The thud was accompanied with a loud gasp as the two bodies hit the ground. The man that had been begging had his mouth agape as he stared at the bodies of his companions now charred. This was really shocking especially now that he knew he had to face the devil himself. This was not real, he tried to tell himself. So, he did what anyone who was doubting their reality would do, he started slapping himself.
He shut his eyes during the process and had not seen Julio squat in front of him. That was when he opened his eyes and...
"Boo!" Julio said to him as their faces were within a few inches from each other.
"Ah-ah!" The man yelled fearfully as he staggered backwards and landed on his butt. He was shivering at this point and all he could imagine was his end.
