I'm in a camp right now for national service in my country that is why updates have been wonky and I have had to upload dud chapters sometimes.

There was a flash of steel as the lumbering body of a beast fell to the pavement.
Thalia blinked away the rain that was accumulating in her eyes and observed the area around her.
Littered on the street, in front of the first shelter's gates were countless bodies of apocalypse beasts, each with their own degrees of injuries.
It was an approaching horde that had found their way to the gate, but as usual they were nothing serious.
She dismissed her armour, returning to her plain clothes and dismissed her sword as well.
The large gates of the first shelter creaked open and Thalia stepped into the compound, stretching her hand to relieve herself of the stiffness.
Just then, Natasha ran up to her in the rain and began walking by her side.
"How are things in Ark's shelter?"
