Selene leaned back in her executive chair, holding up the file in her hands. Her eyes scanning through each pages of the contract,making sure there were to mistakes.
It was the finished draft of the marriage agreement she had given to her lawyer,to help finalize it and read more into it. Just to make sure she was on the right track.
Exhaling deeply, she straightened up in her chair as she casually tossed the file back on the table.
Her gaze dropped to her hands, which had just started to tremble as her mind raced back to that night. She steadied her breath as she tried to block out that terrifying night, but it came flooding back altogether.
It had been two days since the incident, and every time her mind seems to recall back to it, her entire body would immediately stiffened in fear driving her mind in to panic.
