The guild too had it's reasons to first think of contacting the Astraea Familiar for this murder case, one, this was guaranteed to be related to Evilus and the Astraea Familiar were fighting against it for almost years now. The second was that Astraea was also known as the goddess of justice and was very good friends with Demeter, and finally even if the guild did not inform the Astraea Familia, the members of the Ganesha Familia would inform them.
And also, the Demeter familia was not an exploration type familia, instead it is an agricultural and business type familia and hence they did not have any high rankers or first class adventurers.
----------------------------
You could see the respect and great admiration towards the Astraea Familia in the eyes of the adventurers present there, after all they were the part of the group who were at the forefront in the fight during the Great Feud of Orario or the so called 'Seven Days of Death'. There were still many of them who were saved by the little girls in front of them.
The two groups of people were now walking towards the inside of the guild, with the exclamations of Ganesha could still be heard 'I am Ganesha'.
With the guild personnel returning to their counters, the adventurers to dispersed, some moving towards the exchange counters, some towards the guild adviser queues, some leaving the guild building.
Looking around for a while and not spotting the guild advisor assigned to me, I lined in a queue on random.
After a while, I reached the booth then checked with the guild member sitting there about my advisor, who then asked me to take a seat and that he would let them know.
After waiting for some more time, a grumpy looking female werewolf, in her early 20's, with red hair, came from a side hallway connected to the hall, and started walking in my direction upon spotting me.
...
Rose Fannett, a 21 year old guild adviser, had just gotten a report that one of her assigned adventurer had died in the dungeon, and had gone to the library to take some time off and cool herself.
Although she pretended to not care about her assigned adventurers, she had memorized each and everyone's name and their level's and their strengths and weakness and the dungeon floor then had been to, trying to provide some help in her own way.
Only a few minutes had passed when she received a message that another one of her assigned adventurer was looking for her.
Upon going to the guild's hall and looking around, she immediately spotted the boy who was standing out due to his yellow hair and red pupils, and started to walk towards him.
According to the details he had submitted to the guild, his name was Light, a new adventurer, still not part of any Familia, and someone who had joined the dungeon basic course training for a month.
She was assigned as his advisor by the guild and would try her best to help him.
...
"Hello Miss Fannett, nice to meet you. I came to check if you were able to find any familia that I can join? Also I want to let you know that I went to the dungeon first floor yesterday."
As we already knew each other, I directly spoke the matter about which I had come to the guild for.
"Hello, Light-san, nice to meet you too. About finding a familia, especially based on your conditions will take more time, you also know the current condition of Orario, and about you going to the dungeon, I had clearly asked you to wait till you find a Familia if I remember correctly no? Anyway, it is your wish if you want to go to the dungeon" her voice was still grumpy but almost took a heavier tone on the part about the dungeon.
"Haha, nice joke, Fannett-san, I was just on the 'beginners road' in the first floor and did not go deeper and I was also very nearby to the dungeon entrance, I can guarantee that I was not playing with my life, hehe." I tried to convince her upon hearing the slight tone change when she spoke about the dungeon.
"In that case I won't say any more, but still as I said, first join a Familia and then try to got to the dungeon if you can, and if you still really want to go to the dungeon, just try to limit yourself to the first floor as much as possible and remember, no matter what do not let your guard down in the dungeon for any reason." was the reply from the werewolf.
"Also is that all or do you want to consult on anything else?"
"Ah yes, another thing I wanted your help on, I want to go to the guild library, if possible, to check out more information about the dungeon and about Orario in general."
Although there was a library in my house, there were books only about Orario, its history, about the world in more detail, there was nothing about the dungeon or the monsters in it in detail, which was another reason for me to come to the guild in the morning.
"Sure, but as you still don't have a falna, or aren't a member of any Familia, it is not allowed to normal people to enter the library, but you can let me know about any specific type of books which you want, and I'll bring them to you, and you can use a private consultation room to read them for now.
I thanked her for her help and asked her to bring books related to the dungeon and the monsters and the latest books about the familia's in Orario, if possible.
She led me towards a consultation room and returned with a pile of books after some time, asking me to let her know once I was done reading and promptly closed the door and turned the sign on the door of the consultation room to in-use.
It was almost lunch time when I finished browsing through the all the books, the memories from Earth helping me browse through all the knowledge which I would require in the future.
After informing Rose and assuring her that I would only stay in the first floor even if I wanted to go to the dungeon, I left the guild.
...
Walking through the western main road of Orario, one could still see the effects of the recent fight between the Evilus and the major Familia's.
Many buildings were still under construction and there were still some pot holes on the roads, courtesy to bombings and self-detonations during the seven days, and the few intact buildings still standing, had sword marks or burn marks on them.
Only a few street side stalls were open, the rest closed or empty, their owners dead or missing, the roads also the same, empty, except for a few figures passing here and there, going about their business.
This was still much better than a month ago when the streets of Orario were completely empty and people were forced to live in refugee camps.
I bought a few meat skewers from one of the street stall and felt fortunate that I was not in Orario during the Great Feud and instead was in Altena, courtesy to my big sister, allowing me to escape it.
I had just returned to the dungeon city a month ago, and I had almost mistaken the city for a ghost city, with destroyed buildings and dead bodies everywhere, the stench of blood thick in the air. The only thing giving vitality to this city was the still standing Tower of Babel and the citizens going about repairing the buildings.
And due to me not being in Orario during that time I was not sure of how much bad the incident was or its aftermath except from what I could see or hear.
It was officially announced by the guild that the number of deaths were more than forty thousand and still counting, even more people were injured. It was almost like the city that was known as the center of the world was on its last legs.
...
While thinking about the Orario from a month before and other random things, I finished the skewers which I had brought from the stall, and my final destination for today was in sight, the famous Stardust Garden, Astraea Familia's home.
