High atop the mountain, Lin Feng stood quietly, watching the battle taking place in the valley below. He waited patiently for Zi Yan to lure the magic beast away.

In his heart, he marveled in silence. This Core Quenching Body Milk is truly extraordinary—it's even capable of making a Rank 5 magic beast speak.

Normally, aside from heaven-gifted beasts like Zi Yan, most magic beasts would need to reach the sixth rank before they could speak.

This alone spoke volumes about the power of the Core Quenching Body Milk.

The battle below lasted only a short while before Zi Yan began gradually leading the Snow Demon Sky Ape away.

As the enormous figure shrank into a mere dot in the distance, Lin Feng activated his Concealment Technique, then lightly flapped the wings on his back.

Using the thunderous clashes echoing from outside the valley as cover, he shot toward the inner regions.

After flying for some time, he finally realized just how vast this valley truly was.

He thought to himself, The terrain in this valley is rather complex... finding the Core Quenching Body Milk might take some time.

The valley was dense with trees and littered with jagged rocks, yet devoid of any other living creatures. Clearly, all had been driven out by the Snow Demon Sky Ape.

The path he traveled was eerily silent, without a single sound, though here and there, he saw bare bones scattered across the ground.

It seemed not only humans had their eyes on the Core Quenching Body Milk—even magic beasts had tried to fight for it.

Judging by this scene, they had all been slain here by the Snow Demon Sky Ape.

After a short while, Lin Feng suddenly stopped in mid-air.

Looking up, he saw that not far ahead lay the end of the valley.

His eyes fell upon a pitch-black cave at the end. With a light flap of his wings, Lin Feng swooped down toward the ground.

He landed agilely atop a massive boulder outside the cave. Then, with a slight bend of his knees, he launched himself toward the cave entrance.

The cave itself was quite spacious—understandable, since it had to accommodate the Snow Demon Sky Ape.

The ceiling stretched over ten meters high. Inside, broken stones were scattered across the floor, and tufts of white fur were everywhere.

Moving quickly, Lin Feng proceeded deeper into the cave. A moment later, he frowned slightly and came to a stop before the wall at the very end.

Turning around, he scanned his surroundings. Then his eyes locked onto a corner of the cave wall.

The ground there was noticeably sunken, filled with piles of white fur. Surrounding it were far more footprints than anywhere else in the cave.

Lin Feng stepped forward, crouching down to examine the spot closely. He discovered this was likely the Snow Demon Sky Ape's resting place.

That sunken pit looked like it had been formed by the weight of the creature's massive body.

Noticing the frequent traces of the beast's visits, a thought struck him. He lightly waved his sleeve across the area piled with white fur.

Immediately, a gust of wind surged forth, blowing the white fur away.

As the fur scattered, a layer of silt appeared beneath.

Unlike the surrounding ground, the sand here was a noticeably darker color—almost as if it had been freshly turned over.

Seeing the carefully filled silt, Lin Feng's lips curled slightly. With a flick of his finger, a strand of Dou Qi shot out and exploded against the sand.

With a dull bang, a pitch-black hole leading into the underground appeared before his eyes.

Without hesitation, he leapt down into the hole, dashing swiftly through a twisting underground tunnel.

Though the path was winding, Lin Feng could feel he was steadily descending deeper into the earth.

In the silence of the underground, he walked for nearly ten minutes before spotting a faint white glow at the end of the dark tunnel ahead.

His heart skipped with joy, and he quickly sped up.

The closer he got, the larger the white glow became.

Eventually, it transformed into a cave entrance shimmering with white light.

As his foot stepped out of the tunnel and into the open space, a magnificent underground world filled with stalactites unfolded before Lin Feng's eyes.

As far as he could see, milky-white stalactites filled every corner of the cavern.

A soft white light radiated from within, driving away the darkness.

Stalactites hung everywhere—some even dangled hundreds of meters from the ceiling.

The cavern ceiling was covered in towering clusters of these massive formations.

Now and then, a drop of milky-white liquid would fall from above, splashing into a pool below and scattering white droplets.

"To think such a place could exist beneath the ground... Nature truly is miraculous," Lin Feng couldn't help but exclaim in awe as he took in the breathtaking scene.

Afterward, he closed his eyes and extended his soul perception outward.

He began sensing the underground cavern for the place where the Earth attribute energy was most concentrated.

Moments later, he opened his eyes and quickly dashed in a specific direction.

After navigating through this world of stalactites for a few minutes, Lin Feng finally arrived at the location where the Earth attribute energy was at its densest.

A massive stalactite appeared before Lin Feng, reaching all the way up to the peak of the cavern ceiling.

The stalactite hung straight down from above, its massive size stretching over a hundred meters long, and as thick as the embrace of two grown men.

A soft, pale glow swirled around it, making it look like a pillar of crystal.

Without a doubt, this stalactite was the largest in the entire underground world—like the sovereign of all stalactites—receiving the reverence of countless others around it.

As his gaze slowly shifted downward, Lin Feng saw beneath the stalactite a vast slab of bluish-green stone, most of which was buried beneath the earth.

At the top of this stone was a shallow recess, less than half a foot deep, positioned perfectly beneath the stalactite's pointed tip.

Within that recess was a pool of milky-white liquid, about two inches deep.

A faint white mist hovered above the surface of the liquid.

Strangely enough, no matter how the mist drifted, it never dissipated.

Lin Feng gently inhaled, and as a wisp of the mist entered his body, he immediately sensed the pure energy contained within.

His eyes locked onto the milky liquid in the recess, and his throat moved involuntarily in a gulp. A trace of excitement surged onto his face.

As long as I obtain this Core Quenching Body Milk, my strength will soar...

And my cultivation talent—it'll undergo a significant boost as well.

Just as Lin Feng was lost in thought, a faint mist began to rise from the tip of the massive stalactite above.

Within the white fog, the stalactite's tip glowed more and more intensely.

As the light gathered, a single drop of milky-white liquid—like a glowing bead—suddenly condensed.

The droplet trembled slightly at the tip of the stalactite, and at last, it broke free and fell, dropping straight down through the air until it landed gently into the shallow recess atop the bluish stone.

The droplet's fall caused ripples to spread across the pool of milky liquid, yet not a single drop spilled over the edge.

Staring at the white liquid rippling like a tiny emerald bowl, Lin Feng suddenly felt dazed.

He remembered: it took an entire year to condense a single drop of this liquid. Just how many years had it taken to fill this small pit?

Snapping back to reality, Lin Feng hurriedly took out several jade bottles and began bottling the Core Quenching Body Milk.

Moments later, as the fifth bottle was filled, the pool of milky liquid had been completely emptied.

Even after completing this, Lin Feng didn't leave immediately. Instead, he lifted his head to gaze at the massive stalactite hanging from the cavern ceiling.

With a sudden stretch of his crimson wings, his figure slowly drifted upward toward the enormous stalactite.

Perhaps this is how it usually goes. Even if someone were lucky enough to find this place, they'd probably do what I just did—collect the "Core Quenching Body Milk" below… while leaving the real treasure untouched.

That pool from earlier? Just a diversion—an illusion meant to protect this natural treasure.

All of it was excess that had flowed out of the true source—diluted Core Quenching Body Milk.

Only within the root of this stalactite lies the true essence of this underground cavern… the real Core Quenching Body Milk!

Lin Feng flew upward along the massive, vertically-hanging stalactite. In the blink of an eye, he reached the top of the cavern.

From this height, the once-massive stalactites below now looked no bigger than ants.

Floating there at the topmost part of the stalactite, Lin Feng arrived at the point where it merged with the cavern ceiling.

A soft glow seeped out from within the stalactite. Under the illumination, it looked just like transparent crystal—exquisitely beautiful.

Lin Feng retrieved several jade bottles and then wrapped them tightly with Rank 7 beast flame.

Moments later, he had produced a finely-crafted jade blade.

This kind of heavenly material treasure could never come into direct contact with metal. Otherwise, it would be ruined instantly—disintegrated into nothingness.

Wrapping the jade blade carefully in Dou Qi, Lin Feng gently sliced into the base of the stalactite.

Thanks to the Dou Qi covering, the jade blade had become extremely sharp.

With just a light touch, the blade's tip sank into the crystal-like stalactite with a faint puchi sound.

Holding the blade tightly, Lin Feng didn't even dare to breathe. He focused all his attention, cautiously and precisely cutting.

"Ka."

After a long while, the jade blade in his hand finally severed the last connection between the stalactite and its root.

Immediately, a round segment of the stalactite broke off and began to fall—but Lin Feng reacted quickly, catching it with one swift motion.

Suddenly, an intense light burst out from the cut in the stalactite, the brightness forcing him to shut his eyes for a moment.

When his vision adjusted and he looked again, he saw a thick, jade-colored liquid floating inside the stalactite.

This liquid seemed to possess a will of its own, gently swirling within the crystal-like structure.

However, it never drifted far—remaining within the narrow bounds of the circular cut.

Seeing this true Core Quenching Body Milk, Lin Feng smiled faintly and took out a jade box about the size of a human head.

Carefully, he poured the emerald-colored liquid from the stalactite into the box.

Finally, when only the last trace of Core Quenching Body Milk remained inside, Lin Feng raised his hand and stopped the pouring.

After all, one should always leave behind a seed—an unspoken rule in the world of alchemy: never sever the root of a heavenly treasure.
