"Are you going to move?"
Bai Luo asked after calming down somewhat, his hands still covering Xiao Mo's mouth.
"Can I kiss you?"
Xiao Mo asked a question of his own. His voice came out muffled, but Bai Luo clearly heard him, prompting him to respond with a single word.
"Shameless."
Xiao Mo's eyes squinted into crescent moons as he smiled. Bai Luo could feel Xiao Mo's lips move against his palm and the tickling sensation caused a wave of goosebumps to appear on his arms.
"You know you can make me move if you really wanted to."
After saying this, Xiao Mo stared at Bai Luo, observing his reaction. But rather than pushing him away, Bai Luo bit his bottom lip and gazed back at Xiao Mo with a hesitant look in his eyes.
They stayed like that, silently gazing at each other before Xiao Mo shifted to have his elbow rest on the table rather than his palms. Bai Luo's hands were still covering his lips as he drew closer to him.
