Na'er's actions snapped Ye Wen out of his daze, and he quickly turned around to close the door behind him.

Though Ye Wen was now over a hundred years old, he still felt deeply embarrassed. That was his adopted daughter—how could he have harbored such inappropriate thoughts?!

But upon reflection, Na'er was no longer the little girl she once was. She was now a fully grown god-level expert capable of standing on her own.

As an adult, it was perfectly normal to have such desires.

Ye Wen awkwardly scratched his head and transmitted his voice into the room.

"Sorry, Na'er. I heard your groan earlier and thought you might be experiencing a cultivation mishap.

You're already a mature adult, so there's no need to feel embarrassed—it's all my fault.

Take care and rest well. I've got some things to take care of, so I'll leave first."

As soon as he finished speaking, Ye Wen fled from Na'er's door as if escaping for his life.

After a while, Na'er cautiously peeked out from under the blanket, her eyes filled with resentment. She seemed to blame Ye Wen for his sudden intrusion, but there was also a hint of something else in her gaze, as if silently calling him an idiot.

Later, as Ye Wen finished handling official matters, the stunning scene from earlier involuntarily replayed in his mind. He shook his head vigorously and even slapped himself twice on the face.

"Forget it, forget it! Why did I have to walk in on that? I hope Na'er doesn't hold it against me…"

Pushing aside his distracting thoughts, Ye Wen knew that what had already happened couldn't be undone. All he could do now was accept the situation.

That evening, Ye Wen's family gathered for dinner as usual. During the meal, Ye Wen discreetly glanced at Na'er a few times.

To his relief, Na'er appeared calm and composed, eating her meal without any sign of discomfort from the day's incident. This reassured Ye Wen somewhat—if word of this spread within the household, he'd lose all face.

But the more Ye Wen tried to suppress the memory, the more vividly the scene replayed in his mind, magnified as if through a lens.

"I'm such an idiot!"

At that moment, Ye Wen deeply understood the inherent flaws of human nature.

However, he failed to notice that Bibi Dong subtly observed him a few times.

After all, Bibi Dong was no longer the Goddess of Retribution but the Goddess of Desire.

"Something interesting seems to have happened. It's rare to see Ah Wen so troubled."

Bibi Dong smiled knowingly but didn't press the matter. She quietly waited to see what would unfold next.

That night, Ye Wen went to Yue Na's room as usual.

The other wives didn't object. After all, this newly joined sister hadn't received much of Ye Wen's affection, so it was natural for him to make up for it now.

Jealousy? Nonexistent.

After all, passion was fleeting, but a century of companionship was the true bond that held this family together.

Seeing Yue Na's face, which bore an uncanny resemblance to Na'er's, Ye Wen's inner fire was fully ignited. He poured all his pent-up frustration into Yue Na.

Dragons were naturally lustful creatures.

Yue Na accepted Ye Wen's wildness completely and even enjoyed it immensely.

But in the depths of the night, Ye Wen ultimately pulled back from the brink, refusing to succumb to depravity.

After a deep kiss, Ye Wen gently kissed Yue Na's smooth forehead, covered her with a blanket, and called it a night.

However, just as Ye Wen was about to fall asleep, the scene from earlier replayed in his mind, reigniting his inner turmoil. He cursed himself silently.

Why couldn't he stop thinking about it? These memories kept taunting him relentlessly.

Unable to sleep, Ye Wen quietly got out of bed and decided to take a stroll in the courtyard, hoping the vastness of the universe would purify his sinful thoughts.

But just as he stepped out of the door, he heard that familiar moan again.

Ye Wen froze mid-step, his expression darkening.

He repeatedly chanted in his mind, "It's an illusion, just an illusion. You can't fool me, heart demon."

But at Ye Wen's level of cultivation, how could he not distinguish between real and fake sounds?

In the end, his mounting concern overwhelmed his last shred of resistance.

"Perhaps something really happened to Na'er. I'll just take a quick peek—just a quick peek. I won't rush in recklessly this time."

Repeating this mantra in his mind, Ye Wen silently approached Na'er's room.

Carefully peeking through the gap in the door, Ye Wen's eyes widened as he observed the scene inside.

!!!

Though the room was dimly lit, both parties were god-level experts. As Ye Wen spied on the room, Na'er's eyes met his in the darkness.

"How did Na'er detect me? I'm using God King-level concealment!!!"

The instant he was discovered, Ye Wen realized something was amiss. In his understanding, Na'er was merely a divine official.

After all, Ye Wen didn't have a suitable divine position for her.

Thus, despite being one of the top three most talented among his children, Na'er had always been stuck at this level.

But before Ye Wen could dwell on it further, Na'er's tear-filled, bloodshot eyes locked onto him in the dim light. Two streams of tears slid down her cheeks.

Her face filled with regret, she hastily grabbed a blanket to cover herself.

This time, Ye Wen truly sensed something was wrong. Why was Na'er showing such an expression? At most, she should feel embarrassed about being caught in a compromising situation by her father—but what was with the regret?

A surge of urgency welled up in Ye Wen's heart. Something bad must have happened to Na'er for her to react this way.

Quietly pushing the door open and closing it behind him, Ye Wen entered the dimly lit room without turning on the lights. Slowly, he approached Na'er's bed.

Sitting beside her, Ye Wen gently patted the blanket and softly said,

"Na'er, are you facing some difficulties? Tell Daddy about it."

But the usually obedient Na'er didn't respond. The blanket trembled slightly, and Na'er shook her head beneath it, refusing to speak.

Reaching rebellion at this age? Ye Wen sighed inwardly but didn't pressure her to reveal what she was hiding.

Gently patting Na'er's head through the blanket, Ye Wen softly said,

"Silly child, we're family. Whatever difficulty you're facing, you can tell me."

But deep down, Ye Wen already had a suspicion.

As one of the few god-level experts on Douluo Star and his adopted daughter, who would dare to trouble his little princess? The only person who could possibly affect her like this was his wife—the Silver Dragon King, Yue Na.

At this thought, Ye Wen's eyes turned cold.

Though he didn't know exactly what Yue Na had done, whatever it was, it was clearly wrong to reduce his daughter to this state!
