Chapter 95 - Resurection

───「 GODZILLA POV 」───

One day earlier, as humanity cowered in underground shelters and the devastated Australian continent lay in ruins, Godzilla initiated an evolution.

[Evolution Initiated: Earth-wide Radar, Earth-Moon System Enemy Marking, and Premonition.]

Unlike its previous transformation into Godzilla-Earth, this evolution allowed it to retain full consciousness. Each bodily change could be precisely sensed, as if Godzilla were a meticulous scientist documenting its own metamorphosis.

Its ultimate goal transcended the mysterious panel that guided its evolution. Godzilla hoped that even when the panel reached its limits, it could continue to strengthen and protect this world.

The panel itself remained an enigma. In Godzilla's ancestral memories, no precedent existed for such a mechanism. Was this something inherent to its own existence?

The newly formed natural consciousness seemed prophetic, attempting to prevent Godzilla from becoming Godzilla-Earth. It was aware of Godzilla's impending destruction of Australia, of the transformation that would follow.

King Ghidorah was different—not a naturally born Titan, but an elevated being similar to Godzilla. The Ghidorah's Wings resembled the panel's description of emerging ecosystem creatures.

During its previous transformation, an inexplicable energy source had gradually attached itself from deep underground. The materials and energy for evolution weren't conjured from nothing but transported through Godzilla's feet from the planet's depths.

As evolution began, the first hours passed uneventfully. Godzilla remained motionless, observing the new life forms emerging from the forests—creatures born from plants after the original animals had been distributed. The Oxygen Destroyer had threatened to eliminate these nascent life forms, but Godzilla had intervened, creating mountains to block the toxic fog.

The small creatures gathered around Godzilla, feeling the pulse of the earth, growing together with their protector.

In the sixth hour, something changed. A new organ began forming from Godzilla's nose to the back of its head. Its feet grew warm, as if absorbing energy from the ground. Every organ resonated with the flowing materials.

Godzilla meticulously recorded each growth, each transformation—preparing for future self-modification.

Seven to eight hours passed before the nasal organ's development completed. Then, an indescribable power surged—the panel's energy expanding before Godzilla, invisible yet palpable. The atmospheric temperature rose by dozens of degrees.

The energy continued expanding for hours until, suddenly, it reached a critical point.

In an instant too quick for Godzilla to comprehend, everything stopped.

Godzilla died.

The small creatures around it panicked, sensing their god's sudden demise. Some began to transform, preparing to use their own bodies as fuel to reignite Godzilla's life force.

But before they could complete their transformation, Godzilla resurrected.

As consciousness returned, Godzilla's eyes opened. It activated the Earth-wide radar, searching for Oxygen Destroyers while processing an incredible vision—the entire history of the universe had just unfolded before its consciousness.

The countdown continued. Two days remained until Ghidorah's Wings would arrive.
