My daughter was distraught. I wanted to comfort her but this was not the time. I felt the air around us closing in. My mother. Damnit.
Czar held me while we all filled in my daughter with some of the basics. There was still more she needed to know, but I needed to get her off this planet first.
As my daughter drained her life's energy from her friends, I sensed Kitten.
I flew to find her in the hospital and Everyone soon followed. I grabbed her by the neck and started to choke.
She laughed, "Your resolve is weak. But she…She has a strong will."
Kitten laughed. "Sayari, we can stop with this façade. "GET THE HELL OFF OF ME!!" Kitten's face turned even more demonic.
I jumped back and Kit ran to my side. I didn't want her to be here. "How long have you been here? I know that you are the Rabbit."
I could feel the stares of my family, but I didn't care. I was going to kill this creature today.
Kitten's face twisted in pain, then a wicked smile plastered her face and made me jump back. "Did that make you feel better! Are you happy you finally figured it out?"
Czar ran to my side and pushed Kit and Santino behind us. They were strong but no match for the Rabbit. This being could kill us all in a matter of seconds. We looked over at Kitten and watched her transform.
Kitten caught her breath and then looked me in the eye, her form changing. "Sayari Lin of Sanctuary and Fuyil of Tarkel, I am the Rabbit," It laughed, "I'm glad you came to that conclusion yourselves. You are a lot smarter and more informed than your sisters. I wonder how? No matter, you cannot run from your fates." The Rabbit laughed then disappeared.
"Damn! That damn Rabbit will die." I looked up at Czar. "We need to move…NOW!"
He nodded.
My daughter stared at me and I started to walk toward her. We needed to get her yaria, but I also needed her to know her future.
"Kit, my mother, sisters and I, are meant to destroy all life in the universe. Most of us have tried time and time again to run from this fate but are forced to fulfill it anyway. What pisses me off, is that the trait passes on to our children. Kit, I do not want that for you. We need to get you off this planet." My skin felt like it was burning. The hairs on my arm became thicker and my wings spread.
Czar looked at me and sighed. I chuckled as I transformed.
I felt the fire of the Hell Hounds coursing through me. "Now, let's end this and get the hell out of here."
My mother was coming. This world would be ending soon.
