I pulled out my homework from my messy backpack and tossed it to Nora next to me. "You know what to do, Nora," I said lazily.
Nora took the crumpled homework, her eyes catching a glimpse of a yellow magazine in my bag, making her frown.
She glared at me and whispered. "Are you trying to go after Miss. Graham?"
I chuckled, sliding my hand onto Nora's thigh under the table. "Lois is gorgeous. What guy wouldn't be tempted?"
Nora blushed, wanting to push my hand away but not quite managing to.
I turned to her with a soft smile. "You're beautiful too, Nora. Any guy would be tempted by you."
Nora couldn't help but smile, rolling her eyes at me. "I don't want other guys to be tempted. I just want you to be."
I chuckled, holding her hand under the table and leaning in closer. "You're my favorite."
Nora nodded, whispering back. "You're my favorite too."
I smiled and started to doze off on my desk.
When I woke up, class was just ending.
