"What happened?"
One of the knights asked in concern, seeing Raven rubbing
her eyes, wincing.
"There was a flash of light… it blinded me. It killed my monster. I didn't even see it move."
Leon's eyes narrowed. He was already starting to put the pieces together, figuring what kind of monster that attack her tamed-monster bird.
"That's a level 5 monster," he said grimly.
The surrounding knights all reacted with surprise at his words. At that moment, Kristoff and the senior knights approached, overhearing the conversation.
"Are you certain?" Kristoff asked.
Leon nodded. "It's the Thunderclaw—a level 5 beast that uses lightning elements."
Kristoff's eyes widened. Although he was a high-ranking knight, he hadn't encountered this particular monster before. Some of the other knights, however, were visibly more shocked.
"Wait… you mean the Thunderclaw?"
"Whoa. That's my first time hearing about it."
"Are they really level 5?"
