Merlin, Boa Hancock, Selina Kyle, Fubuki, Gwen Stacy, and of course, Chika herself.
After everyone finished introducing themselves, the pink-haired girl asked in the chat:
[Earth's Cancer: So, I didn't leave out any important details, right?]
[Lady Avalon: Nope, that should cover everything~ Good job, Chika-chan~]
[Earth's Cancer: Hehe~]
[Earth's Cancer:@Ordinary Person, anything else you wanna ask?]
[Ordinary Person: Hmm… First of all, thanks for the detailed explanation.]
[Ordinary Person: Also, I went back and looked through the chat history after I joined… From what you and Lady Avalon were saying, this chat group… does it really only have one function — letting us from different worlds talk to each other?]
[Earth's Cancer: As a totally ordinary high school girl from an ordinary world, I get why you'd ask that. But as for the answer…]
[Earth's Cancer: Unfortunately, yeah, pretty much.]
[Earth's Cancer: Well, I say that, but it's not entirely useless. Besides chatting, there are some small features too. Like daily check-ins. Every day you can check in once and get 1 to 3 group points. You can even send those points to others as red envelopes…]
[Earth's Cancer: We're all guessing that once the group gets big enough, these points might unlock other uses. But for now? Nothing special yet.]
[Ordinary Person: Got it.]
Veyron felt a little disappointed but still clicked on the "Check-In" page and casually gave it a try.
[Check-In Notice: Group member "Ordinary Person" has checked in. Points +3]
3 points. Not bad, huh?
Just as that thought crossed his mind, a series of pinned announcements suddenly popped up on his screen—
[Group Notice: Total group points have reached 100,001 (≥100,000), current group members: 7 (≥5). All conditions met. Chat group will now level up.]
[Group Notice: Leveling up in… 3, 2, 1]
[Group Notice: Upgrade complete]
[Group Notice: Dimensional Chat Group is now Level 2. "Red Envelope" function upgraded. New features unlocked: [Files], [Livestream], [Missions], [Shop], [Gacha]. Details of each feature can be viewed in the function page.]
---
[Lady Avalon: ?]
[Earth's Cancer: ?]
[Snake Princess: ?]
[Hellish Blizzard: ?]
[Catwoman: ?]
[Ghost Spider: ???]
[Ghost Spider: What just happened??]
[Earth's Cancer: Uh… to put it simply, we got a new member, and after his check-in, the group met the requirements to level up. So… here we are.]
[Ghost Spider: Whoa, nice one, girl! @Ordinary Person]
[Ordinary Person: Cough I'm a guy…]
[Ghost Spider: Eh (⊙o⊙)…]
[Earth's Cancer: Huh?]
[Lady Avalon: Eh, it's fine, doesn't really matter. After all, this is a dimensional chat group, not a dimensional girls-only chat group. If anything, it's pretty rare that all six of us before you were girls — that's like a 3.125% chance! Now it just feels more balanced.]
[Lady Avalon: Anyway, shouldn't we be more focused on these new features we just unlocked?]
[Earth's Cancer: Oh, right! New features!]
[Earth's Cancer: I can already feel the chance to become extraordinary calling out to me!]
The pink-haired girl instantly switched to the group's function page.
Just like her, Veyron and the other members all hurried to check out the changes brought by the level-up.
---
First up: Red Envelopes.
Originally, red envelopes could only be used to send or receive group points.
Now? Besides points, you could also put items into them — as long as those items belong to you or are under your control.
---
Then, the five new functions:
1. Group Files
Members can upload text, images, or videos into Group Files for everyone to view or download — either publicly or shared with specific members only.
2. Group Live Stream
Members can start a livestream, showing what's happening around them in either first-person or third-person view.
First-person livestream quality depends on your own eyesight.
Third-person view depends on your overall senses like vision and hearing.
3. Group Missions
Members can accept posted missions here. Complete them to earn rewards.
4. Group Shop
Starting now, the shop will refresh every 7 days. The number of items depends on how many members there are.
Formula: Number of Items = 2^N, where N is the number of members.
Right now, including Veyron, there are 7 members. So that means 128 items every refresh.
Besides official items, members can also put up their own stuff for sale within a recommended price range. These won't disappear with the weekly refresh unless the seller takes them down.
5. Group Gacha
Spend 100 points for a single draw. Spend 1000 points, and you get 11 draws (10+1 bonus).
There's no pity system in regular draws... but every member's very first pull came with a special guarantee — you'd get something worth at least 1000 points in the Shop.

[Group Notice: Lady Avalon has sent a targeted red envelope to Ordinary Person]
[Ordinary Person: Uh…?]
[Lady Avalon: There's 100 points in there. Just enough for a basic Gacha pull. I'm curious what kind of guaranteed prize you'll get.]
[Lady Avalon: Don't get me wrong — think of it as a small welcome gift from me to our lucky mascot. Pay me back when you save up 100 points later.]
[Earth's Cancer: Mascot?]
[Lady Avalon: Mascots are seen as symbols of good fortune and wishes for a better future. I'm sure Chika-chan knows what I mean.]
[Lady Avalon: Realistically speaking, yeah, even if you didn't show up, one or two of us could've signed in again to hit the point goal. But the fact is — your sign-in just happened to push us over the line. That timing alone makes you our mascot, doesn't it?]
[Ordinary Person: Well… thanks, I guess.]
Veyron could tell the whole "mascot" thing was mostly just an excuse.
What Lady Avalon really wanted was to make sure he wouldn't feel too awkward during the inevitable "show your prize" moment. Lending him those 100 points was basically a friendly gesture to help him blend in.
With that thought in mind, Veyron replied to Lady Avalon—[Thanks for the support.]
