Chapter 34 - Chapter 34: Boring Class

After breakfast, the atmosphere in the bedroom was completely harmonious again.

It was 10:00 in the morning when Becky arrived at the dorm with his perverted abnormalities and fantasies.

At night, he once again tried to 'advance' his relationship with Damian, only to be captured by Rindō and thrown away.

That way, time passed quickly. Damian went to school during the day, watched something on TV with Rindō and Momo, then told them to go to sleep, went out for his training, and finally went back to sleep. Fortunately, classes started at nine o'clock, so Damian had enough time to rest.

It is noteworthy that this week, Rindō and Momo finally joined the Elite Ten. Rindō took the fifth seat, while Momo got the seventh.

When they became Elite Ten, Rindō and Momo became very famous at Tōtsuki, but these two were still the same as usual—unwilling to get up from bed, staying up late to watch movies—there was no change.

But if there's something that did change, it's that, as they occupied their seats in the Elite Ten, they had to spend a lot of time processing documents.

It is also noteworthy that lately, Becky had become increasingly discreet in his advances.

During this time, Damian's fame had spread more and more at Tōtsuki, not only because he was a friend of Rindō and Momo, but also because he was already recognized as the best cook of the first year.

He had already earned a nickname and was much recognized for it.

Lightning Chef.

Something very chūnibyō that Damian still didn't understand where exactly originated from.

As for the reason for this nickname, it was simply because of the speed with which he could prepare his dishes.

Yawning~~

"Ahhh... what a sleep..."

"I personally think we should listen to this lecture. We still have a written test later."

Damian sighed and looked at Isshiki, who was sitting in front of him.

"Isshiki, you're being even lazier than me. You should pay more attention in class."

"Ahaha... this is a small issue, but I didn't expect it to be so coincidental. The three of us in the same classroom."

"I didn't expect you to be in this classroom and sit in front of me," Damian said.

"And I didn't expect that you would soon be late for class, Nene," ISSHIKI laughed.

"This has nothing to do with you..."

Nene answered calmly. Isshiki said nothing. Damian yawned as he stretched in his chair.

"The morning classroom was near my dorm, so I came back to rest a little," Nene continued.

"You forgot to set the alarm, didn't you?" Isshiki smiled and said.

Nene just frowned and didn't say a word. She simply kept writing the contents of the class quietly.

"Why were you so tired, after all?" Damian asked lazily beside her.

"It's not important at all," she answered as she shook her head and continued writing.

"Damian, the Tōtsuki Friendship and Rapport Training Camp is already very close. I hope you have fun," Isshiki said as he looked at Damian.

Hearing this, Nene stopped writing and looked at both of them.

"Have fun? You won't work hard?" she asked with a frown.

The corner of Isshiki's eye twitched when he heard this.

What would Tōtsuki be like if Damian really put in effort?

He already knew enough about Damian's level in cooking to know that even without working hard, Damian could easily pass the exams.

"Taking into account your skills, training can really be considered just a simple ride," Nene murmured.

"And are you both the same?" Damian asked.

Nene and ISSHIKI said nothing. Isshiki suddenly thought of something and asked curiously, "You seem to have a good relationship with Kobayashi-senpai and Akanegakubo-senpai, right? I saw you three coming to school together."

Nene also turned her head and looked at Damian.

"This was inevitable. We're in the same dorm..." Damian responded lazily.

"Eh?! As expected from you..."

Nene also turned her head. Damian sighed and said, "By the way, can you see the board?"

Nene nodded and said, "Yes, at this time the light isn't reflecting off the board, no one is blocking my vision now, and the teacher isn't erasing the board too fast."

"Hmm..."

Damian said nothing after Nene finished talking. He simply fell asleep at the table while Isshiki was still playing with his cell phone.

The class was very boring. Besides Damian and Isshiki, there were many students sleeping or using their cell phones.

While Nene turned the pages of her book, she noticed Damian sleeping on the table.

(He's really beautiful...) She couldn't help but think while watching him sleep.

Damian was very handsome, confident, and occasionally showed his poisonous side. She didn't expect him to have such a peaceful expression while sleeping.

After hesitating a little, Nene took her phone and took a picture of him with a completely flushed face. After taking the picture, she immediately put the phone away, took a deep breath to calm down, and once again paid attention to class.

Although this class was admittedly boring, there were still some students who paid attention.

For example, Nene, who was recognized as a good student.

When class finally ended, Isshiki yawned and said, "As I said, this class is very boring, even Damian is still sleeping..."

"Ah! I almost forgot about my Shokugeki. Nene, I'm going ahead," Isshiki suddenly said, getting up from his chair.

"Shokugeki?"

"Ah, I wanted to plant some vegetables, so I need more space."

"Ah..."

Nene packed her bag without haste, while Isshiki gathered his things quickly and left. Damian was still sleeping peacefully.

"He's like a cat..."

"His hair looks like it would feel good to touch..."

Nene thought about it, and after a moment, her face blushed and she quickly shook her head. Her hand, which was about to touch Damian's head, instead gave him a slight push on the arm.

"Huh? What happened? Can't you see the board?" Damian mumbled.

"That's not it. Class is over," she said softly.

"Is that so?"

"Hmm..."

"Ahh... I slept too much. Thanks for waking me."

"No... it's okay..."

Damian got up and said, "Are we the only ones here? Come on, let's go out together."

Nene looked at Damian, bathed in the light of the western sun, and somehow felt warm. She didn't know if it was because of the sun or because of Damian's kind smile.

"What's wrong?"

"It's nothing. Let's go..."
