As for why the Asura God position was enshrined?

Naturally, Ye Wen planned to pass it down after thoroughly researching and resolving its potential risks. After all, it was still a God King-level divine position, and he happened to have someone under him who was compatible with it. Making preparations in advance was only prudent.

Otherwise, handing over the divine position without ensuring a steady flow of faith energy to boost cultivation would be awkward, to say the least.

But that wasn't all. Ye Wen intended to compile a mythological epic to spread across the Douluo Continent as a collection of tales, further gathering immense faith.

Though Ye Wen had already shamelessly enforced rituals of worship among the citizens of Douluo to collect faith on a large scale, coercion and voluntary devotion were two entirely different things. He believed this approach would yield even greater returns.

However, crafting mythology was no simple task—it couldn't be carelessly fabricated. Flawed mythologies from his previous life had been endlessly mocked.

Still, Ye Wen had already established the basic framework.

The Sea God could serve as the first primordial creator deity, the entity that nurtured all living beings.

And the Dragon God? He wasn't the first lifeform in the universe—he attained enlightenment later. Thus, claiming the title of "Creator God" posed no moral burden for Ye Wen.

From there, various primordial sacred beings could emerge, setting up foreshadowing for future developments.

But the main focus remained on the current trio of gods.

The Rakshasa and Asura could be defined as deities of order who pacified chaotic eras, also serving as gods of humanity's path.

Ultimately, the Rakshasa was defined by Ye Wen as the God of Hell, punishing all evildoers. His divine domain was the current Hell Capital, a nightmare for all criminals, whether in life or after death.

The Asura God remained the Law Enforcement God, embodying the role of punishing evil and eradicating wrongdoing—the god of righteous slaughter and retribution.

If you faced judgment from the Rakshasa, you wouldn't die immediately; the true terror lay in enduring endless torment in Hell after death.

But if you faced the Asura God, even if killed, your soul would remain imprisoned in his divine domain, endlessly suffering the torment of slaughter as penance for past sins.

These concepts embodied the principle of "evil begets evil," something the weak loved to believe in—faith in such intangible ideas.

The Angel God was defined by Ye Wen as the Sea God's chief guardian deity, the light of all beings and the god of human justice. Those who followed the divine will and stayed on the righteous path would surely receive his protection.

Compiling this mythology left Ye Wen utterly exhausted. Even just drafting the basic framework—without any refinement—had resulted in a 100,000-word manuscript.

This was not something that could be rushed. It required meticulous attention to detail. Any loopholes in the mythology could later undermine faith, which would have dire consequences.

Ye Wen had been particularly disgusted by authors in his previous life who failed to adhere to their own world-building rules, contradicting themselves as they wrote. Wasn't that slapping themselves in the face?

Moreover, there was no rush to spread this mythology, as the three gods currently active on the Douluo Continent already had their respective sources of faith. There was no need to hurry.

It could be arranged before his ascension.

As for the development of his other two wives, Ye Wen allowed them to take charge of their own paths. Meanwhile, he also needed to plan for his own future.

As the Sea God, sea soul masters naturally formed his core group of believers.

Unfortunately, the original Sea God had only propagated the Sea God's faith in the southwestern seas near Sea God Island, leaving vast regions untouched. Ye Wen intended to establish his faith in these areas.

It was time to let the sea soul masters who had been secluded on Sea God Island come out and stretch their legs.

Thanks to the Deepsea Demon Whale King's surrender, the once-dangerous Demon Whale Seas were now safe.

With Ye Wen stationing two of his divine officials there, no one dared to cause trouble in that territory anymore.

Sea God Island, located far out in the ocean, possessed many resources unavailable on the mainland, including whale glue.

Now that the continent was stable, it was time to open trade routes, allowing Sea God Island to exchange resources and strengthen his followers.

The plans proceeded smoothly.

After Ye Wen publicly revealed information about certain treasures, Sea God Island's status naturally became highly sought after.

After all, land-based soul masters struggled greatly to survive at sea—without a ship, they were as good as dead.

Precisely because of this, the value of sea soul masters skyrocketed, transforming them from obscurity into coveted assets for various factions.

Furthermore, as news of the Spirit Hall's renewed faith objects spread, people began to recognize the significance of the Sea God and Sea God Island.

With various factors amplifying the momentum, the faith Ye Wen received surged dramatically, replenishing his once-tight reserves of divine energy.

Because of Ye Wen's inherently peaceful nature and his decisive actions when necessary, he aligned well with certain characteristics of the Dao of the Sea.

With abundant divine energy, Ye Wen's cultivation entered a new phase of rapid advancement.

Time passed swiftly—

In the blink of an eye, thirty years had gone by. The traces of the former Tian Dou and Star Luo Empires had long vanished into history.

Yet the ruler seated upon the highest imperial throne remained unchanged, as if time had stood still.

For decades, everything on the Douluo Continent had been meticulously organized. The people lived in abundance, and the number of soul masters had increased dramatically.

Twenty years ago, Ye Wen had also publicly introduced artificial spirit rings.

These relied on a special type of soul-guiding device called a Spirit Ring Pillar, capable of gathering the dispersed spirit ring energy of deceased spirit beasts within a certain range and condensing it into a spirit ring devoid of innate soul skills.

This didn't mean the spirit ring was useless to soul masters. On the contrary, its soul skills could now be customized, eliminating the randomness of the past.

This was undoubtedly a blessing for the broader community of soul masters.

Soul masters with poor aptitude often had few spirit rings and soul skills, and sometimes ended up with garbage abilities, making their plight even worse.

The introduction of the Spirit Ring Pillar brought Ye Wen unprecedented faith.

He accepted it gracefully but promptly declared all hunting grounds off-limits to soul masters, prohibiting anyone from entering to hunt spirit beasts.

The reasoning was the same old argument: the relationship between spirit beasts and soul masters. Without the constraints of spirit rings, some soul masters might risk everything for profit by killing spirit beasts.

For a time, lower-tier soul masters across the Douluo Continent complained bitterly, as their hunting teams primarily relied on this for income.

But Ye Wen would not budge on this issue. No one understood human greed better than he did.

Just look at Douluo II, where even ordinary Shrek Academy teachers resorted to mass slaughtering spirit beasts to create secret technique soul bones. Clearly, even the highly educated could act recklessly for profit. If unchecked, even Ye Wen's inventions would eventually become worthless.

Thus, the matter was quickly suppressed.
