Back on the Going Merry Chealse, Sanji, Luffy, Chopper, Usopp, and Zoro were all trying to keep their cool as the voice was getting closer and louder. However, they couldn't see the person whose voice belonged to. Both Elizabeth and William flew down from their perch on the mast of the ship. It was clear that whoever was making this noise had both hawks on edge.
Chelase stroked Elizabeth's feathers, trying to calm her companion. "It's ok, girl. I know you're scared. We're gonna get through this."
William landed on Nami's shoulder, just as scared as Elizabeth was. It took a lot to scare both birds. William hid his head amongst his feathers.
Nami noticed the hawk had landed on her shoulder and gently stroked Williams's tail feathers. "It's ok, William. We're all a little nervous at the moment."
A skeleton landed on the rail of the Going Merry but didn't say anything before surveying the ship and everyone on board. It smiled briefly before vanishing. It appeared again. "Yoho Yoho."
Luffy, being the overexcited person he was, composed himself and blinked. "Awesome! A singing dead person! So cool!"
Zoro looked at him. "You moron are you seriously considering of asking him to join the crew?"
Luffy nodded. "Why not? We need a musician, right?"
Chealse blinked. "I guess so. It does a little to quiet around here."
A few moments later, I came back from discovering the dead ships. They held secrets that I didn't have enough time to explore to unlock their history of how they were made or what happened to their crews. As I walked back towards the ship, I could hear Henry starting, which made me start running towards the Going Merry. Hold on, Henry. Momma's coming.
Back on the ship, Henry was screaming out of fear due to this seemingly dead person walking on the rail like it was just a game, not realizing or understanding that he was scaring an infant. Henry clung to his father, trying to hide his tears.
Zoro held his son close to him, trying to soothe him while at the same time using his free hand on the hilt of his swords. "It's gonna be ok, buddy. Momma's is going to be back soon." He glanced up. "I hope."
As the ship approached, I could hear Henry crying. I also saw a skeleton singing. What the hell was going on? I was able to see just the tip of Luffy's straw hat on the deck. "LUFFY! WHAT'S GOING ON?"
Luffy blinked. "Do you guys hear something?"
Chealse walked over, and her eyes lit up. "It's Kat. She's back. We have to get her back on the ship and tell her about this weird singing person."
Luffy joined her. "You're right."
I ran up alongside the ship. " Chleas what's going on? Why is Henry crying?"
"Once we find a way to get you up here, you'll have to find out for yourself."
"If it has anything to do with a dead singing skeleton, I've figured it out already. Just help me on board."
Luffy finally was able to get me on the Going Merry and explain to me what was going on and why everyone was in a panic. Including both Elizabeth and William. "So, were you able to gather much info on the ships that are part of this graveyard?"
I shook my head. "They hold secrets, but other than that, I can't get much out of them."
Luffy nodded. "Sanji, Nami, and I are getting ready to try and talk to this dead person. To see why he's so intent on scaring everyone, including Henry and the hawks. He seems so happy doing it. It's starting to get old."
I nodded. "Well then, capitan, I'll leave you to it."
Luffy smiled. "Right."
