, All Might reality TV was a hilarious sight to think about.
"If you want to be delu–"
Unfortunately Taro's words were viciously cut off before he could complete the sentence
"Taro! You bastard!!"
Bakugou's voice rang out as soon as he and the two entered the class.
"Yes, I missed you too Bakugou"
Taro responded mockingly to the blonde, his voice a plain monotone. The fact that the first thing he hears the moment he enters the class is Bakugou screaming his name was not something he liked.
"Shut up! I don't give a fuck about you. We missed a whole week because of you!"
"Of course he cares about you, he's been screaming your name each time someone opened the door"
Mina spoke and her words recieved chuckles from everyone in the room much to the displeasure of Bakugou.
"Oh shut up, Pinky. No one was talking to you."
Bakugou ordered however his lighthearted jab at Mina by referring to her as "pinky" wasn't well received as rather than responding to his words with her own jab at his character, she remained silent, doing her best not to appear bothered by him accurately describing her skin colour.
"Hey! Bakugou that's not nice"
Kirishima quickly came to her defense as he noticed that Bakugou's words probably made her remember some unpleasant memories.
"You shut up too, red hair!"
Bakugou waved off dismissively at the red haired young man as he focused his attention on Taro once again.
"Like I said we missed a whole week of classes because of you. You think just because you're strong you can do whatever you like?"
Bakugou voiced as he stood before Taro, facing him with a scowl on his face.
"I wasn't aware that acting like a hero was a problem"
Taro responded and took a step to the side and walked around Bakugou to get to his seat, Bakugou frowned deeper and prepared to grab Taro's shoulder however Aizawa walked in.
"Alright to your seats you brats"
The man commanded as he entered the class, he took s moment to apply some eye drops before he continued to walk to his desk.
"Oh and Taro, your punishment for breaking the rules and the law is pending but for the most part you won't be suspended"
Aizawa announced as he reached his desk and sat down,Taro gave the man a nod. Truthfully Nezu could not think of a punishment that would be severe enough to teach other students not to do what Taro did, aside from suspension or expulsion.
"Also and this goes for the rest of you don't even try to do what you did ever again or else you're expelled, got it?"
The young man gave a disinterested "yeah" he didn't particularly care, about being a hero nor did he feel like he needed a licence to be a hero but he supposed it wouldn't be cool to do that again.
"So what Taro gets a slap on the wrist but we get expelled if we do what he did?"
Bakugou protested, pointing out the unfairness of the situation.
"Yes, this was a first time thing and UA will not tolerate a repeat. You aren't children you should understand that just because someone did something and did not get punished severely doesn't mean you won't be"
He explained to the blonde boy who asked the question and received a groan in response. Aizawa understood the unfairness but Taro's action resulted in no casualties and prevented the villain from escaping, in fact they were a demonstration of the type of potential he has as a hero.
"Anyway You'll –"
Aizawa unfortunately was unable to finish his sentence as a muscular man suddenly burst through the door, his deep voice announcing his arrival.
"I am entering through the door like a normal person"
All Might said as he walked through the door, in the most exaggerated way possible and immediately disproving the statement of him entering the class like a normal person.
"ALL MIGHT!!"
The students gasped his name all in unison before they burst in a cacophony of excitement at the fact that the greatest hero in Japan and perhaps the world was now before them.
Taro too found himself excited, he may not want to be a hero but he was a fan of All Might, although for different reasons than his classmates.
To him All Might was akin to Rappa the current reigning champion of the QMMA league.Taro was a fan because of his strength, not because of his heroism.
"Holy… All Might, can I get an autograph!"
