The scorched earth welcomed Alex like an old friend.

As his boots dug into the ashen soil, he stopped, golden lightning cracking beneath his heels and rippling outward in jagged arcs. The remnants of the Thunder Wolf's domain surrounded him—shattered stone, twisted trees blackened by ancient storms, and deep gouges in the land that whispered of violent death. There was no wind here. No birds. No life.

Only silence—and tension, coiled like a predator waiting to strike.

He exhaled slowly.

The hum within his chest rose as the nano suit fully deployed—a ripple across his body like liquid metal locking into place. It was sleek, black, and predatory.

The suit clung to him like a shadow incarnate, a seamless combination of technology and magic. Golden strips carved across it in jagged, lightning-like patterns, pulsing with power as if alive. His mouth and jaw were hidden beneath a darkened mask, only his glowing eyes visible beneath the hood—streaked with light and cold resolve.
